New thread ladies, pull up a pew.

OP posts:
Biscuitsandtea · 01/10/2011 08:19

Oh Baby - boo for bfn Sad. I should know this because I'm sure you've said but how many days post ov / late are you?

Maybe too early for BFP? Hope so xx

BabySade · 01/10/2011 08:54

I'm on day 36, UCL is 30-33 days. A couple of months ago I had a 36 day cycle when I had uti & thrush. I'm not unwell or stressed so I don't think there is any reason for me to be so late

BabySade · 01/10/2011 08:56

As for ovulation I have no idea. With being on holiday, I didn't pay attention to EWCM or anything else. Maybe I haven't even ovulated?!

Biscuitsandtea · 01/10/2011 09:11

Well it certainly looks promising Baby - lets all remember Musical and Meconium and their 'late' bfps. I'm keeping everything firmly crossed for you and will continue brooking :)

And good on you for ignoring the whole ewcm thing while on holiday - ttc is hard enough without spoiling holidays too :)

Solars · 01/10/2011 09:34

Oh Biscuits you can never have enough jugs in my opinion, thank you Thanks. The consultant just sent us away with the clomid, no monitoring as you say they don't need to monitor ovulation, but he asked that we come back in 3 months time. Although he seemed quite positive as his parting comment was that he hoped we would have to cancel it if we fall pregnant.

Ninja Thanks that's a promising story and no he didn't mention iui and to be honest we didn't think of it either whilst we were there, perhaps it's hard for them to justify if our results are coming back as normal, in some ways I almost felt last night that I wish there was a problem somewhere so the consultant would have to put us through ivf or iui. I know that's a stupid thing to say so I'm pushing that thought straight out of my head! By the way will be buying some of the citrus redbush tea today as i'm sure it will be going down quite well in this weather.

Oh Baby this all sounds very promising for you, i'm so excited for you, these BFPs seem to take their own sweet time but I'm certain it will appear! and thank you so much Thanks that's another promising story & your womb is wonderful too darling :)

dreamfeeder · 01/10/2011 11:51

Err, generic, that is not on to tantalise us like that. And seriously, nobody is going to let you call 2 smears of blood on a toilet tissue with no need for a pad a period woman!!! there had better be a bloody good reason we have to wait til monday for your BFP!!!

baby, I'm not getting the emoticons either on my not-Mac laptop. Just squares, boo!!! I'm not that far up the road from you and generic, live not far north of Lancaster.

farfalla, they're not going to over-medicalise you, you're just having a few tests, to reassure you and urge on your ironic BFP Grin

I've still got 5 days to wait for my scan- Thursday!!!!!!! Went on a work meal out for someone's leaving do last night. One person did indeed guess I was pg, but luckily asked very discreetly. I can do not telling people, but I am absolutley hopeless at lying, so I confessed. She doesn't even work at the trust anymore though, so I'm not worried about her letting it slip and it getting back to my manager.

little, definitely your month, that acupuncture will make it unstoppable. Not long til your BFP

TheLittleFriend · 01/10/2011 13:02

Baby I feel your pain with the out of control spots. I feel like a spotty teenager some days! Fingers crossed the pee sticks agree with you tomorrow

NinjaChipmunk · 01/10/2011 21:10

oh dear lord i think i have a hangover and i've not even been to bed yet! Thats what you get for going to the pub at 2.30! The shagathon should start tonight but who knows, I may not be able to!

DizzyKipper · 01/10/2011 21:28

Hi all,

Just skimmed through quickly as there's been quite a lot happening since I last had time to come on. Quite disappointed that there's not been much PIAR and we're having to wait for BFPs. Keeping fx for Baby, some ladies don't get a BFP until later on so there's no need to give up hope just yet.

Will try to catch up properly tomorrow if I can, good luck to anyone who's testing tomorrow.

dreamfeeder · 01/10/2011 23:12

I think i missed a whole page of posts before!!! So sorry for my random sounding post...

solars my consultant had her first 'miracle' baby at 42 naturally conceived after 15 years of trying (the 15 years part is not meant to be discouraging, or particularly relevant, just to say some people seem to work differently). She's a friend of a friend who told me about her fertility issues, i don't think she advertises it btw!! I also met a lady at a toddler group last Tue who told me she was 40 when she had her now one year old, and it was a happy surprise. Don't be downhearted.

V excited for all the imminent bfp's, babysade, generic, known and late!!!!

dreamfeeder · 01/10/2011 23:13

Sigh, my phone changed imps to known, sorry imps (but what about my blardy radiator?!?!)

Imps7 · 02/10/2011 07:33

Hello everyone! Hope you're doing nice outdoors things this weekend - my, what fantastic weather we're having here in sunny Cambs!

Solars - hope you're in a much better place today, I really do. You have not left it too late my lovely - just keep on at it and that BFP will be yours.

Ooooh I wonder how Generic and her pee stick are getting on this morning. I really really hope it's good news - it's definitely her month.

Any pee-stick updates from you Baby?? You're probably not going to test for a few days are you Late - didn't you wait for a whole week after AF didn't show up last time you crazy crazy lady?? By those calculations we still have another 4 or so days to wait for your BFP. Arg!

AF is due for me today or tomorrow if it's complying with the usual 11/12 day LP. I've not had any spotting yet so it's possibly unlikely to turn up today. My temps are still high which is encouraging but as with everything month I shall be taking that with a pinch of salt Brooking. No. Argument.

Anyone seen Scream recently? I may borrow a Segway (getting in some practice) and whizz over to the vomitorium to see if she's there.

PopcornMouse · 02/10/2011 09:36

Just a quickie, as this is my only day off work this week and I want to get out and see this mythical beast known as the "Sun"!

CD11 here, so SWI week begins anew, much to DH's satisfaction no doubt! :o

Imps no way is AF going to turn up this month! Brooks with Imps We are so due a raft of BFPs...

dreamfeeder · 02/10/2011 10:29

hooray imps, Brook No Argument!!!! BFP coming up for you m'dear.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 02/10/2011 12:52

Hi Imps! No sign of AF sounds very promising!! I shall be Brooking No Argument extra hard on your behalf for these last few remaining hours days until you confirm the Blindingly Obvious! Those pee sticks haven't got a chance!

Sorry to have been a bit AWOL recently. I'm not using MN at work at the moment in case someone spots me on there and puts together the various clues of my ever expanding belly and general hovering around the bathroom with my sudden interest in parent websites! Two more weeks to my 12 week scan, and then I can finally actually tell people when the smell of their lunch (across the room) is putting me in serious danger of puking all over my keyboard!!

I have been lurking in the evenings and keeping an eye on all the preggos in here! The general whiff of HCG is just out of control! Wink Between Generic and Baby and the others due to test soon, we'll have a veritable DELUGE of BFPs in here shortly! I can't wait!!

I do hope you'll still pop over to the vomitorium Imps and everyone else. I know the PPs (puking preggos) have a tendency to post on the ttc thread alot (myself included!) please please please feel free to come over and do the same on the other thread!

BabySade · 02/10/2011 13:05

Hello just a quick one from me as I'm feeling rotten. Stupid bloody AF has got me this morning 4 days late. I'm really suffering this month. I'm drugged up, have my hot water bottle & am eating lots of chocolate.

I'm still ready with the pom poms for Imps , Generic & Late come on ladies Grin

Dream I went to uni in Lancaster & lived there for nearly 5 years. Am very fond of that part of the world. Thursday better hurry up & get here quick Smile

Thanks for the spot sympathy guys. One of the kids on our street asked me what was wrong with my face yesterday Blush

LateToThisBabyMalarky · 02/10/2011 13:36

Oh Baby, boo for that old witch getting you like that, it's Just Not On. I'm disappointed for you, I hope the discomfort eases for you soon, self-medicating with chocolate is a Very Good Idea Wink
congrats on the first day of your pregnancy Smile

I would invite you to join me on the sofa, but things have - ahem - been coming out rather fast from both ends since 5am... I feel like I'm wasting this lovely weather, but I can't risk even standing up at the mo! (and I have just had 2 weeks of lovely weather in Spain, so shouldn't complain)

Imps, glad you're enjoying the sun - I got all excited when I read your post, no AF, no sign of AF and high temps to boot! Testing is a mere formality! Grin

You're right, I do have a 'leave it until you're one week late' policy, I'll leave it until Sat I think, then I'll know that I'm definitely late, and it's not just a longer post-mc cycle. DH thought the throwing-up was morning sickness (u started the other end too) and I was like 'oh my word, not liking this!'

TheLittleFriend · 02/10/2011 14:05

Sorry you're out this month baby. Not to worry though, we should be getting our bfp's about the same time next month.

Imps sounds like she's going to beat us too it though!

Hope you're ok Late & you're pregnancy ill not just normal ill Smile

Fingers crossed for some happy news from generic soon

Solars · 02/10/2011 14:05

Baby that pesky af, grrrr!!! Really hope you feel better soon but i'm sure the chocolate is helping, here have some vanilla fudge too! By the way I live just outside London in St Albans, we've only been here a year as we've had to move about a lot due to DH's work but we will be permanently here now (thank goodness we can finally settle down now!)

Thank you so much Dream & Imps i'm feeling a lot better thanks and back on to the brooking no argument spirit. Wow 15 years Dream!!!

Imps i'm feeling very positive for you and that imminent bfp, when are you testing by the way?

Ninja hope the hangover isn't too bad after all, did you mange to start the swi?

Late hope you feel better soon, doesn't sound like fun at all.

Right after lots of cleaning and tidying this morning I'm off out to enjoy the sun now so will hopefully try and catch up later this evening, hope you're all having a lovely day :)

TheLittleFriend · 02/10/2011 14:07

ooh, solars, you're only 1/2 hour away from me!

Solars · 02/10/2011 14:19

Well hello neighbour Little :)

CakePigeon · 02/10/2011 14:51

Oh baby sorry AF got you and it's extra rotten this month Sad hope you are treating yourself to something yummy and some wine in the sunshine

Sorry to hear you're feeling rotten as well late hope it's preggo related!

imps! very exciting news! I'm looking forward to your confirmation

It is killing me that generic knows her PIAR result and we don't! Come back

I live just outside London too but south east wards, not really near any notable towns though

NinjaChipmunk · 02/10/2011 17:03

afternoon all, just grabbing 5 mins of peace whilst everyone else is out. solars my hangover is much better today thanks but didn't managed to start the swi yet. Still, me and dp are going out for a meal and to the flicks later and he knows he's on duty when he gets home!
I'm in outskirts of London too, south west side here on borders with Surrey.

baby so to hear af decided to rock up uninvited, hope you feel better soon.

And late I hope you feel better soon too as that sounds rough, you poor thing.

dreamfeeder · 02/10/2011 17:14

baby, how blinking unfair and rude of AF to have us all expecting that bfp and being 4 days late. Never mind, THIS month will be your month. Absolutely. I love Lancaster- when I first moved here I had a massive commute to work but thought it was worth it to be up here! Countryside within 10 min in any direction (bar Morecambe!), and teh Lakes on your doorstep, perfect for us.

late, i have had the squits since 5 weeks, and had horrendous D&V 'bug' at a similar time both times in my first trimester now, I'm hoping it's a symptom!!!!! I am also a waiter not a tester, I was on CD 36 or 37 when I tested and got my BFP. It's always nice to get a very strong line too. As yours will be next weekend Grin.

I know solars, quite some wait... She's a lovely, lovely lady too.

we did lots in the sun while it lasted. It has poured with rain all day here. I have been hurling with some violence all day and feeling miserable and exhausted. Dragged myself out to go to a christening, which we missed as we got so lost in Preston... Made the after party part- well, DH and DD did, I was unsurprisingly puking in the church loos. At least DH is doing DD's tea.

NinjaChipmunk · 02/10/2011 17:21

oh dream you poor thing!
