festie do you normally get motion sickness? If not, then this could very well be a very good sign, and if you do, then it's still a good sign, apparently those of us who are unlucky enough to get travel sick will have it worsen when pg.

Well have been for another toilet trip and it's so light that even the TP is struggling to pick anything up; it's a very light pink as well. My temp was back up above coverline today as well; I don't know whether to put this down as spitting still. Any advice?? Grin

eaglewings · 23/01/2012 11:07

Dee and Moo, sorry to hear the news.

Festie, the waiting is hard!

I too feel sick, have sore boobs and need talking out of testing before Friday, oh the temptation when there are 4 tests from Super Drug sitting in the bathroom

eaglewings · 23/01/2012 11:08

Sorry, just read your last post properly Moo, still hope!

Notinmykitchen · 23/01/2012 11:46

Morning all,

Damn that hag! Sorry to hear she has got you Dee and Moo, although it sounds like she is not sure about you yet Moo have you POAS recently? l
know I would be tempted!

Festie and Eagle hopefully one of you will have some good news for us soon!

I am currently trying, once again, to accept the fact that a second DC may just not happen for us. I have now run out of OPK's, and I won't be buying any more, so its more H(hoping)TC than TTC here now. Strangely that is not an entirely negative thing for me, I can see a point in the future, where if it does not happen I will be able to move on, and be happy with what I have. I hope that is not the wrong thing to say on here? Confused

Anyway, have updated myself on the stats.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 23/01/2012 12:02

Right ladies, I basically lied when I said the witch was here, because whatever this is, it is not proper AF; a turtle has proven that there is hardly anything there, a smallish brown lumpy thing and very very light pink staining. That is it. I am confused.

Kitchen i have been holding off testing because I was waiting to see what was happening with the spitting, but it seems that it is subsiding somewhat (although the cramping is not) and my CP is definitely soft and kinda feels closed (definitely not open as it has been previously).

I just don;t know what to think and ultimately, at this late stage, a test is the only thing that will confirm one way or another. I think my cervix is angry with me!

festiemum · 23/01/2012 12:32

Hmm, moo I think the time has come to test again, if you can bring yourself too!

No, I don't get motion sickness when I'm driving, but I hadn't eaten much, so am putting down to that. I just have to stop thinking about it til weds (I'm failing, can you tell?!)

kitchen - I think having a fatalistic attitude to it all is excellent, and the way to stay sane ultimately. I don't think I can do it, but would love to be able to, so kudos to you!

eagle - I am sooo with you! But I have had too many disappointing BFNs in the last few months, so I am determined to wait! Bloody hard though!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 23/01/2012 16:00

Festie I think that you are right; i need to go to Halford's after work to get some new bulbs and wind screen wipers for the car, so might try and hold my pee until I get back home and see how diluted it is and maybe test. I have an FRER but I might just use an IC for now. I mean, if I was pg, then it should show up by now.......right!?! Spitting has all but stopped, hardly anything on the TP now!!

Festie it's just too hard not to try and SS though; every little sign is just so frustrating. I have everything crossed that you make it to Wednesday unscathed and that AF stays the f*ck away Grin

Kitchen maybe not stressing yourself out about when you have ov'd and taking a more natural stance will make things happen more easily! I know that since I stopped using the OPKs i am definitely a little more relaxed and just try to SWI as often as we can and hope for that temp shift. Afterall, OPKs can only warn you that ov is about to happen, the temps can actually show that you have, so i recommend just having SWI as often as you can up until the point that you seen the sustained shift!

Winnie81 · 23/01/2012 16:47

Any update moo?????

Discolite · 23/01/2012 18:11

Gosh, I only updated last on Saturday morning and there is loads more on here! I'm 5dpo and really want booze bored. So far my symptoms have been same old same old - one boob hurtier than the other (snap Festie!) and some more of the middle lower abdominal pains have just started (they are where I imagine my bladder to be). I'm already driving myself mental but everytime I say (in my head of course!) 'I want a baby' I quickly amend it to 'I'm getting a puppy'!

So that's the answer to your question Kitchen, I don't have the puppy yet - he's being picked up in 19 days time. I agree that not having OPKs could be a blessing in disguise. I used them for 3 or 4 cycles and they just made me miserable and stressed to be honest. Just keep on trying and you never know! I know you've been trying for a very long time but you are still only 36 and have proven fertility.

Moo was your wee concentrated enough? Or are you going to test with FMU? Tell us, tell us!

Dee bad luck. It's horrible when the period shows up. Still you could now safely have a Wine if you're that way inclined. It's hard though to see the silver lining sometimes.

Lil that outfit is very very glamorous and actually, very Vegas. You'll manage to blend right in and stand out in the crowd, which is a difficult trick to pull off!

Eagle and Festie I hope you are managing to fend off the madness!

Ok, I'm off to nurse my aching womb. Good luck Moo

festiemum · 23/01/2012 18:40

disco - I was working very hard, and doing very well at the fending off madness lark. But it's all gone to pot now; I'm nauseous, tired and emo, and keep thinking af's arrived - my under crackers keep feeling they've got stuff on. Oh it's mental and no mistake! Sorry to hear about your achy womb :(

So......moo - I think we're all on tenterhooks here! :o

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 23/01/2012 18:52

Evening all. Jury is still out on this one. Still spotting but it's not getting any worse. Cramps are and they are starting to make me feel sick. Tested with weaker than weak pee, I mean it was nearly see through!! But I'm not sure of the result because DH was waiting in the car (I had run into the house desperate for a wee whilst DH waited in the car) buuuut, I checked and I am sure there's something there but know this is prob an evap!

Will test with FMU, but think the witch will be making an appearance as cramping is bearable but bad iykwim!

Hi all
Just quickly popping in, so haven't had time to properly read all the thread (wasn't expecting so much!!). Just wanted to add myself onto the stats going forward.

Bah to inconclusive results! Bah to cramping! I hope she doesn't show her face moo and you can test with fmu tomorrow.

Thank you alex Thanks

I'm having naughty thoughts of testing tomorrow (11 dpo) but I swore I'd wait till af was due; it's only another day dammit!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 23/01/2012 21:09

Oh festie you and me both! Have got myself so excited that this is it that I'm sure that my areolas are increasing Grin and that possible positive is looking more pink and positive the more I look at it, yet I'm sure the spitting has got a little worse although the cramping has eased loads aaaaargh!!!!

Looking at that list I feel old! Normally. Feel too young to be a mum, a fraud, but you are the young ones :)

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 24/01/2012 05:47

Morning ladies.

Well the saga continues; I am sitting here with 3 tests in front of me, one BFP and two BFN.

FRER = BFN from FMU
IC = BFP from FMU (same wee as FRER test)
IC = BFN from not FMU and whatever was in my bladder at the time.

I'm really peed off and don't know what to think. There isn't even the hint of a second line on the second IC but a definite thick pinkish line on the first one. Any ideas?

Discolite · 24/01/2012 07:18

Oh goodness Moo I don't know what to think either! The BFP is great but the FRER...how many DPO are you now? I've read on fertility friend that 100% of people get a BFP by 18 dpo but of course there is that very small subset of women who never get a positive test with urine but do get a positive with a blood test.

I suppose all I can offer is cautious optimism for the BFP (Yay!) and that you'll just have to keep on testing until either you get a BFP with FRER or your period arrives.

It's horrid being in limbo! But I hope so much that it is good news x

DeeLite · 24/01/2012 07:23

Are your temps still above the line? If so, I think you are in with a very good chance. Ignore the IC that wasn't FMU. You are left with one positive and one negative. Given that false positives are rare this late, I am feeling pretty darned hopeful for you. It will be a long 24 hours waiting for your next FMU.

By the way, my brief light flow y'day was overstated and spotting has stopped but my bbt is down close to the coverline and I am BFN. Couldn't resist POAS notwithstanding the signs that AF is approaching.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 24/01/2012 07:35

I am 17 dpo today, so you would think that an FRER would show up by now.....right!?! But the IC is pink and a thick line so I don't think this can be an evap (unless it's being particularly evil!). Have just taken a Boots own (i know, i know, blue dye and all that) but a very faint second line came up within the 2 minutes. So now I have 2 BFN's and 2 possible BFP's!! Aaargh! I have also got a ClearBlue Digi, but I do not want to waste that on a BFN so if all is looking good I might take that on Friday morning!

Dee here is My Chart I did have a dip below the coverline but the last 2 temps have gone above. Aaargh. I also got really bad nausea on the train this morning, this never happens. Could be because I have not eaten though. Oh Dee sorry for the BFN, but as long as the witch stays away there is always hope.

Spitting seems to be easing a little and the cramps have gone as well. Just do not know what to think!!! Confused

festiemum · 24/01/2012 07:37

I agree with disco and dee - moo - false positives are extremely rare! Not sure why it's not showing up on the frer though. You know as well as I do that hcg doubles every 48 hours at this stage, so it's another horrible wait to test again I'm afraid! Or you could try another brand of test? Superdrug are supposed to be at least as sensitive as frer. Maybe a bit more, and they're cheap!

So hope this is it for you though! xxx

I was a good girl and didn't test today. I will tomorrow if af doesn't turn up.

dee when is your af due?

Lilliana · 24/01/2012 07:37

Cautious woo for moo :) Ignore the BFN not from FMU - I've heard the IC's are more sensitive and can pick up hormones before FR. I think the only thing you can do is keep testing with FMU until you get a BFP! That is FMU NOT this pm!!!!! (If you have the willpower) Have everything crossed for you moo, so hope this is it x

Hi everyone, sorry really late this am so will catch up with you all later, have a good day

festiemum · 24/01/2012 07:41

Cross posted there.

moo - it sounds like you are!!!!!!!!!! Only time will tell though I'm afraid, which is shitty, I know!

Cb digi in a couple of days sounds like a plan! xxxx
