Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

Lots of love, Pip xx

Ah don't be sad. We're all in this together, we're all here for each other and you can lean on us anytime Smile

Vinolover · 31/10/2011 21:43

I think we are all going through a flat period by the sounds of it :( Im so sure it's not worked this month so I just want AF to come so I can crack on again! Patience really is not my strong point Wink

Cherry moving is so stressful, I feel your pain! I really hope it will be plain sailing for you!

Im the same as you secret. I have the nausea and cramps and I have the most bloated tummy but deep down I know it's from last weeks bug :(

Monday is just about over now and tomorrow is another day... Chin up all :)

Vinolover · 31/10/2011 21:43

Same boat

Tequilamockinbat · 31/10/2011 22:04

I'm off to bed, hopefully AF won't turn up during the night, I'm going to POAS again in the morning Smile

Cheeser · 31/10/2011 22:13

Evening. Sorry to hear that the mood is flat, don't despair cherry. Moving house really is the devil's hobby and bound to take it out of anyone. For what it's worth, I find if I'm distracted from something and have a million other things to deal with, the thing I wanted in the first place ends up turning up despite solely focusing on other things. If you know what I mean.

Have had two glasses of wine and suddenly feel I'm making no sense whatsoever!

I tried on wedding dresses tonight and felt a fat frumpy mess. Not sure whether to go ahead and get one now as I could be pregnant by the wedding. Confused

MinkyMoodles · 31/10/2011 22:38

Tequila good luck for the morning :0) everything crossed!

Chin up all, we've got a fab little support group to pick eachother up when needed!

Struggling to keep my eyes open, :0(

Sweet dreams

MM xx

Sarah5656 · 31/10/2011 23:07

Good luck Tequila, hoping you get a Big big big fat positive Smile

Am due on tomorrow, thinking AF will arrive, but keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't Smile

Sarah5656 · 31/10/2011 23:14

Am never late for AF, like clock work, but it will be just my luck it bloody well turns up late just so I can get my hopes up Angry
I obviously really don't want it to turn up but if it's going to anyway would rather it be on time to save the false hope ( and the hundreds of test's) think I'm actually addicted to POAS.
Today I brought a clear blue ovulation test machine, it was on clearance at boots for £25, I've left the packaging on hoping I can eBay it as it won't be needed Wink

MinkyMoodles · 31/10/2011 23:24

Fingers crossed you get a big mahoosive positive Sarah in the morning and AF stays away!!

Is the Clearblue thingy the one thats usually around £65? (On Amazon)

Fishkiss · 01/11/2011 00:12

Wow Sarah for a CBFM for only 25!! What a steal.

I've been feeling flat today too - 12-hour day at work it turned out to be, then took a nap and woke up feeling horrendous. Just bloated, gas pains, some heartburn, just not feeling well at all. And like the rest of you, I know it's from a bug and not a bun Sad

Ah well, here's hoping Tuesday is better. Glee returns after a 4-week hiatus, so I'm well pleased about that [hgrin]

Fishpond · 01/11/2011 00:17

New name again

Maybe one day I'll find one I can stick with [hgrin]

Sarah5656 · 01/11/2011 06:52

The lady in boots scanned the wrong bar code first and it came up saying £99, so a bit of a bargain at £25! Grin

Tequilamockinbat · 01/11/2011 07:47

BFN Sad

AF is never this late, so where is she? Angry

MinkyMoodles · 01/11/2011 08:43

Aww ladies, keep positive!

Happy birthday Caldron Heres hoping you have a fab day!

MM xx

Vinolover · 01/11/2011 08:57

Oh tequila Im so sorry :( How late is she? There is still hope. As I keep saying, it took 6 days to get the faintest of faint lines with my DS. I ended up spending £50 that weekend on tests because I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me!

Yes, Happy birthday cauldron :)

Hope everyone is feeling better today :)

Sarah5656 · 01/11/2011 09:00

Tequila- keep positive, I have read on MN that some ladies have not tested positive till week or two after AF due Smile
Maybe try a different brand of test.
What brand are you using?

Tequilamockinbat · 01/11/2011 09:43

Happy birthday cauldron!

She's 4 days late. Thanks Vino, your story is giving me hope Smile

I'm using clearblue digital tests. Although have ran out now and next 1 will be a cheapy HCG stick thingy

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 01/11/2011 09:43

sorry to hear everyone is feeling flat. I think the 2ww is aptly named - its a boring wait for crappy AF, especially when you're not feeling any signs whatsoever (like me!)

I agree with Vino, lets just get the next AF over and done with so we can try again! Especially armed with my new opk's.

Cheeser when are you getting married? DP and I went out for dinner last night and had a lovely chat about what sort of thing we wanted. We're hoping DM will be fobbed off happy with a big party a couple of days after the Main Event... Smile

Nice norks skirt cauldron Grin

Vinolover · 01/11/2011 12:40

Tequila I heard that CB didital are not as sensitive as regular tests? I could be wrong but it certainly may be worth buying a regular one and seeing?

I've been having those symptoms secret but mine have vanished now :( Boobs only hurt from me prodding them to see if they hurt and even my bloatedness has gone down, bugger. I thought I was going to meet my porridge again yesterday after I had finished it but have been fine since. Roll on the weekend!!

Bet Mr Cauldron likes those tassles Wink

Tequilamockinbat · 01/11/2011 12:44

Really vino? Ok so looks like a trip to Boots tonight for me.

Will test again in the morning with a different brand.
