Also moo - just noticed what time you posted, and that today's temp wasn't filled in. You know the earlier you temp, the lower the temp will be. I think our bodies reach their true basal temp at about 3am, and then it gradually creeps up. So, for every hour early you temp your temp will go down about 0.1 degree.

Assuming you temped an hour early, for example, and running your temp through an adjusted, it comes out as 36.13 - above the coverline and higher than yesterday!

How many dpo are you now? Just looked - 14 and temps still elevated, so it's not over yet!

You hear of lots of people who don't get their bfp til 16 - 18 dpo, and some don't get one at all! I guess that's why ff suggests we don't test till at least 18 dpo (I've yet to meet someone who's waited that long though! :o ).

Oh ladies, I know I am being super irrational, but I just can't see it happening! The last time I thought that I had ov'd (way back in September last year) almost the exact same thing happened, had a lovely chart, was really happy that my crosshairs were finally there and then, bang, temp dropped at 7DPO, became very erratic and eventually FF removed the crosshairs; until now I have not even had a hint of ov :(

You are all indeed correct though - if this was happening to anyone but me I would be telling you that until the hag whore appears, anything is possible. It's hard when it's happening to you though

Festie I didn't fill today's temp in because I was awake at about 2:30am needing to go to the toilet so I ticked the sleep deprived button, hence why i think it has not filled in my dot. My normal temping time is 05:15am, so I only really temped 15 mins earlier than normal. Aaargh - wish i did temp later, would have loved a 36.13 temp this morning.

Lil sorry that you are still on BFN, but as Festie rightly pointed out, some women take until 18DPO and beyond before they get a positive; maybe you have a shy bean!?! Weird dreams is also a very good sign.

Sorry for the rant this morning, have only got you guys to talk to about this; DH would not understand what it all means, he only wants to see hard facts. Disco in answer to your question, my spotting stopped yesterday, was blissfully happy, but it's started again today. Rang EPU 3 times this morning, apparently they can't be arsed to answer the phone. This combined with the fact that they still haven't bothered to phone me to see if I'm ok has me foaming at the mouth and wanting to go on a killing spree! Considering it's the only local hospital in my area, I'm not too impressed with their maternity services so far. Cocksuckers.

Disco when you said about your mum's dog stealing pants, I misread it- didn't see the word 'dog'. I thought, your mum's a bit odd, lol! At least it gave me a giggle this morning.

I tested at 13dpo if that helps, which is 1 day before AF for me usually.

Ruslka I have been firmly chastised, thank you; was just annoyed that i had two successive temp drops and if it drops again tomorrow maybe I can assume AF is on her way!! I am hoping beyond hope that my temp goes back up though - can I ask what sort of symptoms you had/have? I am 9dpo today and have the worst headache that I just can't seem to shift. Although i said my boobies were not as sore this morning, they are starting to hurt a little, more noticeable when i squeeze my arms against them to check.

Bloody arsewipe useless fecking hospitals!! What is the point, when you need them most, they let you down!! Thinking of you Rusulka hope that it comes to an end very soon and that you are able to stop worrying. As we have said before though, spotting in early pregnancy is quite common.

Yes Moo, everyone is telling me it's common in early pregnancy. It doesn't help my peace of mind that it's also the first sign of miscarriage though!

My only symptom was my sore boobs. I had sore boobs the cycle before, which is totally not normal, and got me all excited, but nothing. Then next cycle... . So it may be leading up to something, you never know.

Hi all, theres been a lot of activity on here over the last few days! Moo dont give up hope!! Rusulka also have my fingers crossed for you, hope you manage to get through to someone soon, they are truly shit for not bothering to answer the phone! Hi to Dee, Disco, Festie, Lil and everyone else.

Well I am completely hacked off and confused. This is my third cycle of CBFM, for the first two I got high readings from day 14 then peak on day 16 and 17 first time and peak day 18 and 19 second time, well here I am on day 18 and still on a low reading! Have had to go and buy more sticks!!! I don't get it, its so frustrating! Before I started using CBFM I'd been having 36-38 day cycles, then those 2 CBFM cycles were bizarre 26 and 27 day cycles, so I'm wondering if I'm reverting back to the long cycles again. GRRRRRRR.

Rusulka I can't believe how crap the hospital have been! Have you managed to get hold of anyone yet? Hope you are ok.

I have decided that I'm not going to test tomorrow - will see what the temps do and if AF arrives - partly because I am running out of sticks! EOD testing from now on until AF arrives or i get a bfp.

Right ladies, was not going to post until the morning, but I really really do not know what to think! I'll be honest, I tested yesterday afternoon (I have got 50 tests, so why not :)) and of course was BFN. Then with the temp drop this morning I thought, feck it, I'll test with FMU and unsurprisingly BFN. Well for shits and giggles I went to the toilet when I got in from work and thought I'd PIAP and see how weak my wee was; it was very bloody orange so I thought, right enough is enough, I'll test again (seems rude not to with 50 sticks)! I set the timer on my phone for 5 mins and watched for a couple of minutes! At first I thought I saw the hint of a line but wasn't sure so thought i'd wait until the timer ran out and then check! Well, with 30 seconds to go DH arrives home (I did not want him to know I was testing so ridiculously early) so took one more glance at the test, still thought I could see something and put it on my bedside table! Well after a quick chat with DH and him leaving the room I grabbed the test (I was still within the 10 min cut off time) and lo and behold there is a very very faint second line. I checked it against the BFNs that I had to see if it might be an evap (which it might still be) and they are still not showing anything! I don't even need to squint at the test, turn it to the light or at a funny angle to see the line but do not want to even think this could be the start of anything as I have been here so many times before. The line is pink but barely there. I just don't quite believe it could be true!! Especially with the temp drop this morning!

I think what I'm trying to ask is, could this be an evap? The more I look at it the more I think it's starting to look less pink and more grey.

Aargh! Don't want to get my hopes up only to have BFN confirmed with FMU!

Count have been mega thirsty so wee well and truly diluted and I've peed quite recently!! Part of me is scared as well!! Have you tested yet!! Lack of appetite and headaches seem pretty good symptoms! What DPO are you??

Maisie so sorry, in my self indulgent post I forgot to say that I hope your cycles settle in to some sort of sensible pattern! I am more than aware of the frustration of long cycles that change length each time so do sympathise with what you are going through!!

Mooley ooh ooh ooh! I can't offer any advice as have never had any sort of line on a pregnancy test but I would keep testing with FMU and be cautiously optimistic!
When you've got a definite line I'll go absolutely mental on your behalf!

Berries hi! I would also second the advice given by others that you can take antidepressants whilst ttc. My doctor recommended that I come off them to TTC but I was ready to give that a go anyway. I do have the odd bleak day but am mostly ok now. If you still feel crap then please go back, if stress is bad for TTC then how can feeling rubbish help?

Rusulka hope you managed to get through to your crappy EPU, I'd be tempted to turn up on their doorstep... Oh and my mum is eccentric but probably draws the line at knicker-thieving :)

Maisie that does sound a bit all over the place. At least with the cbfm you know when to dtd. I can understand how frustrated you feel though

Well, i've just informed DP of the sex schedule for this week (ovulation week hopefully). We're going to attempt tuesday, thursday, friday and saturday (should ovulate on the friday). Now I'm not sure, maybe I should jump him tonight and do wednesday, thursday, friday instead? Advice anyone?

I think it might be an evap :( the more I look at it the more it looks grey! And my research of ICs and evap lines is not very inspiring!! Only time will tell!!

Off to bed now, if temp is up in the morning I'll test but if lower or the same as today then won't bother.

Oh and Disco I'd go with Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday :)

MooWoooo today I'm in CD32 the longest cycle ever and my body just is feeling so weird!!!! I would be happy if I never got the bfn's and the brown tinge when I wiped but no full flow yet!!!
Enough about me, me, me it's not good!!
I just pray that this thread turns around oh I really do hope so!

Oh Count I know how frustrating this is. Brown CM = old blood and if it's only when you wipe it could possibly be a good sign. How long you gonna wait it out til testing?

Well temp went back up today.....yey and I tested and again I think I see something but this time it came up after the time limit so to err on the side of caution I'm taking the BFN stance. If temp hadn't have rose I would have been very pissed off.

moo very sensible to take a BFN stance but still feeling quite optomistic for you and a temp raise is definately good :)

Disco starting Tuesday sounds the best option but I know I wouoldn't be able to wait and would have jummped DH last night 'just in case' (I don't trust anything when it comes to ttc) Hope the swi goes well and at the sex schedule - maybe I need to make one. I'm imagining it in a homework style planner that I had at secondary school!

My temp dropped this am so guess I'm out. I do feel like AF is on her way and wouldn't be surprised if she comes today although can't work out why my temp didn't drop yesterday as usual - bloody body.

Really though this was going to be my month :( it just seemed right with the crap year we have had and everything would have come together - just a year later than planned. DH now at home, nice new house perfect for kids, financially better off as renting out our old house so can afford to be off for extended mat leave .... I just need the bloody baby!!!!!

My temp shot up today, so my chart is looking good, and CD17 is looking like ov definitely happened, which means my cycle is finally back to how it was before the mc! Huzzah! Does mean I'm only 4 dpo though, so what feels like a loooong wait now! How do I stop myself obsessively SS-ing though?!

Am visualising good news for you all - it's high time there was a rash of BFPs!

Oh, and rusulka - just to reiterate what the others have said - that is appalling! I don't suppose you've thought about just showing up at the front desk and demanding a scan?!

Thought I would give a quick update I'm on cd27, 8dpo and had some AF type pain for the last couple of days but that's it no other symptoms! AF is due on 24th and I am itching to test and don't know if I can wait till then although I want to be strict with myself!!

Good luck moo when will you test again?? I haven't been temping at all so am not familiar with what should be happening in that way. If we are not successful this month I may consider!!

Oh Lil I am not even going to mention the hag but you know what I am thinking and I have also seen pg charts when the temp drops but the hag never shows. You really are not out of the game yet!!

Winnie AF type pains can be a good sign. I have had them off and on since about 3DPO (they stopped at 5, 6, 7 and 8) then had them off and on yesterday and this morning I thought AF was here for sure, but they seemed to have died down again. When are you thinking of testing?

I have just ordered some FRERs - hopefully they should be here by Saturday. I will continue testing with the ICs, monitor my temps and if they drop then i will cease testing and put it down to experience.

Right, off to a meeting - best get myself prepared.

Pleased to confirm the EPU did pull their finger out of their bum and ring me last night at quarter to nine, very apologetic about their fax machine being broken- although if it was broken, how come they knew to ring me?- anyway, got scan booked for Thurs to check blob is ok. I'm so relieved that SOMETHING is being done. Will let you know how it goes.

Lil you need to relax! It's great that you've got everything in place now, are there any other jobs you can do that will finish to coincide with fertile time?
