And so it begins again.....

OP posts:

When would you expect AF to be due Dizzy? I know I've asked this before but I'm allowed to be forgetful :)

DizzyKipper · 12/10/2011 18:48

Sunday, possibly Saturday as I've recently been having 27 day cycles.

Biscuitsandtea · 12/10/2011 19:05

OK - well I do hope that we never find out whether she was due on Saturday or Sunday as she won't bother turning up.

Keeping everything crossed for when your OH lets you test :)

GenericDietCola · 12/10/2011 19:51

Oh Dizzy your symptoms sound promising, but I agree to try to wait until the weekend.

Bartlet sorry to hear you are feeling rough - you've had a time of it haven't you?

I've just used my last cheapy ov stick and it was positive (or at least nearly positive) - whoop! Always nice to see two lines on something you've weed on. We have SWI for four days in a row now, so will hopefully get another one in tonight and use the Conceive Plus (I keep forgetting).

Any seduction tips that don't involve saying 'fancy a quickie' after lights out?

ScrambledSmegs · 12/10/2011 20:55

Hmm... you could try raising one eyebrow suggestively and humping his leg while he's trying to stack the dishwasher. My DH seems to think that is the height of seduction Grin.

NinjaChipmunk · 12/10/2011 20:59

um, how about 'get yer kecks off, you've pulled'? I have no idea to be honest. After this long dp just looks at me and says 'am i on duty tonight?' Oh the romance. I believe I have forgotten how to have sex for fun. CD20 for me. Another 8 days to go to go until D day. Or should that be P day?

dreamfeeder · 12/10/2011 21:26

generic I got these for you from a chat up lines website as I also dont know

Are you free tonight, or will it cost me?
You. Me. Whipped cream. Handcuffs. Any questions?
My name is Generic. Remember that, you'll be screaming it later.
Were you arrested earlier? It's gotta be illegal to look that good?
I've lost that loving feeling, will you help me find it again?

one of those bad boys has got to do the trick!!!

NinjaChipmunk · 12/10/2011 22:07

I bet these are your personal lines dream and thats how you got updiffed with twins?!

dreamfeeder · 12/10/2011 22:13

oh, for shame, i've been found out! I've never met a less romantic person than my DH. He once asked me what the point of a G-thong was!!!! ( I nearly wet myself laughing and he didn't even realise thats because it's called a G-string or a thong, but never a G-thong!). Needless to say, I never waste any effort seducing him, fancy a quickie would work just fine... Blush

BartletForAmerica · 12/10/2011 22:18

Back from the hospital.

Scan with a lovely little baby with a lovely little flickering heartbeat. Grin Makes all the vomiting worthwhile. Measuring about 8 weeks, which is about right.

The consultant doing the scan was great as well. He said that if things don't settle, I should be seen early at the Early Pregnancy Unit for bloods and IV fluids as a day case, and they will repeat that as many times as they have to. I can definitely see the logic in early treatment, I don't want to end up with a full-on emergency admission like last time. He was great, even if he did joke that by being a doctor and having a home birth, I was letting the side down. Wink

Off to bed now, still being sick but with a smile on my face. Looking forward to ?Friday's scanathon now.

scarletfingernail · 12/10/2011 22:25

Yay for your great scan update Bartlet Hope you start feeling a bit better soon.

NinjaChipmunk · 12/10/2011 22:30

bartlett thats great news, hope you feel better soon. Oh I do like when the pee-stick endorsed preggos come in with news like this. Makes the marathon I'm on much more bearable.

Biscuitsandtea · 12/10/2011 22:36

Yay Bartlet Grin - hoping the conning calms down xx

BartletForAmerica · 12/10/2011 22:43

"conning"?!?

You saying I'm faking it?!

Wink
Biscuitsandtea · 12/10/2011 23:01

Ooops! stupid iPad! Blush Surely it should be autocorrecting to vomming by now? The amount if times I write it on here....

It just tried to change that to conning too

Sorry my lovely xx

BartletForAmerica · 12/10/2011 23:06
Smile
DizzyKipper · 13/10/2011 07:28

Wahey excellent scan results Bartlet, really pleased things are going well for you and that the consultant was so nice. Must be a big relief. Hopefully you'll start to feel better soon as well.

Is it the visit from your mw today Biscuits? If so I'm looking forward to you also coming back with good news and having heard your little one's heartbeat Smile

And I'm sure there's some one in for a scan tomorrow but can't think who! But good luck for tomorrow anyway and I'm really sorry I've forgotten that it was you going.

Happy shagathon Generic - did you manage to come up with any brilliant seduction techniques last night? I'm a bit useless I'm afraid as once we're in bed and I know it's a swi night I just err, start getting OH going - I don't even ask Blush Mind you he hasn't complained or said no so far so it must be a winner [hgrin]

Biscuitsandtea · 13/10/2011 07:35

It is indeed my mw appt today Dizzy, although I have to go to her - not sure how these lucky people seem to get seen at home. It seems to be fairly common in Scotland? Mind you, after 'waiting in' for the mw when DS was born (when she would regularly turn up 5 or 6 hours late with no warning and then tell me off for not taking DS outside ?!?!?!) I don't really mind going to her!

There is a scanthon tomorrow. If I remember correctly, it is Scream, Jaggy and Meconium?

DizzyKipper · 13/10/2011 07:43

Ah excellent, so lots of good news to hear about after work Smile

It really annoys me when service providers (whether in health, shopping goods or whatever) just expect you to make your whole day revolve around them. I guess going to the mw is probably sensible if they're not reliable.

DizzyKipper · 13/10/2011 07:45

btw I seem to have another symptom, err, constipation Blush But since it was my main symptom last time I'm fairly happy.

Biscuitsandtea · 13/10/2011 07:54

Oh it used to drive me potty as we were under mw care for ages as DS was v jaundiced then she would arrive hours late and tell me I should have taken him out for the daylight etc - grrr.

Right. Tmi warning but I've just done my wee sample for the mw, and it is cloudy? This does not seem like a good sign? Surely wee shouldn't be cloudy?

Biscuitsandtea · 13/10/2011 07:55

Dizzy - constipation is a big symptom. I'm getting quite excited for you.....

DizzyKipper · 13/10/2011 08:00

Hmm quick check with Dr Google and there are other pregnant women with cloudy urine without apparent problems, some are just dehydrated and one or 2 had urine infections. Could you phone up the doctor to talk it through?

Biscuitsandtea · 13/10/2011 08:02

Well it is for the mw this morning so I'll see what she thinks... Thanks for googling for me .

I was otherwise engaged getting my iPhone to play Mamma Mia for DS......

DizzyKipper · 13/10/2011 08:03

hehe far more important things to do
