Kitchen hope you had a good holiday and sorry that hag whore got you. She just can't leave us alone! And to be a day later than expected, even more cruel! I can sympathise, she's due here today but apart from the internal spitting (can you even call it that!?!) there's not even a hint of her imminent arrival. Even the cramps have gone.

Knowing my luck though she'll arrive in full force tomorrow, like you, a day later than planned.

"Internal spitting" - I love it! What a great description. I definitely have that going on along with the weeniest bit of spotting. If it wasn't a normal symptom of imminent AF for me, I'd get excited but it is and I won't. Weirdly, I have some cramping in the same side I had my ovulation cramping this month. So, there is still some clutching at straws going on here despite all the signs to the contrary.

Moo I'm really pleased your spotting has stopped. Hopefully that's the last you see of it for the next 10 months or so .

Dee damn my fat fingers and inability to check what I write!! But yeah, a bit of internal spitting is probably more accurate however, if your spotting is ceasing maybe something else is going on. I have everything crossed!!

The spotting hasn't stopped its just not developing into full blown AF. I'm confused because apart from a scantish fleck on the toilet paper this morning, if I didn't turtle I would be completely oblivious to what was going on up there. The discharge is mainly up around my cervix. I keep thinking she's arrived because I feel a bit wet but when I go to check there is nothing.

Surely it's too late for it to be implantation or anything.....right!?! I am resigned to the fact that it is probably just AF playing silly buggers!

Your spotting sounds exactly like mine though. I'm using a panty liner to monitor progress and I guess I'm spotting at the rate of about a fleck every couple of hours.

I don't know if yours is too late for implantation bleeding. I'm going with the theory that it takes a while to make its way down so the egg could implant and the associated bleed follow a day or two later? Don't listen to me though - I am fully delusional at this stage of my cycle.

glad we can be delusional together. Im not even using a liner as I don't need one, for 2 days there has been absolutely nothing on my underwear and only two spots when I wipe! I'm driving myself mad but am assuming AF until I get a more definite answer (either full flow or it completely stops)

I'm reaching to end of AF and getting ready to start again. Been awol as shopping for Vegas. We have booked valentines night at the bellagio with meal etc. Dh had the idea of getting ready separately and meeting at the bar so I've had to go buy a posh outfit to meet him in! Was looking for a cocktail style dress but ended up falling in love with this Know I should put this in style and beauty but would be interested in what you ladies thought. Very different from my usual jeans and trainers well thought out and fasionable style and a bit scared he'll hate it. I would honestly say my boobs look better than hers in it :), but my bum and hips look worse:(. Hold it all in underwear is on its way!!

Sorry for rambling about my fashion woes instead of ttc. Just find it so easy to 'talk' to you lot.

I think it's beautiful, lil, and a bargain to boot! Vegas sounds amazing, you lucky thing! My inheritance from my dad recently came through, and while it's not a kings ransom, me and dh are thinking about going off roading in Namibia for a couple of weeks - dh used to run a company taking people on expeditions across the sahara and grew up in east Africa, so it's all in a days work to him. But me, I'm a wussy westerner! I love the idea, but am a bit scared, and what if I'm pregnant? (yeah, right!) His ex did south Africa heavily pg and was fine - so he says, but I don't quite believe it - I reckon she was mega uncomfortable and mega pissed off!

Anyway, I slept a lot today again, and I'm getting less good at not ssing - sharp pains in boobs anyone? Must sit on hands and wait till weds!

Hope the spotters are continuing not to spot much, the af-ers are nearly rid of the bitch, the SWI-ers are SWI-ing up a storm and the 2ww-ers are doing better than I am in the sanity stakes!

Ohh Namibia sounds amazing, would love to do that but agree, if you were pg it might not be the mose comfortable experience - guess it would depend how you were, if it was a really morning sicky pg might not be that much fun. However, I have learnt to stop putting things off because I might be pg, I've missed out on lots of fun and am still not (however we haven't booked the skydive, just in case ...!!)

Moo it could be a breakthrough bleed- I had brown cm on Christmas Day- think it was AF shouting 'curses!' and then getting slowly fainter while she screamed insults at me. Keep up the good work on pretending it's nothing- easier to deal with if it is, and a lovely surprise if it's something after all!

Lil couldn't hear the heartbeat, just see a little white dot flashing on the screen. That it was there at all cheered us immensely. And I'm sure you'll look lovely for your date.

Festie off-roading sounds fun! You should totally go for it. You can't plan your life to accommodate the what-ifs. If they never happen you've missed an opportunity, and if they do, just go with the flow, I'm sure it will be fine.

Believe it or not, I'm STILL spotting. It's been a week and a half now. I appreciate the lack of MS, but I really hope I'm not leaking brown goop for the next 7 months. It's just so worrying, and frankly, f*cking icky. Plus I want some SWOI, but that's what started it in the first place, so I guess it's out.

Have had a lovely day, catching up with one of my best friends - she has just told me that she and her DH have agreed to start ttc for #2! So fingers crossed that we get pg together!!

My MIL was over yesterday - she has been so excited since we told her that we were going to try for a baby (she assumed that we just never would). She has started knitting a little baby outfit for her future grandchild - she's pragmatic that she hopes it will be for our baby, but if not (fingers crossed it is not the case!), she will donate it to charity.

Festive - best of luck with the wait until Wednesday. I am also on the 2ww, although this is just assuming, as it's my first cycle following my first AF in several years. I never thought I'd every be so happy to see AF as I was at the beginning of the month!! If I'm on a 28 day cycle, then next AF is due in a week. Fingers and toes all crossed!!

Festie wow I too have always wanted to do something similar but never had the balls to. I agree though, being pregnant and trying to do something like that might not be ideal, but as the girls said, you can't put your life on hold too much! We're planning a trip to Peru next year. I've told DH that we might have a LO in tow; if so we just have to work around it. Not ideal but we'll manage :)

Did you have a temp drop with it? I just don't know what to think! Driving me insane. If it is AF I wish she'd hurry the f*ck up :o

Breakthrough bleeding moo - had it with dd1 . It's a bleed that turns up when your period would have been due. I had it twice, and then obviously by the third month the hormones were high enough to prevent it.

Can't find any info about temps and breakthrough bleeding, sorry. What's your temp doing? Is it still above the coverline?

Thanks festie - no my temp dropped just below this morning, hence why I'm leaning towards this being early onset of AF and nothing else!!

Yes, thanks, I did have a lovely holiday, DS learned to ski, had good weather, good food, and good company. Sorry to come back such a grumpy cow, just everything got to me a bit. Have picked myself up again, and looking onwards and upwards!

Winnie I do hope so, I just hope I ov again and that last cycle was not a missed opportunity, especially as I am still waiting for my HSG appointment.

Lil I do hope that this is an indication that my body is getting back into some sort of natural routine - i can defintely handle a 23 day cycle, but a 77 one, not so much! Not sure what's happening with the hospital to be honest, I am still waiting for news of my test results and my HSG appointment to come through, I am wondering whether it is becaues DH has not yet done is SA that they are reluctant to sort me a date out.

Festie how are the temps looking this morning?? When do you test??

Hi all! Sorry the witch got you moo - but so cool that you had a lovely ovulatory cycle!

My temps are looking good, back up this morning and I am massively bloated and sore boobs which sounds like af, but for me is unheard of. I am still trying to work hard at not getting worked up, too many cycles now when I have and then been disappointed. Could have tested today but didn't! Will prob test on weds when af is due.

Fx so hard it hurts!

I have had a pad on for nearly 2 hours now and it is completely snow white; I only have a slight bit of pinkish when I wipe and, ahem, up there it is also pinkish with no clots or anything like that. I think it definitely is the witch but even with my anovultory cycles I get clots and leakage onto the pad/tampon. This is weird. But, I am thinking that because it's my first real cycle since last July that my body is just adjusting.

I am going to monitor closely though. Festie, with your breakthrough bleed, was it like a very light AF?

The hag has got me. Spitting went from brown to pink to red overnight and volume has increased so I don't think I can deny it anymore. Crappity crap.

Nausea in the car today, trying so hard not to SS - but failing frankly. Only got to wait till weds. Have a left over frer ready and waiting!
