Shite sorry sherylin, took me so long to type that we crossed. It's a headfuck and no mistake, completely get you but utter crap at advice, being as how advice required at this juncture is really some kind of magical guarantee through the interwebs. I do remember having to wait tillat least 6 days after I was due on to get a + with molette, but I can't remember which brand it was. How soon can you wrangle a scan?At least it woyld give you something to aim towards? Meanwhile, come and have a slice of my damn fine cherry pie

KatAndKit · 16/11/2011 18:27

Sorry laura , tesco is one of the very few brands of test I have not studied in detail. Have only ever done one of them, and it was a bfn.

How far should you be along by now. Is it worth doing one of the conception indicator tests? I know they are evil but they might give you either hope or insight into what is going on.

It is shitty, you are not wrong there. I am surprised that with all this bleeding you can't get yourself seen at the EPU? perhaps the two day apart hcg blood test is needed.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/11/2011 19:25

I don't know either but have a
I agree getting a test that says 'pregnant' with numbers may help. Tesco tests have never been my friend but then none of them have but I don't think they're very sensitive.

LauraPalmer · 16/11/2011 19:26

I don't know of this conception indicator test of which you speak, Kat ...?

The spotting has all remained brown - so I haven't tried to push the EPU scan. Should I? Would it be too early at 4+6?

Hope I'm not killing fred...

OP posts:
LauraPalmer · 16/11/2011 19:28

I did get a positive on the CBD showing '1-2' pregnant - is this what you mean by a numbers test Faithy ?

Am I just being stoopid and dramatic and in need of a manly fist upside the head???!

OP posts:
LauraPalmer · 16/11/2011 19:30

Hopping on tube but really grateful to 'talk it out' a bit with y'all.

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/11/2011 19:38

Yes I think that's what Kat means too...the cbd with conception indicator that says how many weeks you are. When did that say 1-2?
I would also suggest you get medical advice just for reassurance.
I am glum. I am going to eat ice cream.

MadameBoo · 16/11/2011 19:53

LP This is what this fred is for. This kind of hand holding has happened before too. Please to stop apologising, ok?

Still keeping faith for ya, but no harm would be done by a chat with your GP would it?

Yet Northey remains AWOL......Hmm

InTheSunshine · 16/11/2011 21:31

I agree with Boo pliz to see your GP who may help to put your mind at rest. Don't worry about posting in here. We are after all BESH. Barren Evil Selfish Hags. We know what it's like to menkul. All the time.

KatAndKit · 16/11/2011 21:37

A scan before 6 weeks might well be fairly pointless. The EPU should be able to do the hcg doubling over two days blood tests. If the level goes down then it is a chemical pregnancy. If it goes up but doesn't double in 2-3 days it needs investigating to check it is in the right place. If it doubles every two days you should expect to see a heartbeat on the scan at 6-7 weeks.

When did you get the 1-2 result? Do another one perhaps and see if it has gone up to 2-3, it should happen by a week after your first 1-2 ideally.

You really are not being stupid to worry. Get it checked out is what I think. If you have any pain with the spotting then that applies all the more. It is totally reasonable to want answers to what is going on.

InTheSunshine · 16/11/2011 21:45

Very well put Kat

Ariesgirl · 16/11/2011 21:57

Kat knows everything innit?

Sorry LP, I know very little, but am here for the hand holding etc

MadameBoo · 16/11/2011 22:23

Good call Kat.

MadameBoo · 16/11/2011 22:24

Anyway Rie you know loads of things about things. You can sail a boat and everything.

Ariesgirl · 16/11/2011 22:25

Easy chief. Don't out me.

MadameBoo · 16/11/2011 22:47

I won't.

MadameBoo · 16/11/2011 23:25

I am going to read my book in 7 minutes and I am waiting for Riebie to notice the hilarious thing I have posted because I am so damn FUNNEE.

Northey · 17/11/2011 00:04

Sorry for AWOLnosity (long weekend away). But not as sorry as I am about the spotting, LP. It's just fecking horrid. So bloody stressful. And you practically end up with a UTI from refusing to go to the loo for fear of seeing blood. Have a boob grope. For comfort.

Northey · 17/11/2011 00:13

Working my way back methodically through pages of deathless prose/tit groping (delete as appropriate)...

So tired, decline to get out of bed for work. Think they'll miss me?!

CaveMum · 17/11/2011 07:29

Morning ladies. Feeling Sad Blush and a teeny bit Angry (at myself): after all the logistics of getting HWHNN back last night we had sechs fail. It all started well, massage, soft lighting, sechsy undies, but, ahem, didn't reach the desired conclusion.
I feel awful for HWHNN, he had to get up at 4am so that he could leave on time to get back to work.
On the positive side, temperatures indicate I've not ovulated yet so I'm crossing fingers, toes and tubes that I can hold out till the weekend. Of course it may all be a moot point and I may not ovulate at all. First cycle of Clomid is full of unknowns.

Stupid non-functioning ovaries Sad

AuntieDoris · 17/11/2011 08:02

Morning ladies. I have nasty puffy eyes because I got really upset last night. Was after I realised that this time last year two of my friends had just announced their pregnancies and of course now they have a baybee win and I have fuck all. I am trying to decide whether to go private for my initial referral to fertility, at least to get the ball rolling. I am fed up with waiting.

In other, happier news, I lost 3.5lbs this week :)
