FANBLOODYTASTIC Pops, I'm so pleased for you! Grin That shag dictator was worth every bloody penny and maybe DH cutting down on his "me" time Grin Grin You are glowing with radiance already!

Bean that's rubbish news about your poor cousin Sad I hope that she recovers quickly and has a healthy pregnancy very soon. Sorry your DHs results were not great but the lifestyle changes will make a massive difference I'm sure. GPs really can be CRAP sometimes!

Imps I get awful ovulation pains - far worse than period pains. Years ago I had a scan done because of the pains and obviously since then I have had trillions several other scans and my ovaries are healthy so it's normal mid-cycle pain. FWIW mine has got worse over time and I think I'm even more aware of it with the whole TTC malarkey!

I am grumpy today for no apparent reason, at least it can't be PMT on CD8!

Big hello to all the other smacketers!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 31/01/2012 21:50

Ninja!!! My lovely, how are you? Of course we remember you!

Bean that is such sad news. Wishing lots of love to your cousin.

Imps I get the pains in the bum too! Makes me feel like I need a poo, when I actually don't Grin

Pop, I meant to say Grin at your DH and his celebratory burger king!

I am trial running some cosmo cupcakes. I would quite like to relax though, I am beyond shattered. Moan over.

NinjaChipmunk · 31/01/2012 22:10

I'm good thanks maybe, rounding out well Grin. I do like your new(ish) name, it's very no nonsense. How are you and your lovely fluffy sidekick? Last I read you were having some noise/ behavious issues? And those cakes do look tempting, don't mind if I do....
bean your poor cousin, thats so sad.
Little kernal is just genius, and sooo cute. Aw, has a due date been worked out yet?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 31/01/2012 22:44

Ah, I am so please for you Ninja when are you due? Team blue/pink? Grin

I am indeed no nonsense this year. I am going to get diffed. Fact.

Otis is good, growing at a rate of knots with teeth falling out left right and centre!! His biting is much better, we have now moved on to being a nightmare on the lead!! But we will get there. He is very, very cute, and he knows it!

I also love kernel, I forgot to say earlier. And now I imagine the little kernel puffing up, until in 9 months time, it will pop out a lovely puffy piece of corn

BeedleTheBard · 01/02/2012 06:39

bean here's something to cheer you up even more read this I was bored and googling ( and a bit worried I had remembered it wrong and given you false hopes Blush ) - anyway according to the WHO 4% is now considered ok and normal, which probably explains the confusion between the doctors, one of them was up to date and the other wasn't. And sorry about your cousin, it took me so long to type last night I'd missed a load of messages.

Hi biscuits you are looking well, so 32 weeks already not long before another booking baby joins us Grin

ScarlettInSpace · 01/02/2012 09:02

So good I said it twice!
Stupid BlackBerry

farfallarocks · 01/02/2012 09:30

musical thanks for that, DTD every 2/3 days would be my preference too but DH's sex drive has taken a general hammering so that is not happening. I think I am going to have to back off completely for a while and let him come to me, even if that means missing a few fertile shags.

His job is so stressful, he is not enjoying it and part of the problem is that I earn a lot more than him and have a great job that does not stress me out much. So he feels like his endevour is a bit pointless at the moment. I so want him to be happy but he is talking of resigning and I don't think him sitting about all day with no plan b is going to do either of us any favours. When did live get so complicated, eh?

biscuits 32 weeks already! Wow!!!!!

bean your poor friend! I keep on hearing all this terribly sad stories and its making me think there is something in the air at the moment. It does look like your DH's sperm analysis is not as bad as you first though thanks to beedle's googling?

How are you pop still smiling from ear to ear?

Waves to everyone else and passes round the blueberry muffins.

PopcornMouse · 01/02/2012 09:55

Morning brookers! Another + this morning so I'm definitely not dreaming :o had an insane worry that maybe Tesco had mislabelled an OPK as a HPT, but this one was from a different pack!! :o
DH spent the evening referring to me as ?the pregnant lady? and ?pregnant wife? and shoving his hand up his tshirt to do alien chest-burster impressions he's so romantic :o

How was this morning's test, Generic ? (What is RMC? Blush )
No, we're not planning on telling anyone ? I couldn't bear everyone knowing my business if it went wrong iykwim? Which is terribly pessimistic, but I'm a very private person irl. Added to which there is a lot of pressure/expectation around DH and I to announce a pregnancy as we are the last of our large families to have kids. I can't cope with the scrutiny tbh! And I'm also enjoying being upduffed without my mother going worrying about how we'll ?manage? Wink

Thanks smegs ! Enjoy your holiday, I hope you're going somewhere hot and lovely :)

I never get ovulation pain Imps but that does sound pretty severe. Is it a new thing? I'd head to the GP if it persists. Aristotle :o

Blimey bean men GPs do spout some shite, don't they? Shock And well done for uncovering that nugget of information beedle that's excellent :)
I'm really sorry to hear about your cousin, though, bean, that's just awful.

POAS!

Thanks scarlett and little ! :)

ninja we're still in shock :o Due date is 8th October a Libra, DH says and I have discovered I am magically awarded two bonus-weeks, so I am suddenly 4+2 which is just bizzarro!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/02/2012 10:13

Oh Pop, you make me Grin Your DH sounds hilarious. I totally understand the not wanting to tell people. I too am quite private. But Nothing is going wrong with this bean, it is super sticky.

Unfortunately we have missed out on the gum stage with the pup, as his adult teeth have grown in before the ld ones are out Grin

Far is there anyway DH can look to moving jobs? Though I know that is far easier said than done at the moment.

Scarlett boo to us being limited access at work.

I have cross hairs on FF Grin I am so excited by this. My body works! Wohoo!

Sweetie how are you feeling? I still feel like crap. Couldn't get in at the doctors Sad DH is just telling me to rest, but I feel really useless like this. Moan over.

Has anyone heard from Munx?

PopcornMouse · 01/02/2012 10:16

Psst Far..... you could suggest to DH that if he gets you upduffed, he could be a stay-at-home-house-husband... :o :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/02/2012 11:15

Pop I can't remember, were you temping alongside the CBFM? Only you said you ov'd earlier than you thought, and was wondering whether that coincided with a temp shift?

PopcornMouse · 01/02/2012 11:26

How long have you been ill for maybe , it's been a while hasn't it? :( I hope you feel better soon.

Yes I got a temp rise the day after my first "peak" (which is the same as a +OPK) which is normal for me My chart is here, and it includes the CBFM data :)

GenericDietCola · 01/02/2012 11:29

Oh Pop good to see you all glowing!

Maybe sorry you are still so poorly and I hope you feel better soon.

Beedle that is good to know for Bean re the swimmers - hope it heralds some good news.

Hi Ninja how are you? How many weeks are you now?

Got very very faint positive this morning and it took the full 5 min to appear so I really think the hCG is nearly back to non-pregnant levels, which is great news for rat smacking! I feel crampy today so maybe I will get an AF, then start my cycle properly. Hope so, cos then I would know where I was!

Hope Munx is OK. Brooking for you.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/02/2012 12:25

Oh Generic lets hope you are very nearly back to normal Smile

Been ill for 10 days now pop Feel guilty about being off work especially seen as my boss is such a twat but I honestly don't thin i could face a 4 hour commute and a whole day in work Sad I might try and force myself in tomorrow.

Thanks for your chart, I am going to go have a look!

NinjaChipmunk · 01/02/2012 12:36

maybe we don't know yet if its a boy or girl but should find out at 21 week scan on valentines day (excited!!!). Gut feeling says its another boy, family history would point to a girl so who knows? Sorry to hear you're not well though, hope you shake it off soon. It sounds like its been lingering for some time.
popcorn thats a week before ds's birthday! Libras are awesome. How exciting for you. And with your crafty skills you'll be making loads of cute stuff no doubt?
generic (& little) its lovely to see you back on here, how are you doing? I wouldn't normally wish af on anyone but if it would help get you back on track then I shall brook no argument for it!
Right am at work so need to do some stuff, be back soon x

SweetieDoesIt · 01/02/2012 12:55

maybe I am getting over cold, may even risk going into work tomorrow. I have booked to see GP on fri. Gunna have a chat about the whole TTC lark as I am getting panic attacks and anxiety, think it is all connected.Hmm How are you? Can you pop to see your Dr for a tonic as my Mum would say? Hope you feel better soon. How you getting on with the temps? I haven't done mine since weekend so not really sure when I ovulated Confused

Aw Pop how awesome to have a little Libra kernel! Seems DH taking it all in his stride too. Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/02/2012 13:06

Oh Ninja that is possibly the best Valentines present ever Grin Make sure you come back and tell us what you're having!

Sweetie you poor thing. Definitely get to the GP, it must be awful feeling like that. Panic attacks are one of the scariest things ever, don't feel you have to suffer in silence.

I may try and get to the docs tomorrow. I don't know whether to stay off work the rest of the week (and doing some bits from home) or risk forcing myself back and feeling worse. I sometimes struggle with my boss, as at the end of the day, I am a student, and am allowed to work from home if I can, though sometimes he treats us like employees that are only there to churn results out for him. Gah, I can't wait to leave academia!

How bloomin cold is it today? Beautiful, but chilly! Otis is confused about the ice on the grass. He loves ice, but normally it comes out the freezer, so he is a tad confused!

Also, has anyone else had the urge to punch the smug woman on the new clear blue OPK advert? Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/02/2012 17:40
beangrower · 01/02/2012 17:56

So much to read but big thanks now to Beedle and I will read/write more later. So it's really only motility that's a worry at 20% but we can work on that I do believe. Grin Oddly enough there needs to be a bit less shagging in Bean Towers. Maybe that's good for all in a way. We're knackered!

Keep smiling Pop.

Love to all of you and sorry to be brief, for once. xxxx

GreenOlives · 01/02/2012 19:08

Tired.com today, DS coughed almost continuously last night which meant we all had minimal sleep I had to phone work and tell them I couldn't come in as I needed to stay at home with DS (FIL was supposed to be looking after him but wouldn't cope with illness!) Anyhow I booked a doctors appointment for him but when we got there he had somehow made a miraculous recovery and made me look like a neurotic mother for even thinking he needed to see a GP Hmm Still at least I had a day off work Wink Maybe I think you should stay off work for the whole week - you don't need a lengthy commute when you're feeling crappy. Glad you're feeling better on the cold front Sweetie and I hope your appointment on Friday helps - panic attacks really are horrible Sad

Hi to all you other lovely ladies! x

P.S Am still OVER THE MOON for you Popcorn*!

GreenOlives · 01/02/2012 19:55

OVER THE MOON in BOLD obviously to emphasize my point!

TheLittleFriend · 01/02/2012 20:38

Glad to hear your dh's swimmers are better than your gp first explained bean.

All you CBFM lot, I'm going to be joining your gang when af arrives. My lovely friend is giving me her one, only used a couple of times, and I'm happy to use a second hand one if I know the previous owner! So get ready for lots of questions.

Still grinning for you pop xx

GenericDietCola · 01/02/2012 20:48

Green glad your DS is better! My DD has a cold and cough and keeps saying 'I've got a temperature - I need pink medicine' - that Calpol must taste lovely! I was very impressed and proud that she could say 'temperature' though and lie sort of convincingly

Bean I'm glad things are looking up a bit.
