Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

Those rats are jolly well going to be smacked this cycle and AF shall have arrows, hatred and misery cast upon her! No argument shall be brooked on both points.

Rubbish thread title, apologies.

Morning brookers

whim how very very exciting! The brookers will take over the world......

generic I think the time off will be for the best, look after yourself. We will all be here for chat and Brew

feeling decidedly ropey today, sore boobs and a bit sick. But really don't want to get my hopes up.

I will be watching the midwife prog tonight, but am a bit worried it may be sad due to the time it is set in and so on. I can't cope with sad things!

Still in pjs here, thinking about what to do with the day. If anyone fancies making me a cake and sending it over that would be just lovely. Ta.

Xx

PopcornMouse · 15/01/2012 13:17

EWCM! 2 days earlier than normal, so it'll either be early ov or extra amounts od EWCM :o

But my flipping car battery has died :(

beangrower · 15/01/2012 13:19

Definitely the right move Generic. We want you well before you get updiffed again.

Midwife drama sounds tempting but I never feel it is wise to plonk DP in front of such things. He might find further reasons to avoid further pregnancies.

I am never sure of anything to do with my cycle I'm afraid Generic. I'm just wondering if the v weird pain I got on cd18 was ov. If the swimmers lasted from cd15 then I might get a surprise pg, or if the egg lasted til cd20... Alternatively I ov'd earlier and that was just some weird pain, unidentified, and there's still the 1:10 chance that I'm pg (which are the odds when your 40, so Dr Google tells me). I think I'm just getting longer bouts of PMT tbh.

Munx - we are getting our pom-poms warmed up.

Whimsi - we'll miss you. Except of course we won't really know the difference as you'll still be able to talk to us from there... if you're allowed as Mr Whimsi is clearly a spy. V exciting.

SweetieDoesIt · 15/01/2012 13:57

Wow Whims I didn't realise your DH was 007 wonders if he is a Daniel Craig alike??? loving the thought of a little Chad or Britney too Grin

Fx for you Munx - brooking for you my dear

Not sure about the Midwife thing either just don't get Miranda and DH would not be that interested I don't think. I have read the book the series is based on and if I remember correctly it is "gritty". Really looking forward to Sherlock though.

CD1 here bloody evil witch AF arrived this morning, knew she was on her way so expected it.

GreenOlives · 15/01/2012 14:18

I am very delicate today! Too much vodka and too little sleep I really need to remember I'm not a teenager any more Grin Party was fab though! Have just eaten a selection of high fat/high salt food in the hope that that will give me some energy to put on a dvd play with DS this afternoon

Will catch up with you ladies tomorrow when I will hopefully feel more human again!

beangrower · 15/01/2012 15:29

Goddarn it Sweetie - I have given AF a chinese burn so hopefully she'll eff off.

Thought you were a bit quiet Olives. Shhhh. Smile

Enjoy the goo, Pop.

blondemomentsahoy · 15/01/2012 16:31

I'm not came this morning :'( fucker!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/01/2012 18:21

Generic I am glad you are taking doc's advice. Hope you have a much better night tonight. Pizza and roast with crumble sounds immense. I made sooo much food last night that we are having the left overs tonight Grin

Munx I have everything crossed for you. You deserve a nice fat BFP Smile

Pop your new gadget must be responsible for this surely? Wink Hurrah fr the golden egg. Hope you got that battery charged.

Bean sod the 1:10 chance. You are preggers. Fact.

Sweetie how dare she show her face. This is the last time though. Mark my words.

Olives I hope you are feeling human again. Sounds like a good night was had though Grin

I am going to give the midwife thing a go. Followed by Sherlock. Hurrah for Sunday nights and a glass of vino Smile

Hope all are having a nice relaxing evening

Munx · 15/01/2012 18:30

(BFP) Shock

As you were........

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/01/2012 18:33

Oh Munx I knew it, I just bloody knew it!!! Amazing amazing news lovely, congratulations Grin Grin Grin

Now sit down, get your feel up and tuck into some cake!

Munx · 15/01/2012 18:45

Thank you, it's ridiculously early day though and given my history I am very very nervous and scared. But trying to remain hopeful.

I will be hanging around here awhile, definitely not ready to make the leap into antenatal!

Eeeeek!!!!!!

Munx · 15/01/2012 18:46

Early days, sigh.

BeedleTheBard · 15/01/2012 18:49

Ooh munx congratulations Grin Grin

olives hope the hangover has gone now - maybe an early night tonight?

Oh and whims how exciting for you both, and how badly-timed would your BFPbe this month!!!

sweetie sorry she turned up and spoiled your day

I was expecting AF today, but she hasn't arrived yet (I'm sure I'm tempting fate just by writing this). I haven't had a cycle longer than 25 days for nearly a year, and today is CD26. I'm still getting tiny amounts of pinky-brown CM when I examine the toilet paper wipe. Dare Iget my hopes up that I might be joining munx? Oh and Idid a test yesterday BFN, I'll try again in the morning if AF doesn't sneak up on me overnight.

beangrower · 15/01/2012 18:58

Munx - superchuffed for you my dear. This one's a sticker, no argument. Smile Smile Smile

Beedle - hope the boat you're in is the same - preggers! CD27 too early to test anyway.

Thanks Maybe - I like your style. 1 in 10 still better than 0 in 10 eh?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/01/2012 19:06

Definitely Bean, it's a shoe in Smile

Beedle things are looking good for you too!

Munx it's totally understandable you are nervous, but we are all here brooking for you!

Munx · 15/01/2012 19:14

Brooking like mad thing Beedle and Bean

Oh maybe I knew you knew Grin

Please please let this one stick.

SweetieDoesIt · 15/01/2012 19:20

Aw Munx many congratulations. All that SWI so paid off, you were such a trooper and a well deserved BFP is your reward. I do wonder if you may be further along than expected with all the positive OPK's. So pleased for you and Mr Munx, well done xxx

GenericDietCola · 15/01/2012 20:34

Munx - that's wonderful news - well done! I'm so pleased for you and I will pray and brook no argument that this one will stick.

Beedle you will get your BFP soon too!

Sweetie I'm sorry to hear AF showed her ugly head. This month will be the one though, I'm sure.

Bean quite right re 1 in 10 vs 0 in 10! You are still in with a decent chance.

DH didn't want to watch midwife prog so I'm recording it! Sherlock soon though.

Biscuitsandtea · 15/01/2012 20:55

Just popping my head in to say well done Munx Smile

I knew there was something about all those +ve opks!

Totally understand you feeling nervous but we're ready for you whenever you want to dip a toe in the vomitorium. Well, I mean we're ready and eagerly awaiting ALL of you!

And Beedle hoping you're on your way over too Smile

Biscuitsandtea · 15/01/2012 20:56

Oh and I meant to say too - this one is sticking for sure - I'll accept no argument about it. Fact.

ScrambledSmegs · 15/01/2012 22:55

Yay Munx! So happy for you Grin Brooking for you that all will be well and you will be greeting a minimunx in Sept/Oct. Damn, my brain is mush, what's your due date then?!

Sweetie I'm sorry AF got you. Next month for sure! (and blonde? Sorry, I think you had a couple of typos and I wasn't sure what you meant. Hope you're ok)

Beedle and bean am brooking my socks off for you!

Hope you're feeling better now Green.

What did you all think of Sherlock? It left DH very annoyed, he just sat there afterwards saying but how? How did he do it?! I think he's feeling a touch cheated! I loved it but that goes without saying Grin. Love a bit of Benedict Cumberbatch...

BeedleTheBard · 16/01/2012 05:23

I so wanted to come on here and say yippee BFP, but instead the evil witch caught me this morning Sad

But I'm still brooking for your sticky bean munx

Munx · 16/01/2012 06:38

Oh Beedle Sad well the old hag better realises this is the last time .....

Thanks again for all the brooking, I really need it. Still terrified. By my reckoning this would be a late September baby.

Lots of brooking for all of you and I hope you have a decent Monday.

I fell asleep during Sherlock.......Blush

PopcornMouse · 16/01/2012 08:50

MUNX! So all those +OPKs were BFPs! Bloody knew it :o Well done you deserve it. Here's brooking to the wee chestburster bean :)

Sounds like a very successful weekend, Olives :o

Generic roast with crumble? Will you adopt me? :o

Sorry AF got you in the night Beedle :(

I've taped it smegs as DH has missed the others, so I'll be watching it Wednesday when he's back at work :o I hope it wasn't too disappointing. All I keep thinking is, what on earth will they do when they run out of books? They can't discontinue Sherlock Shock

SHIT! I got a peak today (CD15) and quite a strong OPK line ? I'll either ov today or tomorrow, much earlier than usual (CD18-26) and as a result we've not dtd since CD12 Shock I need to jump DH this evening and so I've my sexiest undies on under scraggy jeans. Might need to rethink that combo :o

GreenOlives · 16/01/2012 09:47

Morning!
Yay, yay, yay Munx what fabulous news Grin The mammoth SWI was worth it!

Karate chops to AF for Sweetie & Beedle, how dare she show up uninvited again. Wine for you two.

Weyhey Popcorn the shag dictator says shag so maybe just whip off the scraggy jeans as DH arrives home and let the sexy undies do the talking if you know what I mean Wink

I am also not listening to the Sherlock talk, DH and I were in bed by 9pm last night due to our hangover extreme tiredness so haven't watched it yet. I also recorded the midwife thing so may give that a whirl too.

Still feeling a bit tired today, why is it that a hangover takes sooo long to recover from these days Still, it doesn't stop me drinking Grin CD21 here, usual sore norks but I do have some stabbing pains low down in my tummy - implantation obviously Wink

Big waves to all the brooking gang, hope it's a good week.

TTFN xx
