possiblemaybebaby · 20/10/2011 20:26

Why thank you Cake, I hope you are right Grin

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 20:34

dream I'm sure its 100% fine - could it be really bad wind? (that can be crippling ime) - but if you're worried, can you phone the EPU in the morning?

DrMunkenstein · 20/10/2011 20:36

Hope you are OK dream, could it be ligament stretching?

Biscuitsandtea · 20/10/2011 20:36

Dream - weird that you say that - I've had cramping today too - and again first time I've had it. I might be joining you in being a bit wobbly too! Confused

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 20:36

PS - there is a horrible bug going about atm (which I and DH have had, and someone else on this thread mentioned a good few pages back) which includes nasty cramping, could you be coming down with something? :-/

Biscuitsandtea · 20/10/2011 20:38

Urgh I hope not :(

Any other early symptoms of it? Like unexplained tiredness which DH and I (and DS I think) seem to have had all week?

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 20:39

Yes..... I was in bed by 8.30 the night before my cramps started. DH was on nightshifts so he was cream crackered anyway!

Biscuitsandtea · 20/10/2011 20:44

Oh.....

What about achey knees? I've had very achey knees.....

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 20:48

Ha ha ha, no my knees have not been achey!

possiblemaybebaby · 20/10/2011 20:54

Dream i totally missed your post, I'm so sorry. This is not a miscarriage, it is either:

a) Wind. See Ninja
b) Stretching
c) Bug (which I hope it isn't)

You are going to be absolutely fine my lovely. Maybe a nice warm bath?

Loooopy · 20/10/2011 21:00

popcorn lol at you thinking 5am is early....just wait till you have a DC, at one stage we would have given anything for our DS to let us sleep till 5am!

and re dreaming you had such a big bump you couldn't get behind your steering wheel....that was me for real from last sept - last nov!! and cos i have short legs, i couldn't move the seat back else i couldn't reach the pedals!

annoyed re house viewing, they don't want to buy, they want a big kitchen diner. mine has a separate dining room. P'd off though as it's clear from floorplans on right move that i don't have a kitchen diner. Busted a gut getting it looking immaculate and decluttered. And for nothing. And in the process of tidying the front garden, my gardener smashed a window on my car. So now have the hassle of getting that fixed :(

dreamfeeder · 20/10/2011 22:15

oh biscuits, I'm sure like me it's your hormones not your baby that's the problem . I'm sure it could also be stretching... It's very sharp pains, making me cry out sometimes it's so sudden (and scaring DD who I was holding!) but gone away at the min... Almost feels like a sharp kicking form a baby, but they're way too little to be feeling that so I know it's not that.

Happy rat smacking maybe! I hope this was one abberant month with spotting, and youll never think of it after your BFP this month.

After all, the bit I did manage to read on this thread said this month was a free-for-all BFP month, with ninja leading the charge, right?!

loooopy, I agree, I used to celebrate if DD slept til 5am. Her sleep is off the wall right now. 2 nights ago, she woke at 10:45pm, and I kept putting her back in her cot where she'd only sleep for maybe 10 min before waking again til about 2 when I gave up and sat up and let her sleep on my chest... My dad's theory is she Knows Something's Up. Hmm. And only mummy would do. No daddy thank you. That drove me mad about house viewers too. We kept getting 'the road's too busy' with our old house. Yes, it;s on an A road, that's clear on right move, you knew that before you viewed it you morons!!!!!!!!! We swapped ours in the end in a 15 minute impulse house swap when I was 39 weeks pg and moved in when DD was 5 weeks old. Magic. Best thing we ever did. Still refer to the buyer of ours as Father Christmas Grin

CakePigeon · 20/10/2011 22:35

dream and biscuits hope you are both ok. Hopefully it's just growing pains in your wonderful wombs Smile

My left boob is tender - is that the pregnant one? I forget Grin

Imps7 · 20/10/2011 22:44

Dream maybe the twins are having a bit of a punch up? Deffo not a miscarriage, Brook No Argument on that front.

Muchos annoying re: house viewers Looopy. When we were house hunting before buying this place I scrutinised every detail of every potential house on Rightmove and if it didn't tick one or more of the key boxes then we wouldn't view it. Why waste everyone's time? It also surprises me how many people want an open plan kitchen diner - we have people over for dinner loads but I am such a messy cook that the thought of entertaining in amongst all the pots, pans, spillages, veg peelings etc etc fills me with horror! I can definitely see the attraction if you're a very tidy cook though.

Scrambled you do indeed sound like a domestic goddess! Your day sounds like my idea of heaven - cooking, cleaning and playing with DC.

2 of my friends gave birth today! One (second DC) gave birth three hours after her first contraction, half an hour after arriving at hospital, the other (third DC) had an unplanned home birth and then had to go to hospital for stitching - she's there overnight and hasn't been allowed out of bed since getting to hospital! Her first two DC were both early and a piece of cake to deliver (so she says) so this one (2 weeks overdue) has come as a bit of a shock I think. Can't wait for the first cuddles this weekend!

Right, night all - have a nice sleep. Good luck with your second temp tomorrow Maybe - and remember - Night Wees are okay!

Imps7 · 20/10/2011 22:54

Yes Cake, remember:

Right Boob for Preggo;
Left Boob for not.

Unless your left boob is hurting, in which case it's:

Left Boob for Preggo;
Right Boob for not.

And further unless both boobs are hurting, in which case it's:

Both Boobs for Preggo.

And lastly, unless neither boob is hurting, in which case it's:

No Boobs for Preggo.

Hope that helps.

Imps7 · 21/10/2011 09:44

Eeek, girls - need a bit of help - a friend of mine has given birth this morning (3 weeks early!) - a lovely little girl called Ismene - not sure how to pronounce that though - any ideas? Don't want to sound ignorant/rude/like an idiot when I speak to them! I'm thinking Iz-mean, but could be Iz-meaner? Or maybe Ish, rather than Iz? Pretty name, either way!

Hope you're all well this morning. I'm working from home which means that I have obviously started the day by making biscuits. Anzac biscuit anyone?

Solars · 21/10/2011 10:00

mmmm biscuits!!!

Imps I would be thinking Is-MEH-neh?? But perhaps even ask your friend how they pronounce it, i'm sure they wouldn't mind. It is a pretty name by the way.

Imps7 · 21/10/2011 10:03

Ooh you could be right Solars! I think I may wait for them to say it first :)

PopcornMouse · 21/10/2011 10:06

I thought Is-MEH-ney too - but I'm sure they'd be ok for you to ask (else why pick something so unusual? lol)

Temp dip today, snot a proper AF-is-imminent dip-dip, but my temps are coming down :(

How are you both this morning, dream & biscuits?

Far, how did the fanjocam go? :o

Imps7 · 21/10/2011 10:11

I've found a couple of websites which advise that it's "Iss-meeny" - a Greek name apparently! I think I may well ask if they don't get in there and say it first!

What time is your fannycam Far? Good luck with that one!

Ignore those temps Popcorn - I hear that they've started siding with the rats - not to be trusted at all. Here, have a funny looking biscuit or 20

Solars · 21/10/2011 10:12

oh yes, hope everyone is ok and good luck with the fanjocam Farfalla

sorry for a very brief post as need to get to a meeting, will hopefully catch up later...

possiblemaybebaby · 21/10/2011 10:18

Ah, Imps what lovely news to wake up to, and a pretty name. I wouldn't know how to pronounce it either, but I am sure they won't mind you asking.

How you doing Far fannycam a-go-go Grin

That doesn't mean the end of the line Popcorn

2nd temp was a little higher this morning Grin

I too have the day off, and I shall also be baking Smile

PopcornMouse · 21/10/2011 10:25

:o maybe it's addictive!!

Mmmmmmm funny looking biscuits :d
That reminds me, I have a half-batch of coconut and dark chocolate refridgerator cookies in the freezer, I might have to go and bake a few........
