I was a huge Hardy fan. It might be time for a reread of some his.

I love real books too and have resisted an ebook for that reason but we are running out of space on our bookshelves and they are handy for the commute and travelling.

LP that is lovely. A well deserved win for a patient BESH. :)

Scab is a vile word and incredibly outdated. It's not the 1970s now.

Careful though Bugs, I made the mistake once of discussing a spat I was having with someone somewhere else and she somehow followed me in here and it all got very nasty :(

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 11/11/2011 17:12

well I've had to hide an aibu fred cos almost everyone was slagging off nurses. I should not go into aibu!

AlpinePony · 11/11/2011 17:14

bugs Urgh, I've had a run-in with her someone on mn because she verbally and emotionally abuses her mentally ill daughter. :( Like what aries said. Although in positive spat news - that's how we landed londonlottie - I offended her elsewhere but now I realise she's rather nice.

LauraPalmer · 11/11/2011 17:16

InTheSunshine · 11/11/2011 17:59

We don't have a Waitrose round these parts. Is it just like M&S or posher?

Congrates LP not that you probably have a fecking clue who I am :-)

LauraPalmer · 11/11/2011 18:41

I didn't know Waitrose was posh...I just like really good dark chocolate. (Today it's Green & Blacks extra dark, Cavelina )

So I must say that I'm ver impressed that all of you are chatting it up on other freds AND getting the boot in AIBU. I posted there once and ran away like a scared kitten. I'm too slow anyway.

What's "t'other place", Bugs ?

When I saw the word Hardy I immediately thought Hardy Boys. I was a Nancy Drew girl myself. On the book front, I just finished 'When God Was A Rabbit' - good read. Now am in the midst of 'The Feast' by Anthony Sher and it is so dark that I think I might have to take a break from it for the next few weeks.

Also, somehow I missed the whole ESH height thingy (I've been distracted)...I'm 5'7ish - the perfect middle of a Faithy and Northy sandwich.
