Morning
Happy Birthday Saara - hope you have a lovely day sabs, great weather for a birthday
barbie oh my love, what a nightmare. Not that Aberdeen is particularly bad (as far as I know) but I know that moving 3x in a year will not be fun. It would be cool for you to be able to meet up with vjay or jarjar or whatever name she is using today
. Maybe you are just destined to move around the country meeting up with emmys's?? How is Dolly today, you must be knackered if she's not sleeping. Tons of luck tomorrow for your scan, will be looking forward to the news that its a baby ralph.
gracie fabby news that the sickness has stopped. Your asthma doesn't sound like fun though - I agree with mls have they checked for infections? Your immune system is lower during pg and your are more susceptible to things. I'm sure the vomiting can't have helped. Hope you feel better very soon x
mls yay for bump
and I'm sure if you position DD2 correctly, no one will notice at swimming. I think people are far less observant sometimes than we expect. Are you still doing your painting or is life just too hectic at the moment.
cupcake boys have very unsubtle ways of getting your attention don't they! Glad you got your scan date sorted.
4ever you sound so relaxed and chilled. I'm glad the island of love did the trick
.
Monkey glad you're ok (and thanks for update barbie). It sounds like things are a bit mad at the moment!
moon we understand, but make sure you post when you need us, even if it is just to vent. {{{{HUGS}}}} from me x
vjay I'm loving the last ever series of Spooks can't believe there are only 6 episodes though.
blue hope you're ok?? I think I misssed the fall out with your friend as it sounds like it happened around the time that Oscar was born, so I don't know what happened.
LBM if you're around, I know you said you've been to disneyland paris - who did you book it through? We are thinking of going next June half-term.
buddha Glad you had a lovely holiday
hope you're not getting too stressed out about E's op. It will be over before you know it.
curlywhodefinitelyshouldbePM fab post, brought tears to my eyes x
Glad the list has been ressurected, but I think we need a new category - support pants
. I've been running 3x a week for 35-45 mins but have lost hardly any weight. I've ordered a running buggy and I'm now impatiently waiting for it to be delivered so I can go running in the daytime with Oscar, instead of in the dark after DH gets home from work. He is away Mon-Thurs next week so I'm flying solo. The mornings are going to be a nightmare - its hard enough with 2 adults.
Otherwise, I've been really busy being a bit of a social butterfly. The parents meeting I went to last week was for the parents of kids in the unit that Isaac goes to. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be really useful, because I found out loads of info about what goes on in the unit, stuff about outside activities and also the mums were all really nice. One of them invited me for coffee on Friday with a group of other mums (all of whom have at least 1 child with ASD) and then we had a workshop this week with another group of mums to chat about issues affecting kids with ASD. I managed to meet the mum whose DD is in the same taxi as Isaac which was really useful. As well as that, I've been sorting out booking a holiday for next Easter and organising for our holiday in October (we leave 3 weeks today!).
We have also made the decision to split I&L up - we have been putting Luke to bed in a different room to Isaac to try and get them both to sleep earlier, then we move him back later on. But its a bit of a PITA so we are going to convert the spare room into a room for Luke which means all the furniture in there has to go (its a bit of a dumping ground) and we need to buy him a new bed and decorate the room. He wasn't keen until I said we would have to paint it - he wants it to be painted orange!!!
