And so it begins again.....

OP posts:
BabySade · 20/10/2011 09:24

Waves to Have its so nice to see you again, here have some Thanks

Maybe I though I was going to get my BFP a few months ago as I did a OPK the day AF was due & it was positive BUT it was not darker than the line. I'm getting a bit excited over here on your behalf Grin

Im 2 DPO Dizzy so no BFP for me for a while Sad

I've got all of Jamie's books. I never saw any of the GBBO, what channel was it on? I might try to track it down online.

I'm away for a few days as I'm going to a wedding. (am dreading seeing an old friend who I haven't seen for 7 years, she put a 12 week scan photo up on FB yesterday) I'll check in if I get any wifi. I fully expect a few BFP ladies Wink

BabySade · 20/10/2011 09:26

Oh Popcorn that stupid pee stick, it's just too early. Keep brooking.

shinyblackgrape · 20/10/2011 09:59

Oh popcorn - it must be too early to test. Definitely try again tomorrow x

Baby - I didn't see any GBBO either but hoping it is online too. Am sure it will be.

Hope the wedding isn't too awful. x for you too.

DrMunkenstein · 20/10/2011 10:20

Too early popcorn and clearly a defective stick, spirits up we will all brook hard and try again in. A few days.

I bring banana and choc chip muffins and a vat of fresh decaff coffee.

DrMunkenstein · 20/10/2011 10:20

And good luck with the wedding baby it will be you soon sweets.

CakePigeon · 20/10/2011 10:42

munk those muffins sound delicious. Just the thing for a cold me standing on a freezing train platform.

popcorn i thought we agreed Friday!!! This is what you get for disobeying us, tomorrow will be different Grin

I'm 9 dpo and no symptoms whatsoever. How disappointing Angry stupid body!

DrMunkenstein · 20/10/2011 10:54

It is so cold today! Hope train turns up soon.

You are glowing though, a symptom surely?

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 10:58

I can't bake but love to cook, I love Bill Granger :)

I don't know, Munk & Popcorn, I'm 11DPO so countdowntopregnancy reckons 75% of women would get some degree of a bfp by now. I sort of expected it tbh, as we only managed to dtd once in the 3 days before ovulation.

DH randomly asked if I was ok and I started sobbing my wee heart out but then the cleaner came before I could tell DH (he is oblivious to the existence of such things as "cycles" so had no idea AF was due), so poor DH thinks I'm stressed about the house (it needs some more effing work doing to it) and has said not to worry, he will take care of it all. The words "cloud" and "silver lining" spring to mind tee hee :o

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 10:59

Agree with Munk, the absence of any symptoms is clearly a symptom in and of itself :o

DrMunkenstein · 20/10/2011 11:07

Aw popcorn don't give up, it's not over yet.

And if not this month, then next!

CakePigeon · 20/10/2011 11:18

I agree with munk, popcorn you are clearly in the special 25% rather than the boring majority Grin

Thank you for the blooming comment Smile although I got up this morning at a time that started with a 5 so I don't feel it !

farfallarocks · 20/10/2011 11:20

Ah bless for lovely DH's!!

11DPO is way too early!!

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 11:25

...so is 5am! I was unaware such a time existed Shock

farfallarocks · 20/10/2011 11:30

p.s. I had a dream last night that I had a massive bump (it was getting in the way at work and I could not reach my key board)

I have only ever dreamt of BFPs not big bumbs so obviously I am interpreting it as A SIGN Grin

Only 24 hours to go to the fanny cam where they are going to say, why Mrs Farfalla, did you know you were 12 weeks pregnant I am quite curious to see what my womb looks like and I shall be having stern words with it to make it more welcoming to guests in future.

possiblemaybebaby · 20/10/2011 12:37

Popcorn I am still brooking absolutely no argument whatsoever for you. Stupid arsing pee sticks.

GBBO was on BBC2 for all those who asked. I LOVE baking. Just in case you hadn't all realised...

Thanks Baby I don't know whether to be excited that mauybe I do ovulate after all, and last month was just plain weird, or whether I do have PCOS which is why it was positive. So am going to do a few OPKs over the next few days and see if they turn negative....

Far that is most definitely a sign. Are you excited about fanny cam tomorrow? I had a dream that I was preggo, and had literally 20 positive pee sticks. It was very real.

possiblemaybebaby · 20/10/2011 12:40

Oh, and I started charting today! Even though I had to get up and pee in the night, there was no keeping it in Grin

Imps7 · 20/10/2011 12:57

Oooh Maybe HIGH FIVE for your first temp! What was it??? Let me guess....36.38??

Popcorn, 11 DPO is waaaaay to early. Even the nicest pee stick will tell you that. And don't forget that a lot of that 75% will have got their ovulation day wrong so could well be 14 DPO etc without realising. Not even Fertility Friend will get the Ov date right all the time, particularly if people have fluctuating temperatures.

Hello Have! Hope you're okay. And good to hear from you too Late - are you that far gone already??!

I'm a little bit suspicious that I may be ovulating today, 2-3 days early...I felt queasy in the shower this morning, am having cramps and ooooh so much pant snot. This is a little concerning cos we've only shagged Sunday pm and Tuesday pm so far - OH was "too tired" last night (pathetic). He says he'll be well up for one tonight though so if I have popped my egg already it won't be the end of the world (unless he's a big fat bumhead and is too tired again tonight ... arg am getting worked up just thinking about it! Calmez-vous Imps, calmez-vous. Arg, now I'm talking to myself. I think I'd better go.)

possiblemaybebaby · 20/10/2011 13:05

It was 36.4 Imps I was quite pleased. DH is slightly bemused by the whole thing. Bless.

Hurrah for early ovulation! Don't worry, there will be enough swimmers in there already, and an egg can last for a little while once laid, so all will be well Grin

Imps7 · 20/10/2011 13:12

36.4, eh - wow, I'm impressed Grin Hope you, er, got to grips okay with the taking of said temp!

TheLittleFriend · 20/10/2011 13:20

Sorry Imps, but had to laugh at your oh potentially being a big fat bumhead tonight - I hope he's not and he is ready for action!

OP posts:
possiblemaybebaby · 20/10/2011 13:26

Grin Imps I was quite impressed too. I did indeed , you know, get it right shall we say Blush

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 13:27

far Oooo fannycam, that sounds painful interesting! What do they check for? :)

I have pg dreams too, last week I dreamed I was so mahoosive I couldn't get my fat arse my bump in my car to drive :o

maybe I don't think midnight pottybreaks matter, you just have to had 2 hours unbroken sleep (I think). I can't get through a single night without needing the loo and it doesn't seem to matter :O

possiblemaybebaby · 20/10/2011 13:35

Ah, that's great Popcorn, thanks. Are you feeling more chipper today? I hope so Smile

Solars · 20/10/2011 14:24

Afternoon ladies

Dizzy I will definitely be checking out justsnipe, thanks for that tip. Really do want to get my hands on that lens for a bargain - I do love a good bargain. Hope you are feeling better today.

Bartlet hope you feel better very soon and I didn't realise that the egg could theoretically hang around for up to 5 days after ovulation, this news is not going to go down well with DH !!

You have definitely tested too early Popcorn, I'm sure you'll find an agreeable pee stick tomorrow, look forward to hearing about it. I like Bill Granger too, I've also just started watching the series by Sophie Dahl, which is quite good.

Well done on the taking temps Maybe

Imps my DH too can be a big fat bumhead on occasions, I sympathise, whatever happened to the days when it was me saying 'ermm not tonight love, i'm tired'

Good luck at the wedding Baby hope your friend isn't too in your face about her pregnancy.

The only thing I have to report is that SWI has begun in the solars household!

PopcornMouse · 20/10/2011 15:08

Yes maybe thanks for asking :) feeling a bit more positive now. If not this month, then twill be the next goshdarnit :o
I have also decided that if we're still not upduffed by Christmas, I'll see my GP in January - that'll have been 10 months ttc, then. but of course I won't need to

Eggs can hang around for 5 days? Shock I always thought it needed to be sperminated immediately or it died within 24hrs! Shock Shock Shock
