Oops! Just realised I was looking in the wrong place for the PSEPPs! Please ignore my link below, there's another much better new home for the PSEPPs on a different thread!

Yay! i was feeling lost for a while!

Solars · 14/10/2011 21:18

Well done Jaggy & Scream on your scans.

Oh my goodness I am so out of touch these days and I have no idea who all these scrumptious men are that you talk of Biscuits! I've never watched Spooks either! Plus my husband is a big cricket fan (watching cricket at the moment now) so I don't get to watch as much tv as i'd like to!

GenericDietCola · 14/10/2011 21:21

Excellent taste Scarlet!

Scream I am really happy for you that your scan went well. Are you going to be telling people over the weekend? Sorry work's been stressful and I hope things settle down soon.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 14/10/2011 22:22

Thanks Generic! I've already started telling people, it's been wonderful!

NinjaChipmunk · 15/10/2011 09:02

right lets see if i can remember all this

imps enjoy Brighton, my parents are about to move about half and hour down the coast from there in a couple of weeks (which both makes me sob and grin with delight at the same time). I love Brighton, there is loads to do there.

generic have a lovely holiday, I don't know Yorkshire all that well but what I do know of it is very nice. Enjoy and relax.

jaggy scream and all other scanees, well done all of you. The no brooking babies are cooking well. Tis good to hear.

biscuits I've not seen Richard Armitage either. After googling I think he is not quite my cup of tea but I imagine if he has good screen presence he could ramp it up a notch or two!

little it will be interesting to hear what your acupuncturist says. Does he/ she have much knowledge of luteal phases and trying to lengthen them?

Enjoy your saturdays everyone, will try to check in later if I can. Outlaws are having brekkie at their hotel then coming over after a bit of shopping so have a couple of hours of normality!

PopcornMouse · 15/10/2011 14:40

I have never seen spooks either but I do recognise him from Dibley. I am not normally draw to this kind of man, but I do love the guy from the Mentalist, he is hot hot hot.

Scream and Jaggy, yay for scans! I'm glad they went well :)

Generic I am v jealous, have a lovely time and bring us back some lardy cake :d

I have a bug or the worlds worst implantation pains. I only threw up once last night, but spent the night waking intermittently with agonising cramping, which have continued more mildly today. Also an increase in CM. I hope this is A Good Thing and not cause for concern!!

TheLittleFriend · 15/10/2011 14:55

Ninja my acupuncturist is a fertility specialist and is actually a research midwife at Oxford! (having been a clinical midwife beforehand). It's great getting to hear all her knowledge. She was very surprised that my cycles had gone back to being short and agrees that it appears I have low progesterone levels. I think I just was too confident that the problem was already resolved, but it's just going to be a longer road.

You are as bad as me dream dashing from thread to thread like a loon, trying to keep up!

ScrambledSmegs · 15/10/2011 20:31

Congrats on the scans, Scream and jaggy. Enjoy your hols Imps and Generic. And my goodness, what an overqualified acupuncturist you have, Little! I wish they made them like that in North London!

Not heard of Richard Armitage before? Shock The man whose eyes can undress you though a tv screen and who has a voice like rich dark chocolate? Not to mention his, erm, physique. Cor. Flipping heck, you've missed so much.

Although I don't mind a bit of Patrick Jane from the Mentalist. Or the bloke from Castle who used to be in Buffy/Firefly/Serenity, and was in Waitress too. He's funny looking, but I laike him.

PopcornMouse · 15/10/2011 20:49

Omg scrambled I had such a thing for Michael Praed way back when, but i was too embarassed to bring it up Blush

On that note, anyone else watching xfactor? :)

Biscuitsandtea · 15/10/2011 20:54

Agreeing re mentalist man and can sort of see where you're coming from re castle man. Never watched Robin of sherwood so can't comment there.

Still watching strictly Popcorn as we were putting DS to bed earlier. Hoping to squeeze I'n another episode of the mentalist though before bedtime Smile

Biscuitsandtea · 15/10/2011 20:58

Oh and agree re max beesley from earlier in the thread too Wink

I'm obviously not picky..... Blush

ScrambledSmegs · 15/10/2011 21:32

Hee hee Popcorn - just for you. Michael Praed

You can have Max Beesley though

PopcornMouse · 16/10/2011 07:55

Ha ha ha ha ha! Perhaps this is why I married a man without the ability to grow a chest-rug ;)

Biscuitsandtea · 16/10/2011 08:21

How's Dizzy doing? Am still keeping my fingers crossed for a big thick line tomorrow Smile

PopcornMouse · 16/10/2011 15:40

Any news Dizzy? :)

DizzyKipper · 16/10/2011 17:33

Hello all, phew - what a busy weekend it's been so far, although had a nap earlier in the day -THAT was wonderful! [wink[

Congratulations to all those in the scanathon, glad it went well and our Brooking babies are doing well. Who's the next to test?

I'd not heard of Richard Armitage either, not quite my type though guess depending on his character portrayals he could be.

AF hasn't come today, so I'm tentatively assuming I've made it past the chemical pregnancy stage and MC likelihood has already dramatically dropped (or will have by 00:01) - so that's the first obstacle passed.

I have been extremely thirsty though - think I must already be up to 4L today and my mouth is still dry. Had moderate exercise in the first few hours of the morning followed by mainly light activity throughout the day. Is this amount of thirst normal? Slightly concerned..

jaggythistle · 16/10/2011 18:16

I'm really thirsty too. Also went through a few weeks where I ate huge amounts Blush

Not sure how normal it is but I think I have heard a few people mention it on here.

glad you enjoyed a nap :)

Biscuitsandtea · 16/10/2011 18:50

I've been pretty thirsty too Dizzy and I've heard that a lot in early pregnancy. Something to do with making extra blood or something perhaps?

Are you testing again tomorrow to get a massive huge dark fat line?

Intrigued by your 'moderate' exercise in the early hours of the morning though WinkWink

TheLittleFriend · 16/10/2011 19:53

Just popping in quickly to say hi everyone. I've had a fantastic day celebrating my dd's 2nd birthday, which has cheered me up no end. Which reminds me, Happy Birthday to Ninjaboy too!

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 16/10/2011 20:39

Thanks jaggy and Biscuits, will try not to worry too much about it. And yes I will be testing tomorrow, will try not to get too worked up if the line isn't dark enough - I know they can't be used diagnostically really. Also 'moderate exercise' - nothing quite as exciting as you may think Biscuits, particularly since OH wasn't here in the morning Grin Just at work helping a disabled client with passive exercises.

Glad you and your dd had a great day Little

NinjaChipmunk · 16/10/2011 21:44

Thank you little and very many happy returns to your lovely DD on her birthday too. I'm so glad its cheered you up. DS is in bed, still awake asking for anything he can think of to put off going to sleep. And he wants to wear his new Ben10 Alien dressing up costume to nursery tomorrow, mask and all!

dizzy I'm sure I've heard many stories about thirst in early pregnancy. Look forward to hearing about your big dark line tomorrow.

Well, I'm still parping here. I can't eat a meal without the following two hours being a slow release of gas. I thought maybe it was something I ate but its been like this for nearly a week! There had better be a reason for it!

Hope everyone else has had a lovely weekend?

DrMunkenstein · 16/10/2011 21:46

Evening all, this is Munkiii just with my seasonal name.

I am sorry that I have not posted for a while, especially after you were all so welcoming and helpful. But I have been reading and trying to follow the news.

I am keeping everything crossed for dizzy tomorrow. And many congratulations on the scans. Such lovely news.

I am totally unsure where I am in my cycle, as it varies from 26 to 56 days. Seems to have settled at 33ish days for the last three months, but who knows? I am using the the OPKs but they are not always reliable and there is the suspected an ovulation issue.

Anyway am going for with DH every other day and hoping for the best!

Am going to start charting my temp next cycle so we have a it of evidence for the clinic when we go.

Anyway, I bring White chocolate and raspberry muffins and hot chocolate if anyone is hungry or in need of a comfort drink!

During my pg with DD I could only eat chicken baguettes and only at lunchtime. Funny the things you crave, and I had both morning and evening sickness.

DrMunkenstein · 16/10/2011 21:47

Oh, how rude of me sorry- happy birthday to Little and Ninja's DCs!

And I had terrible wind in early pg!
