Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

I heart my iPad. I have an iphone4, an iPod touch and then DH and I went Halfs on an iPad last Xmas as a present to each other. It's the best £400 I ever spent, although I don't like MN'ing on it, I prefer the laptop for that.

I'm past the 2ww now. In fact I'm 5 days late. No AF still but no BFP either I'm in no man's land it seems

Tequila maybe it's the implantation taking a bit longer? I think the pg tests recommend that if you don't have a positive a week after AF is due to see a doc. But perhaps you'll be like Clandy and have no AF for awhile then get a random BFP? Who knows?

Had some more crampiness but feels like the AF kind. Since my period has been weird the last 3 months I think AF is just going to show up early

Took my little sister out to eat this eve and had a chat about high school and Glee, felt so lovely to not think about Real Life ishoos and pretend to be 15 with her!

Ok Ladies, I have a question for you :)

OD day is a week tomorrow (11th). When would be best to swi? How often? Would Monday, Wednesday and Friday be good? Then Sunday and Tuesday too so I should catch it if I do ovulate?

If so, DH has a gig on Friday in Ramsgate again so should I try to catch him before we go out? It's all a bit exciting! Not doing OPK yet as DH wants to wait.

Tequila I'm so sorry about your AF I thought perhaps you'd done it this time.

Wanna I'd say every other day perhaps for this whole cycle (if you can manage it - realize that makes you all bunnies ) as you don't know for 100%. otherwise I'd go at it loads next wednesday thru mon.

Sparkle I did think that when I was writing out the stats!! Are you planning to test early or wait to see if AF is late first?

I hate the 2ww too - actually glad to be going back to work after 2 days off, I seem to forget about TTC while there which is nice.

I have a general question - since my cycle is so long (31-35 days on average) do you think I could fudge my last period date when I go to the docs to confirm a pregnancy? If I give them my actual date, (using this month as an example) I would be due on Jul 17-18 as far as DATES go - but using my conception date it's actually 7-10 days later than that, and would be July 23-28(ish).

I'm tempted to say that my LMP is 7 days later than it actually was to more closely mimic the 'average' that they go by. Would this be dumb or clever? Probably dumb

I'm totally lost now with who's doing what, even me! I am spectacularly symptom free but have 2 spots and was an evil cow in school today, so I presume AF is going to show up more or less when I guessed, this weekend. Just in time to see DP

I'm so preoccupied with wedding planning, plus getting married in July/August kind of clashes with being pg right now, so I think we'll carry on ttc but not put it at the forefront, iyswim. Might still be tempted to opk just because I've got them...

I have a question actually - if you are meant to have swi for a couple of days before OV, but you don't know when ov is going to be until it shows up on an opk, how on earth does that work???

I too have been a moody mare Cauldron. I was having hot sweats last night in bed too which is a sure sign AF is due to arrive. I did a FR test which was obviously a BFN. Im actually ok about it all tbh. I know our chances increase each month. I hope AF doesn't keep me hanging this month!
How exciting about your wedding! You are more than likely to fall pregnant when you have other things on your mind!
