New thread ladies, pull up a pew.

OP posts:
dreamfeeder · 02/10/2011 17:25

yeah, where's my magic 'it stops at 12 weeks' reprieve?!? The lies they tell you... Hopefully only another month or o to go- I'd stopped puking by 16 weeks last time and nausea gone by 18...

Biscuitsandtea · 02/10/2011 17:53

Poor Dream xxx

You're so brave about it all too with your 'only a month to go'. I'm brooking for it to be less xxx

LateToThisBabyMalarky · 02/10/2011 18:04

Never thought of D&V being a symptom Dream Grin

I just burst into tears singing along with 'Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer' on the Songs of Praise 50th birthday programme - symptom? Hmm

Best of British for later Ninja! Wink

CakePigeon · 02/10/2011 18:25

Hope you feel better soon dream

I might have sobbed a bit too late, DH and i had that at our wedding

Imps7 · 02/10/2011 19:06

Hello lovely ladies! Oh, I've had such a lovely day with my family out in the sun today. Gutted that it's Sunday and we've had to come home to get ready for work tomorrow.

Baby I'm so sorry about that cowbag turning up. And how dare she make you eat chocolate cause you so much pain. Hope she buggers off quickly to where she came from so you can plan this cycle's SWI strategy.

Late that does not sound nice at all! Deffo a clear sign of pregnancy though, PLUS OH can start getting practice at waiting on you hand and food as he shall be doing for the next 9 months! Can't believe that you're waiting until Saturday. As bad as Generic you are :)

Dream, gosh well done you for soldiering on to the Christening - I don't think I would have done if I were suffering as much as you are. You said at the beginning that DD was a bit scared of your vomming - is she a bit more used to it now? She must just think that it's something that mummies do when they reach a certain age!

Enjoy date night Ninja! Hurrah for the start of rat smacking this month Wink

No AF here and no spotting so far (touch wood). Am brooking like there's no tomorrow!

Imps7 · 02/10/2011 19:08

hand and foot Late, foot!

dreamfeeder · 02/10/2011 19:11

lol, DD well used to the vomming now, hardly bats an eyelid!!!! Glad she's got used to it, her sobbing was almost the worst bit. I shouldn't have gone to the christening, it was added unnecessary suffering. That'll learn me.

Fantastic news on no AF so far too imps and I notice you're ignoring my come-fix-my-radiator summons

Imps7 · 02/10/2011 19:12

Oh, is that the time? Gosh, I'd best be off...

ScrambledSmegs · 02/10/2011 23:10

Hello! I come bearing homemade lemony iced tea. Don't fancy cake in this weather, I don't recognise myself Confused.

Baby so sorry that AF has turned up and is worse than usual. Hope you feel better soon.

Late D&V? Well, if you're on this thread it's clearly a sign of pregnancy! Seriously, I hope you feel better soon too.

Imps am brooking for you like there's no tomorrow!

Well, I'm on CD23 and no sign of AF. She was not due today. I don't actually feel any different though. Boobs are normal selves despite obsessive prodding, no hormonal changes that are obvious to me or DH. Is most odd. I am normally horribly regular and get a vile headache the day before, but I feel surprisingly chipper today. Hmm... may consider brooking...

DizzyKipper · 03/10/2011 06:25

Getting a bit worried here. CD16 and I still haven't ovulated yet according to temperature (only 36.28), which gives me 12-13 days for a luteal phase if I ovulate today. Worrying that I won't and that I'm going to ovulate late and won't have enough time left in the cycle to support a pregnancy, even i we do get pregnant. Hurry up egg!

Imps7 · 03/10/2011 06:48

Morning!

Dizzy, what's your normal LP? I think your LP stays roughly the same so if you ovulate later than usual your cycle will end later than usual if you see what I mean. And 12-13 days is a lovely LP length so worry not! Little Kiplet will be bedding in before you know it!

Scrambled, lack of AF and headache is excellent news! When are PIAR?? When when when when when??

Still got high temp today (36.90 degs) and no AF or sign of it. Longest LP has been 14 days (last cycle) so I think I will PIAR on Weds if things stay as they are at the moment.

WHERE'S GENERIC??

PopcornMouse · 03/10/2011 08:24

Horribly ill today, but that'll be the entire bottle of white wine and not a mini-popcorn yet sadly. Blush

Any news, Generic?

Scrambled sounds really promising!!!

Dizzy I agree with Imps, I had heard that your luteal phase usually stays the same length. I'd also heard that it's not uncommon to get the odd month where you don't ovulate, but I'm not sure whether that's true or not Hmm

scarletfingernail · 03/10/2011 08:35

Morning all

haven't got much time to post but just wanted to quickly tell Dizzy to fear not.

The month I got my BFP I didn't ov until CD18. A whole 4 days later than normal. I was also thinking wtf? and panicking. My BFP showed up on CD32 but as I didn't test before that I've no idea how long my luteal phase would have been. Cycles had been anything from 26-32 days previously.

GenericDietCola · 03/10/2011 09:22

Right - I'm back. Will put you all out of your misery straightaway and tell you that AF turned up properly on Saturday so I am now on cd3 and did not have need for peeing on or in anything. Disappointed of course, but good to know where one stands. Have gynae appointment and scan this week so I shall be brooking no argument that they will make sure I am pregnant as soon as possible!

Solars sorry you were feeling a bit down and I hope you're feeling better now. I've heard good things about Clomid, so let's hope it does the trick.

Baby sorry about AF - let's be cycle buddies again. I'm getting some Conceive Plus to try this month.

Imps and Late OMG you two are so preggo!

Probably missed lots of people - sorry, but I need to run off and do some work now.

Imps7 · 03/10/2011 10:02

Oh arse Generic! Sorry about that stupid AF. What day is your appointment?? That gynae will sort you out (so to speak) and I am brooking no argument in that respect.

Solars · 03/10/2011 10:21

Oh Generic so sorry to hear that, I will brooking no argument for you too about your gynae appointment. I'm feeling a lot better thanks, for some strange reason I am already looking forward to next month of ttc where I will be adding Manuka honey to my arsenal even though I am only half way through my 2 week wait Hmm

ScrambledSmegs · 03/10/2011 10:34

Generic damn that AF Sad. Hope you're ok.

Still no AF. Still no symptoms of anything. May POAS on Thursday if it continues like this.

Biscuitsandtea · 03/10/2011 10:39

Oh boo Generic - am currently writing a strongly worded letter to AF to tell her she is no longer welcome for you! Still, at least there is the gynae thing this week so that will helpt to get everything moving maybe?

Who else might be testing this week? Imps, Late and Scrambled?

GenericDietCola · 03/10/2011 10:43

Thanks Imps, Solars and Scrambled. Appointment for scan is on Friday, then I see the consultant the following Tuesday.

Solars here's hoping very much that you get your post-hsg BFP this month and you don't need to fork out extortionate amounts of money on take the Manuka honey.

Scrambled - looking very promising for you!!

GenericDietCola · 03/10/2011 10:44

Ooh Biscuits thank you! Please tell her to bugger off for 9 months after this visit!

Biscuitsandtea · 03/10/2011 10:50

It's done - in the post - winging its way to her special delivery. In an angry red envelope.

Maybe I could send a Howler like they have in Harry Potter?

Biscuitsandtea · 03/10/2011 10:52

So Generic - what sort of scan is it on Friday?

I feel terribly inadequate but I really struggle to remember who is doing what and when - I'm so hopeless Blush

Is it a HSG, or the ultrasound version of the HSG, or something else?

GenericDietCola · 03/10/2011 11:22

Biscuits it's just a common or garden ultrasound to check up on this growth I've got in my uterus. Last time (3 months ago) it was diagnosed as an adenomyoma (a benign tunour) and I was told to ttc and see what happens. Obviously nothing has happened and in the meantime I have read up all about adenomyosis and adeonmyomas and decided I'd like more reassurance that this is what it is. There may also be things they can do, eg I've read some people have debulking surgery, which may increase chances of conceiving, so I shall be asking about this. There are so many unknowns, but I'm sure I will be getting my ironic BFP this month just as I've set the ball rolling with all of this!

How are you these days? Can't remember if you've had your 12 week scan yet? I am just as inadequate and rubbish at remembering where people are up to you see!

Ta re the angry letter!

ScrambledSmegs · 03/10/2011 11:24

Nope, I love HP too! The books more than the films, but still like them a lot.

Imps7 · 03/10/2011 11:28

Until very recently I thought that the phrase was "communal garden"! It made no sense to me at all although to be honest "common or garden" doesn't make that much sense to me either

Definitely a good idea to get more answers Generic - you just don't want little questions like that at the back of your mind when TTC. I hope you're gearing up for your ironic BFP this month - it will happen!

Another HP fan here too! I even pulled a sickie in my last job so I could read the final book
