vjay I'm guessing you've got the name by now Unfortunately Ralph was taken to SCBU this evening as his blood sugars are too low (same thing happened to Oscar). My sister is pretty upset, understandably. Hopefully it won't be a long stay. Need to think of a festive name but not feeling inspired.

Hello lovely Blue I always when i read your posts! We've gone fake with our tree too, pine needles and babies just not compatible! Its going up on friday! Can't wait but no idea how well it will fare with Summer around! You and Neekos meet up sounded fab! Wish we weren't all so far from each other! We started to put up our tree at 9am this morning....we are still going! we have a huge artificial one that dh bought for over. £200 about. 6 years ago, I'm still in shock that he spent that much but it is gorgeous.

We have to rearrange the whole room, move pictures on the wall, fill in gaps and go to the local equivalent of b&q to get paint to cover the holes, we don't do things buy halve!

Dolly has just gone to bed so dh and I are going to get it all done tonight for when she wakes in the morning

It's been a public holiday today so everything feels party like, all the Brits were in the hard wear store getting trees and decorations....I even had a few tears while listening to Christmas songs. Santa is truly on his way!!!!

We are off to the zoo tomorrow so I'll wish you all a lovely weekend now.

itsliueyalot I've been underwater shopping today, the first time in AGES, it's been so Kim that I got remeasured and was a wee bit at the size. But dh has bought me something nice to pop them in for Christmas

Hi ladies..
No didn't have a scan just 16 wk midwife appointment on Tues... it was rubbish though. My usual mw wasn't there (she was my mw with ds too and is v v lovely) the replacement one wasn't chatty at all so me, her and a student mw sat in a room quietly while she looked through my notes, then took my blood pressure then said 'see you at 28 weeks'...pah. No heartbeat or nothing.
Thankfully can feel baby moving a lot during the day now so hopefully s/he is fine!

lol at all the talk of underwear...I'm just about bursting out of my normal bras now so will soon be switching back to non-underwire maternity type ones... feels only 5 mins ago I was going WOOP I'M BACK IN UNDERWIRE at the end of breastfeeding ds

Lol, barbie I'm at how different your tree experience is to ours... £200 beautiful tree vs saw a bit of branch out of your ILs back garden hahaha! But I am quite chuffed with it esp as it is our first year actually having a tree in the house.
louey hope you have fun doing elf on a shelf I think it sounds sooooo much fun from the thread on here I'm def gonna be doing it in a few years! I'd love to have a few different advent/christmas traditions in the family, have just been looking up children's nativity sets but think that will be for next year for ds!
