I've just got back from UCH visiting my lovely friend who has been going through operations, ectopics, miscarriages and IVF for over 13 years and has finally won two lovely baybees. All doing well. She would have been an ace BESH (she is now 40). Of course I hope it won't take us all so long and she had very specific medical issues but it made me feel very warm and hopeful and emotional.
