Thanks Imps this ttc business is obviously getting to me!

Now bubbling & cramps you say - yes I'd definitely say those are sure fire signs of implantation and not windy pops

Morning Smile
What's vitamin b meant for then? Is this why I'm not pregnant yet?! Im reluctant to try the honey as I hate the stuff but the minute we get Generic's BFP it's going on the shopping list Grin

I'd have no idea where to start with flossing but if that will get me upduffed I'll look into it!

Generic it's not AF, its just babygeneric getting settled in

I was very grumpy at work last night & told one of my lazy colleagues to shut up, get off her butt & do some work Blush I'm clearly experiencing some hormonal problems in my early pregnancy it has nothing to do with AF or being sick of running round while she sits down

BabySade · 27/09/2011 17:08

Sorry Imps I missed your post. Classic implantation I say Wink you can believe me as I have a degree in googling possible signs of pregnancy.

GenericDietCola · 27/09/2011 17:51

Oh Imps sounds like implantation to me (I've had the same this month and I am surely pregnant, just waiting for a well-behaved pee stick to confirm it tomorrow).

Solars I think your lack of bleeding gums means you are generally healthier now and can only bode well for your fertility. I don't think there is a cause and effect link between bleeding gums and low fertility, it's probably just that general good health and hygeine is usually related to better fertility. You are definitely pregnant this month. But, yes, you do tend to get bleeding gums later on in pregnancy (forget why).

Baby your moodiness is definitely a pregnancy symptom! I am the same - moody and also a bit tearful and it's definitely NOT PMT

Sorely tempted to POAS or PIAR today even though it would be silly and better to wait and use fmu. It's just I have a few cheapy pee sticks that are burning a hole in the bathroom cupboard!

BabySade · 27/09/2011 18:03

I know what you mean Generic I have a drawer full of cheap pee sticks calling my name.

I'll be checking in before bed tomorrow to see you BFP!!!

Right I'm off to have my breakfast Grin

CakePigeon · 27/09/2011 18:08

imps totally implantation, couldn't be anything else.

Shouting at colleagues is a classic symptom baby I'm sure. What do you do which means you have such crazy shifts?

As for vitamin B I'm not sure but I've heard good things and I'll try anything

CakePigeon · 27/09/2011 18:08

Ps generic do it do it do it do it do it.

How many dpo are you?

GenericDietCola · 27/09/2011 19:27

Well I did it and it was BFN. Not surprised as I am at most 12 dpo and possibly as little as 8 dpo. I think I'll give the pee stick a miss tomorrow and join Baby in comfirming on Thursday.

dreamfeeder · 27/09/2011 19:40

generic, oh, I so want you to be the next BFP. Followed rapidly by everyone else. And not forgetting the ironic BFP's for little, ninja, and have.

I think the bleeding gums and poor fertility thing is linked to gum disease and lowered immune system too, IIRC. But harps you say? I need to floss more, maybe I'll invest.

Reckon your gum symptom is a pg one though solars, or a b vit induced super fertile one... either way, job's a good 'un.

TheLittleFriend · 27/09/2011 20:11

Generic I've got all my fingers crossed for Thursday for you.

GenericDietCola · 27/09/2011 20:13

Thanks Dream I am absolutely brooking no argument that Thursday is the day I get my BFP.

GenericDietCola · 27/09/2011 20:13

Thanks Little!

Solars · 27/09/2011 20:34

Oh Generic you have definitely tested too early and it's not even fmu, I am certain you will get your BFP on Thursday :)

GenericDietCola · 27/09/2011 20:44

Thanks Solars!

I've just been playing on the magic 8 ball asking it all about whether I'll have another child etc and it's being quite kind. Have a play if you wish: www.magic8.co.uk/index.php

The great thing is that you just keep re-phrasing your question until you get the answer you want!

GenericDietCola · 27/09/2011 20:46

Ha ha you can see other questions if you scroll down and 'am I pregnant?' crops up a few times!

Solars · 27/09/2011 20:53

I like it, I fear I shall be on this all night now Generic Hmm

NinjaChipmunk · 27/09/2011 21:23

evening all.
can I ask a question about reflexology? I have thought about having it but I have a veroucca on my foot which I feel i would need to get rid of first. How touchy feely are they when they do reflexology? Is it bad protocol to go with it still there?
generic fingers crossed for you later this week and anyone else who decides to test.

NinjaChipmunk · 27/09/2011 21:28

solars I also have bleeding gums a lot of the time and did wonder the same thing but found an article somewhere on bbc news i think that said it essentially could potentially add a couple of months on to your ttc but nothing major. Will see if i can find the article for you.

CakePigeon · 27/09/2011 21:42

generic sorry about your BFN but Thursday is the day. No brooking whatsoever.

I'm not sure about reflexology ninja glad it's not just me with the bleeding gums thing!

Imps7 · 28/09/2011 06:51

Bring on Thursday and your pee stick confirmation Generic!

Not sure about reflexology Ninja - I've not had it before but would love to. Why not give them a call to see if they'd be okay with a plaster over it or something.

Got a crappy seminar to present at today and have been so unmotivated I haven't prepared probably. I don't even care if I look stupid in front of everyone. I need maternity leave and I need it NOW!

GenericDietCola · 28/09/2011 09:07

Hello all, bloomin' AF turned up overnight so they were period pains after all and I am not pregnant again. Oh well, I feel OK about it and glad I've got other things to try this month - am going to get back on the vitamin B because my last two cycles were only 23 days and I'm going to get some magical preseed. I'm not going to bother buying any more manuka honey - what was I thinking?! I've also got a holiday to look forward to in a couple of weeks and the all important gynae appointment next Friday for which I have a long list of questions. I feel I was fobbed off a bit last time so I am going to insist on more tests to confirm this uterine tunour really is benign and also try to find out more about the likely effects on my fertility and what our options are if we can't conceive. I think their response of 'you shouldn't have any problems and you can try' just wasn't good enough!

Ninja I quite fancy reflexology as well, no idea re verruca but Imps's advice re plaster sounds reasonable to me.

Hope your seminar goes well Imps.

Baby hope you are well and looking forward to your confirmation tomorrow!

Solars · 28/09/2011 09:20

Oh no Generic Bloomin' af!! Sounds like you have a really good plan of action though. Really hope you get some action from your gynae appointment too. Stay positive and be good to yourself.

Ninja I've had reflexology and they were very handsy (to my surprise at my first appointment) I would call them and tell them about the verruca, they may say it's not a problem or ask you to put a plaster on it.

Imps hope the presentation goes well, I was always told when i did them to always believe that you know more about the subject than your audience does!!

PopcornMouse · 28/09/2011 10:24

Oh no Generic! Yes, write out a list of questions for your appointment so you don't forget anything. And brook no argument with them, either!
I'm not entirely convinced by the manuka business I confess, but I'd think that sort of thing would take more than a month to affect your system anyway?

farfallarocks · 28/09/2011 10:34

generic so sorry to hear about AF :( Good luck with the appointment, I always have to write everything down before going to thre docs or I forget half the questions!

Love that game by the way, much better than the yes or no pen which is so black and white!
