That's such brilliant news Rusulka. Also Grin at your MiL being the possible cervix antagonist. That sounds like a great excuse to have some time-off from inlaws.

Moowoo I am 8 dpo and already testing daily even though I know it's ridiculous to be testing so early. I nearly did a second one today. I even PIAP but saw sense before I had opened the test wrapper.

I guess everyone is the same but every cycle around this time I really feel like this is definitely it. I get a feeling / sixth sense for it....which clearly turns out to be wrong each time. The madness peaks between about 8 dpo and 10dpo when AF arrives so off I go to stick my head in the clouds for the next two days.

Discolite · 19/01/2012 23:18

Ah Rusulka a heart beat! How superamazing! Jolly good news that. Do you feel a bit more pregnant now? And the stats from the leaflet sound really positive too.

Dee I know what you mean about madness. I don't test too early but I always seem to do my one test and then AF arrives. Maybe if I didn't test at all then AF wouldn't come?!

Moo I think the main thing to take from this cycle, even if it ends in AF is that you actually ovulated! To have 12 days of high temperatures is pretty convincing, so not only are you managing to ovulate on your own but soon you'll have a consultant giving you even more of a leg up, so I reckon it's a positive start to 2012 for you.

Well, I'm continuing to be a good girl and go to the gym. I'm hoping that that will help. But horrid little thoughts keep plaguing me now about maybe it's DP's sperm...I really hope not, he would be so upset (especially I think because he's adopted, so having a child who is genetically his means more in a way). Who knows. This is only the sixth cycle of well timed sex so that's not that long. And if it does happen this month I reckon it's because this time 64-74 days ago he'd just found out about his heart issues and was drinking a lot less.

Sorry for thinking out loud!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 20/01/2012 06:35

Oh Dee I know exactly how you feel! It's so hard not to especially with lovely strong FMU!! But must.......be........strong!!

Disco well done on going to the gym! I keep meaning to start going again but might just start doing yoga instead. And no apologies needed for thinking out loud, it's good to talk about things you can't always talk to people in RL about, you think away Grin I do hope that there is nothing wrong with his swimmers though and maybe the reduction in drinking etc will help. I do hope so.

Yey Ive made it to 13dpo and it's Friday - never gotten this far before!! I still wonder if the pill has anything to do with messing my hormones up though and my body is just adjusting to life without Confused I do hope so, makes TTC much easier when you ov every cycle :)

festiemum · 20/01/2012 07:53

rusulka -that is wonderful, wonderful news! I've had some sonographers with bloody awful bedside manners before - you do wonder how they can be so cold.

dee - I am working so hard not to do the whole poas everyday from about 10dpo, which is what I usually do! Af comes 12dpo anyway, so it's only 2 more days! Still, I'm only 7dpo, so that may all change come Monday!

disco - well done on gymming! They say healthy lifestyle helps for both partners. Dh is now on a health drive, after months of over-indulgence and no exercise, I'm hoping it might make his swimmers less sluggish too!

moo - that is brilliant that you've made it to 13dpo! I've had a sneaky look at your chart (/stalker) and it just looks amazing! It couldn't be more normal and ovulatory if it tried!

Rusulka · 20/01/2012 12:25

Disco I don't really feel it at all. It was nice to see the peanut yesterday, and when I lie on my front I can sort of feel 'something' there that isn't normally, but thanks to my mum (who didn't get morning sickness) it looks like I'm getting off scot-free too- and there's no better reminder of being pg than a daily hurl into the bowl. Not that I'm complaining, but I think I'll need to wait til I'm outwardly visible to really believe it. And with my belly, it's going to be a while!
Well done on going to the gym, I could never hack it.

Moo I bet it is the bloody pill still wanking with your system. It's great you're finally escaping from its clutches! FX for an egg every month from now on- at least one!

Dee don't feel guilty for excess POAS, especially if you can use ICs!

Festie I think she might have been a robot too. Humph. Thankfully she's in the EPU, so when I go for my 'normal' scans, hopefully it won't be her who does it!

Winnie81 · 20/01/2012 12:40

Well I am slowly hesitating on staying on the shuttle.

I gave in and POAS this morning. A faint line appeared! I'm going to test again tmrw or Sunday or both as I'm not convinced!

Will keep you posted x

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 20/01/2012 12:57

Ooooh Winnie fantastic news; just what this thread needed! Please don't feel you have to leave though.

I would not be able to wait until tomorrow - i'd be testing every hour Grin

eaglewings · 20/01/2012 16:19

Is my seat still free?!

I've got 7 days until I can test, why do the days suddenly last much longer?

Anyone had a fluttering feeling in their lower abdomen? It's the first time I've felt this even though I've been pregnant before. Maybe it's just wishful thinking or gas :)

festiemum · 20/01/2012 17:18

Yes, eagle - I have! Think it might be wind, as I'm resolutely not SS-ing this month! one sore boob, ravenous hunger and utterly debilitating exhaustion btw :o

Well done winnie - that's brilliant news! As moo says, just what we need!

I'm with you though eagle the 2ww is sooo long!

alexeliza · 20/01/2012 20:54

Sorry ladies that I haven't really been around, it feels like I dropped in to introduce myself to the group and then disappeared! However, I got back from Australia on Monday morning and have been trying to get over the jet lag since then, so haven't been logging onto the computer in the evenings.

In any event, I wanted to say congratulations to Rusulka and am keeping my fingers crossed for Winnie - fantastic news!!

Hopefully, we'll all be so lucky this year!!

alex

Countmyblessings · 21/01/2012 05:38

Well thank God for that scan rusulka, we all knew all would be well so thanks for confirming!!!!!!
Moowoo have everything crossed for you hope your dream comes true for u!
Winnie - have all crossed for you to positive thinking!!!
Alex - oh down under! I hear it does take a while to shake off those 12 hours time difference!
I'm here watching the tennis at this stupid o clock hour!!!!! I luv me some tennis though!
Hello everyone else hope your doing well at what ever stage cycle your on!!!! I'm here on a count down to the end of my AF right now!!!
Can't wait for it too be all over!!!!

Morning everyone,

Well an update ....... A definite BFP Grin Wink Grin Wink Grin Wink Grin Wink.

I have made sure to leave a big cloud of baby dust on the bus!!

I'm crossing my fingers, toes, arms and legs for some more BFPs Wink

eaglewings · 21/01/2012 09:46

Winnie, that's great news! Congratulations

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 21/01/2012 10:14

Winnie congratulations! Brilliant news.

Well looks like it's over for me; 14dpo, mildish cramping and a turtle revealed my worst fears, smallish amount of brown cm. On a positive note, I now know that I have a 14 day LP and i ov'd all on my own. Just hope that my body remembers what to do for next month. All this when my temp rose this morning and I thought I might have had a faint pos this morning as well Confused damn those ICs and their evil evaps.

I am going to console myself by making some cakes and gorging on some lovely food. Might even do some yoga :)

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Grin

festiemum · 21/01/2012 13:47

Well done winnie - that is indeed brilliant news!

moo - you know as well as I do that brown cm does not an af make, but time will tell I guess. As you say though, you have ovulated and have a 14 day lp- hooray!!!

I am 8 dpo and have had a convincing dip! But I am NOT ssing or getting any hopes up NO!

Hi count, hope af buggers off soon!

Hi alex! Hope the jet lag's easing off!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 21/01/2012 14:16

Indeed Festie you are correct just do not want to think it could be anything but AF! There is nothing on my knickety Knicks and nothing when I wipe, it was only when I was turtling to chart my CP/CM that I noticed a very small amount. Coupled with the cramping I am just assuming AF is wending her way slowly! I thought 14 dpo was too late for implantation or bleeding (of a good variety)

Ooooooh a temp dip at 8dpo sounds very promising festie! Hope to see a triphasic chart this month :o

Like you said, time will tell!

DeeLite · 21/01/2012 19:07

Congratulations Winnie. That's wonderful and very welcome news. It's been way too long since we've had a BFP. Hope you have a very happy and healthy pregnancy.

Moo, it sounds like we're in the same boat at the moment except that you managed a 14 day LP - well done! That's a really positive development. I'm on 10 dpo and have a small bit of brown / light pink spotting since this morning. I had a slight dip in BBT yesterday with temp going back up today but I'm not getting my hopes up as I've done that too many times and AF always starts with brown / light pink spotting for me.

Obviously there's about 5% of me that's still desperately googling BFP following implantation bleeding stories holding out some hope but I'm already tucking into the consolation chocolates bought by DH today Grin.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 21/01/2012 19:13

Well my spotting (if you can even call it that) has petered out to nothing really! Nothing when I wipe and nothing on my undergarments so dont know what to think!

Dee that sounds good for IB, especially with the temp rise as well! How long is your LP normally?

Discolite · 21/01/2012 20:42

Winnie congratulations! Fabulous news! I'm adding you to the stats in celebration!

I think you are just going to have to reserve judgment Moo! That sort of thing drives me mad. When are you going to test again?

Festie 8 dpo is quite a difficult time, it feels like you ovulated aaaages ago but it is still too soon to test. How are your children doing after all the hospital visits etc?

Dee I hope the spotting dries up!

I had a lower temperature yesterday, near the coverline but today it shot right up! 0.2 degrees higher than my first high temperature so it looks like I've ovulated. And my failsafe second method of diagnosing ovulating is in place - my nipples hurt so I'm feeling pretty confident that I did ovulate, albeit two days earlier than usual.

I have two thoughts running concurrently through my head:
"Why should I be pregnant this month?" and
"Why shouldn't I be pregnant this month?!".

Only 3dpo and already I'm not enjoying myself with the what ifs? 10 days to go until I test, argh!

DeeLite · 21/01/2012 22:02

Well done on ovulating Discolite. Hope your 2ww goes quickly and is full of symptoms that are borne out with a BFP!

Moo my LP is usually a measly 10 days so AF is due. Spotting is getting slightly heavier so hope is fast fading. What about you? Do you usually spot before AF? If not, I'm transferring my hopes for this cycle to you!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 21/01/2012 22:16

Ooh Disco excellent news on the ov!! As Dee said hope your 2ww is full of lovely symptoms and high temps and a BFP, of course :o

Dee in the past I have been straight in with full flow starting light but red and getting progressively heavier. With my anovultory cycles I would have a day or so of very dark and thick brown discharge before a light flow. This is neither of these things, there is nothing visible when I wipe or on my underwear, it's only when I turtle do I see anything and even then its only in extremely tiny amounts and not thick or globby. The cramping is on and off and very mild. It's weird. I do not want to think its anything positive in case AF is here in full flow in the morning!

Sorry that you are spotting heavier, you never know though it might stop!! I'll keep everything crossed for you :)

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 22/01/2012 09:16

Morning all!

Dee has the spotting eased at all today? I do hope so!

Festie hope that your temp rose today and that your charts on course for triphasic (not that it means your not pg if it doesn't though!)

I think my days are numbered. Massive temp drop just below coverline this morning yet still only spotting internally. Boobies are absolute agony (an AF sign, I know) and I have to say the cramping is a little more intense. On top of all this I think I'm coming down with something, have a sore throat and feel groggy. Day on the sofa for me then :)

Will update stats when AF arrives in full flow!!

eaglewings · 22/01/2012 09:25

Love the fact that we have somewhere safe to discuss the obsession with our knickers! I've still got 6 days until I'm obsessing. From last experience after a BFP the obsession then swaps to the wiping!

Here's to a spot free Sunday for everyone

festiemum · 22/01/2012 10:09

Ha ha eagle, you're not wrong!

My temp went back up a bit today moo - will need to see a couple more high temps before it looks really impressive though. So I am 9dpo and still determined to wait until af is due before testing (weds). Not too long to go then.... Hmm

moo you're still very much in the game! dee hope your spotting's abated. disco - I don't envy you, being right at the beginning of the 2ww- at least I can see the end in sight now! :o

Hope everyone's having a good weekend! :)

Notinmykitchen · 22/01/2012 10:19

Hi all,

Well I got back from holiday yesterday, I've had a skim through to catch up.

Moo I still have everything crossed that this could be it for you this month! As you have said, it is not over until the fat hag shows up in full force, and it doesn't sound like you are there yet!

Rusulka glad to hear all is well with the peanut, that must have been such a relief!

Dee I hope the spotting has gone, damned AF does love to tease!

Disco did you get the puppy? How has it settled in?

I hope the 2ww is going well for those in it, and AF is staying away!

I am feeling a little down today. I have the usual post holiday slump. Added to that, AF was due yesterday, it usually arrives almost to the minute, when I wake up 10 days after I get a positive OPK. Yesterday it didn't, and that has never happened before, so almost convinced myself that this month was it for me. Seems the bitch was just teasing me, and has arrived a day late! It feels so much worse to have AF arrive when I had got my hopes up, and started daydreaming about the baby I could have. Sad
