Well, last night was my first attempt at AI with my donor! It was all a bit awkward but managed to do it just fine. Have been uber-disappointed the last 7 days with negative OPK's, BUT!!!!!!! this morning, after AI, tested and got an almost-positive! It's not exactly as dark as the test line but pretty close. So I'm assuming O-day will be tomorrow, CD17. Yay!!!!! Looks like we got the timing pretty well spot-on. Planning another go at AI tomorrow night if OPK is positive, if it's negative obv will have been too late and just have to go with what we had last night.

Gah I'm so excited

Have had some abdominal crampiness today, wondering if that's O-related. I think it possibly could be as I've had O-related crampiness/bloating before. Or I might just be overthinking it as I'm TTC now.

Have any of you had experience with Pre-Seed? I seem to never have EWCM. I mean, not ever. I have thought that Pre-Seed, which helps to apparently mimic natural secretions might help the spermies to swim but I don't know if that's better than no lubrication at all, so to speak? (Definitely not a plug for the product, btw, just asking for opinions).

nearly AF was due 3 days ago now (I got my original date wrong) so I'd imagine a BFP would show by now! However, my next cycle would still make it a July baby so would like to stick around here still until next time!

Fish I use pre-seed because I have never see the fabled EWCM I Aldo use is it for lubrication when I can't be arsed with the SWI but need to do it (obviously you don't have that worry [hgrin]) it can't do any harm but might not be worth it! I'd see how you go this cycle and if no luck maybe invest in some next month :)

And then there were 11.... you know how I only said an hour ago that I wasn't going to poas [blush .... well I did. BUT, unlikely previously this month when I poas with a hope that I was pg, this time I poas as I know I'm not and don't want to entertain any more hopes this month, I just want to know I'm not until af arrives. Does that make sense?

fish good luck. I don't have experience of pre-seed but I started a thread on this last night to get some opions. Might be worth a look. I'm pretty sure it's entitled pre-seed.

nearly that makes complete sense but a word of caution, some women do not get BFPs until a week after AF is due, like 18, 19, 20 and 21 DPO so until the hag shows her fat ugly face it's not over, despite what the sticks say and evening urine is no way near as good as FMU!! I really don't want to raise hopes unnecessarily.....just saying, that's all [hgrin]

nearlymumofone I POAS again too today. I was still holding out some hope this morning but have now been spotting all day so all hope is now gone but I'm tempted to test again this morning so I don't spend the day wondering. I got nothing done at work today - spent the whole time on my phone researching implantation bleeding [hblush].

Good luck Fishpants. I bought Pre-seed this month after reading some positive stuff. I don't have good EWCM so am hoping it will bridge the gap.

Hello there, reporting in after a bit of an absence - not been online.

Anyway, no symptoms but POAS on Friday night after far too much internet research that told me it was possible to get a BFP nearly a week before AF due. No luck but at least at that stage it is easy to persuade yourself that you might yet be pg but just testing too early...

A bit harder to convince myself when I tested again this morning and got another BFN . I was using FR and FMU so was badly disappointed to get a lonely single pink line. I just don't feel pg in the slightest though and with my 2DC, I just knew, only did one test each time and that was it, so I'm sure this is not my month.

So, am with nearly now in just waiting for AF to arrive (due Friday). I'll be away for a few days and am NOT taking my one remaining HPT with me, so if a miracle happens and AF doesn't show her face, I won't be able to drive myself mad by endlessly POASing and getting disappointed. I shall put the whole sorry TTC thing aside and not think about it once.

Mama and Deafworm its funny that you've both said you are giving it til December before giving up. I have said the same. I can't keep doing this for ever. That said when I imagine giving up, I always think of all the stories of people who have given up then "accidentally" got pregnant. It is entirely possible that I will still be TTC when I am 80 at this rate!

GTR sounds like you are well prepared for some serious POAS action, there's got to be a positive waiting in there somewhere!

Ahhhh I'm going crazy now - decided to do another ov test this eve, as it's supposed to strengthen over the course of the day right? Well, got a BFN on the OPK - line very faint. After an almost positive strong lien this morning at 9am, it's only 7pm now so there was only a 9-ish hour window where it was positive?! I'm so confused!

I hope that means that I've ovulated today, as I inseminated last night so timing should have been good...but now I'm worried

fish the LH surge can be over within a 24 hour period! When you first tested you may have been seeing the end of the surge so when you tested again later in the day it would be negative as the surge has finished! If you had a positive in the morning then you should ov in the next 12-24 hours!!

Think I may be having ov pains.....I think! Never had them before so not quite sure but have a dull(ish) poking/pinching sensation in my lower left abdominal area!! Ooooooo [hhmm]

For anyone that temps, does ov take place after the temp drop or before? I had a drop yesterday and a sharp rise today so could these pains be ov or just me getting a little over excited!! I don't get EWCM and stupid CB Digi is always negative, so temping is the only way I can be sure that ov has occurred!! Was not expecting to ov until the weekend but I'm not sure of my LP so anytime this week is a real possibility (of course, if my body decides to realise said eggy!) not holding out much hope to be honest [hconfused]

GTR I think ov happens about when you get the temp rise, possibly just before, sounds hopeful!

Oh GTR I would be hopeless temping. I don't think I would ever trust my judgement. I'm so lazy I need a CBFM to tell me what is happening.

Still no sign of AF here. I had a small brown streak yesterday when wiping (TMI!) but nothing else since. If I still have nothing in the morning, I shall POAS again with FMU. I used the Tesco own brand ones... anyone know how sensitive they are?

The big question notinmykitchen is whether I can actually stick to that plan! Just worked it out I only have two cycles between now and Christmas, 4 cycles is hardly a fair crack at it. I'm just scared of getting too involved again, dd1 and dd2 took 5 years ttc between them and I don't feel like I can go on indefinitely again. Good luck for your bfp, really hope you get it soon.

Now important question, drinking in the tww, I'm going away for a girls weekend 4 days after ov, not planning on getting slaughtered but a few bottles drinks over the weekend are planned!

morning all I'm so happy its a bfp here. l gave in and tested Monday night and got a really faint line. so tested again tues morning and this morning got darker line now. just wanted to say a big Thankyou for all the support and information from this thread. will keep my fx for many more July or august babies .

hello all! back from the US and a BFN :( Managed SWI 13 times in 18 days so was disappointed to say the least...

Had a quick flick at the las couple of pages and gutted to not see more BFPs but congrats to you princess really well done!!!

loulou i see you got yourself a CBFM, I am using mine this month for the first time so fingers crossed something happens for us! I think i might start a new thread for those newbies on the CBFM!
