Oooh Pomme well done you! 16 weeks!

Solars · 19/09/2011 09:50

Looking good Duke

Thanks Generic, holiday was lovely, however we're both a little jet-lagged, neither of us could sleep last night and so much to do today, so in a bit of a grumpy mood!! I'm on CD11 (had to just count out the days there!) and should ov around CD17 or 18. We're trying out the pre-seed this month too, when I get my hands on it, we ordered it just before leaving for hols and looks like they've attempted to deliver it so will have to nip down to the post office to pick it up! Would love to know if you go for the acupuncture, I tried reflexology for a couple of months, which has actually helped on the relaxation front!

BartletForAmerica · 19/09/2011 09:56

Solars, preseed worked for us so I hope it has the same effect.

Duke, great news! Hopefully the PFP will soon be wonderfully bright!

Generic, enjoy the last fortnight of wine, Camembert, liver Hmm before your BFP!

popcorn, hope you see that BFP soon. it's not over until the fat lady sings!

GenericDietCola · 19/09/2011 09:58

Glad you had a good holiday Solars and good luck for the SWI with the preseed. I will be buying some of that next month if AF dares to show up this month. I am very tempted by acupuncture, but I think it's quite pricey and goodness knows when I would find time to go. For now, I am taking Manuka honey (there's another thread about it under conception if you want to give it a go) - it's supposed to increase blood flow to your uterus (I think) and some people are recommending it for fertility.

Solars · 19/09/2011 10:07

I hope so too Bartlet, by the way I can't get over the fact that despite shingles you still endorsed a pee stick

Will check out the Manuka thread too....

maybebabyR · 19/09/2011 10:33

Solars!! You are back! How was the holiday? Lovely I hope.

Duke that is so bloody exciting. When are you next peeing on a stick?

Farfalla glad you enjoyed your anniversary, and brilliant that spotting is disappearing!! Have you brought out the big guns yet?

Feeling very sick in the maybe camp for the past 24 hours, so guessing I may be ov'ing. Bleurgh. DH has the week off, and I am v.jealous. Might throw a sneaky day off tomorrow. While the boss is away, Maybe can play Grin

musicalmrs · 19/09/2011 11:07

Congratulations duke! I look forward to future POAS updates! Who else is peeing soon?

I think Bartlet definitely wins the award for "BFP against all odds"!

PopcornMouse · 19/09/2011 11:14

I agree!!!

farfallarocks · 19/09/2011 12:01

duke excellent news!!!
Wlcome back solars good luck with impending SWI

Bad news here sadly, big guns aka CB digital say Not Pregnant
First response also bordering on negative (there might be a faint line but to be honest I think I am seeing things now!)

Only saving grace was not FMU and very dilute

Spotting seems to have stopped for now but combined with cramps and BFNs now I think I am just waiting for the inevitable to happen and which it would just get on with it!

Feeling very glum as I don;t think this is just a co-incedence, I am obvioulsy having problems at the implantation stage and I think it could be low progesterone related. Not sure where to go from here though :(

maybebabyR · 19/09/2011 12:03

Oh Farfalla You poor thing.

Is there any chance that you could have ov'd later, and that this is just implantation, and the HCG is just taking it's sweet bloody time to build up?!

I really hope that's what it is Smile

OP posts:
farfallarocks · 19/09/2011 12:06

I don;t know maybe, its possible but the BFPs are getting lighter and lighter so its going in the wrong direction!

I think combined with the cramping and the spotting its just all too negative a picture.

The hope is what is so argh though, if only AF had just arrived on Friday like it was meant to I think I could dealt with that better!

GenericDietCola · 19/09/2011 12:14

Oh Farfalla that sucks. I agree with Maybe that there is still some hope in that it could still be too early. Are you getting any treatment/care at the moment post-mc or in ttc? I'm not an expert at all, but perhaps there are tests you could have to check your progesterone etc (didn't you already have one but we thought it was done on the wrong day?). Any chance you could go to dr and ask for a blood test of your hCG concentration? I think I would recommend a trip to the GP anyway to discuss all this and tell them what your fears are. They may be able to help.

Take it easy today.

PopcornMouse · 19/09/2011 12:15

Oh Far :(
I have ready various things about vitamin B helping short luteal phases? You've been ttc for 6 cycles, haven't you? Is it worth trying your GP and saying this has happened more than once?

dreamfeeder · 19/09/2011 12:16

farfalla, very sad news. Dilute urine may be to blame?? I would go to the GP and tell them all that- getting a +ve test and then not successfully implanting IF af does turn up. The problem being that it ain't over til the red lady sings, and the hope is a killer.... Will keep things crosed for you.

yay duke, good skills on convincing a pee stick! And it is still early, so a line is a line!

solars, don't be ridiculous! You will be the next BFP. Preseed worked first month for me too.

BartletForAmerica · 19/09/2011 12:22

farfalla, I'm not an expert in this either, but if AF does show up, this month has not been wasted. You know that you can get a BFP but that it didn't stick, so perhaps the luteal phase is the issues. You've been trying for long enough to see the GP for a basic review, even if the fertility clinic won't see you (depends on your age and their policies) so do see them. I do hope though, that this is all unnecessary and that the BFP sticks.

farfallarocks · 19/09/2011 13:01

yes I agree, time for decisive action I think as this is the 2nd time.
I am not sure my mental health can take hanging on for it to happen 3rd time!

Called the GP, they can't see me until NEXT Monday (how rubbish is that!) but suggested I go to the EPU and get things rolling there directly. I don;t really want to waste their time though.

Thinking of going to see Raj Raj or Michael Dooley privately but I imagine the tests and things costs ££££££

Sigh

No spotting but horrendous cramps

I think I am draggin down the 'no brooking' spirit on here a bit

BartletForAmerica · 19/09/2011 13:06

farfalla, it is fine for you to not brook for a bit. We are all doing the No Brooking for you.

farfallarocks · 19/09/2011 13:08

Aw thanks barlett (I might have just wiped a tear)
Can't tell you how much all your no brooking is helping.

Music I hope there is better news for you and also for love who I saw was also having a bit of bleeding over on antenatal

GenericDietCola · 19/09/2011 13:09

Farfalla you might as well go to the epu and get things rolling - I'm sure they would at least do a blood test. The cramps could be consistent with implantation.

We are here to support you.

musicalmrs · 19/09/2011 13:11

Sadly no news yet farfalla. More bleeding, and more pain, feeling truly awful.. so feeling that things aren't that hopeful - also letting the no brooking down! Scan tomorrow morn.

You should definitely take some action and make sure they check you out... but still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

thelittlefriend · 19/09/2011 13:20

Oh musicalmrs, I'll keep everything crossed for a positive outcome for you. x

And farfalla, just wanted to say the cramps at implantation with my dd can only be compared to contractions, so don't give up hope yet x

maybebabyR · 19/09/2011 13:21

Musical and Farfalla I am so sad to hear how you are both feeling. But as Generic and Bartlet said, we are all here to support and brrok for you.

You wouldn't be wasting anyone's time if you decide to go down the EPU route Farfalla Do you have one near you that offers a walk-in service?

OP posts:
farfallarocks · 19/09/2011 13:34

music so so sorry to hear that and keeping everything crossed for you

Yes there is a walk in service at the EPU, might go there this afternoon.

I canlt believe my GP can't see me for a week!

Also called my health insurance and they don;t cover recurrent miscarraige as 'its not a medical problem' Bizarre!
