I second those who have said to get a second opinion, there is no way he should of said things to get your hopes up only to dash them again...grrrrr. vjay I got myself all confuzzled with your appointments, for some reason I thought the coil and the thing we shall not mention are both related and you were getting them sorted out together, so when they found the strings I thought you were out of the woods, so to speak. I am very sure you have nothing to worry about, just like I was freaking about the cyst and it turned out to be nothing. Ps I am missing our non sense chats....

Gracie goods news on getting scan date, early morning ones are always the best. How is the sickness? Did you do baking soda test? My scan is on sat and I'm crapping myself so we will just have t hold each other steady...

And also re good luck charms...I think we all know things like titles of threads and writing on shower doors (yes I'm looking at you neeko ) and wearing same pants to scans (I did this one so Im just as guilty)...are not what makes our babies ok. I know we do those things as a comfort to ourselves but we need to start having more faith in our babies and our bodies, not in superstitions :) 4ever IS going to get her precious dc2, no matter what.

I just hope she comes back because we need her wisdom around here :) I so hope that you don't have pgp :( I went through stages where I could barely walk, had physio and a support belt but I found that the best thing of all was t clenching all the muscles in that area as it seemed to keep everything aligned. Also if you are in pain, stop moving, it will make it so much worse x

I'm in a funny kind of place myself at the moment worrying about bad things that could happen and I think it always helps to share. You are always there for us with your beautiful words and I know we would like to be there for you when you need to chat. If you are thinking negative thoughts then come on and share them and we'll put you right, or at least make you feel better with some bramble vodka and custard tarts :)

Just had an amazon parcel delivered, the company now email you in the morning with an hours slot that your parcel will arrive in. The man was 3 minutes early so the computer thingy wouldn't let me sign for it until it had counted down those last 180 seconds. Surely that's a bit excessive! So had to make small talk with the delivery man for 3 mins - a bit challenging as still can't speak without coughing them wanting to vomit. Sounds like a really good system made just that little bit picky!

On the plus side it's 11:05am and I haven't vomited yet today!!!!

Didn't do the baking soda test Barbie I havent got any baking soda! Do normal domesticated people have baking soda in their cupboards? I'm not very domesticated! Not sure about wee and baking soda exploding all over my bathroom! I'm on minimum housework duties at the minute! MIL would be horrified but I don't care! moon I can't believe how appallingly you are being treated it's bad enough that you have to go through all these appointments without them c*cking it all up! I agree with the others you must complain, I know it takes energy you probably feel you haven't got but it might help you feel better for doing it. I would seriously consider the offers of clomid, but only you can decide that, massive hugs for you my lovely and hope to see you here again soon

Barbie Had a wonderful time in Devon thanks - weather was a bit wet at the start of the week, but didn't stop us having a good time, E even went swimming for the first time EVER! He loved it! I really hope you haven't got pgp/spd as it has taken me 18 months to be free of it completely after having E, support belt is definately a given it kind of holds things in place, keep legs together getting out of bed/car and rest when you need to, mine started inbetween my legs, it kind of felt like I'd been riding a horse iykwim?. If you need to know anything else let give me a shout. And stop worrying about Strawberry you are not keeping her away!!

Well it's a week today for E's op and I have to say everytime I think about it I feel sick! The appointment isn't until 4pm so he's going to theatre late afternoon/early evening and can't eat after 11.00 am! It's going to be a very very long day

How can the scan dept at my hospital be engaged for 10 mins? I just called epu to see if they had an early scan request from my gp & they said that yes I could have an early scan but I'd have to book via their scan dept.

Blue I'm so sorry I don't think I ever responded to you before either, feel awful. You so don't need to be embarrassed putting that stuff on the thread - I'm one of those people who feels things v deeply too and a fall out with anyone can have me feeling just horrible for weeks or even months. I still get a bad taste in my mouth and a when I think of a fall-out I had with a uni housemate 6 years ago... you are so doing the right thing taking to somebody impartial, and also just so glad your lovely dh is being there for you. As strawb once said- you can tell those emmsy men by their soggy shoulders!

Hello lovelies - I'm home! We had an absolutely amazing holiday, fantastic weather, wonderful place, Summer was in her element, loved the pool and the sea, she was splashing water crouched at the edge of the kids pool on the first day, fully dressed in cute shorts and vest, and tumbled in head first! She cried for half a minute, then we couldn't get her out for pretty much the rest of the holiday! She also insisted on walking nearly everywhere including one of the restaurants we frequented over a mile away, gotta love the harness buddy! Was a great tonic, feel very rested, relaxed and revived, lots of good food, wine and happy times, even brought the sunshine home with us!

Mls, Barbie, Gracie and Cupcake good luck for upcoming scans and apts, hand squeezes on offer when required! V interesting about the soda wee sex test!

Moon flabbergasted by your doctors, completely agree with the others that you must complain/seek a second opinion/take up offers of donated clomid!

Would be fab to be together in next batch of Bfps but tbh hols put things in perspective that I'm not in my previous post mc desperation to get pregnant again immediately, in fact I'm quite happy to have a substantial age gap now after we waited so long for Summer I just want to enjoy it being the 3 of us for a while, holiday reiterated that very much! Still got my small pants on but gonna pay no attention whatsoever to my cycle, whatever will be will be, hadn't tried with my last pregnancy and was very refreshing after the previous years i can tell ya!

Vjay glad to hear your scan showed your coil was ok and fingers crossed that all is well with your colposcopy results..

Blue lovely sensitive lady, totally hear the heartache and bitter taste fallouts with a friend can leave, my xbff whom i knew since i was 9, and I have drifted totally apart due to a lot of various issues and its a sad state of affairs.. Like cupcake said someone as lovely and kind as yourself will be hurt more deeply and I'm glad you are getting some support to help you through...
