New thread ladies, pull up a pew.

OP posts:
BabySade · 21/09/2011 21:48

Hi guys, I'm back!!!! I've just had a really quick whizz through a thousand posts.

Farfalla am so sorry to read what you've been going through. I am glad you have an answer though as the torture of not knowing & trying not to be too hopeful must be awful. I've come back to two mmc at my work today. I am brooking no arguments for everyone & demanding BFPs all round or else.

Musical so glad that the scan looks ok, sounds like it's been really stressful

Maybe can't believe you have had to leave us. You will be really missed. Hope to see you back here with your BFP when you & DH are ready

Imps yay to all the rat smacking Wink

Patient big congratulations Grin

Congrats on the good scans, have Scream & Scarlet both had them? I'm getting confused now.

Who is due the next BFP guys?

Right I think we all need a cheer of

"WHAT DO WE WANT? POSITIVE PEE STICKS
WHEN DO WE WANT THEM? NOW!!!"

BabySade · 21/09/2011 21:49

5 TIMES!!!!!! Oh my god, you are my new idol Duke Grin

dreamfeeder · 21/09/2011 22:03

Duke, i bow down to your No Brooking prowess I'd die if I did it that many times in one day, I'm sure

I got a new phone today and I can't work it At. All. Frustrated.... Confused Feels wierd being phone-less (in a way). Can't even send a text. What was I thinking?! Think i'm still between SIM's but feeling no-phone panic!!

farfalla, what sad news. Try not to worry too much ,horrible to have it happen a second time though, and be so near and yet o far Sad Glad you've got your GP on board. Good luck!

Hope you get a BFP tmw cake and glad you're not feeling too bad ninja. Ironic BFP coming your way in the next month or 2 Grin

Biscuitsandtea · 22/09/2011 06:30

Morning all!

Now Duke I would have understood if your typo referred to the 5 (FIVE!) times in a day rather than the b vits! I daren't even tell DH about that!!

Babysade welcome back - sorry about the bad news at work though - how sad Sad. We'll do some stealth brooking for them (in case they think it's weird to have total strangers brooking for them! Confused)

Bugger, forgotten everything else and on iPad, hold on.....

Biscuitsandtea · 22/09/2011 06:32

.... Oh yes, good luck to Cake and any other POASers today.

I have to confess to being a bit confused with who is where in that respect! Blush

Biscuitsandtea · 22/09/2011 06:36

Right so Popcorn is POAS today too?

Oh, and Duke, we are very lovely in the vomitorium Smile. I totally understand hanging out here for a while (I did) but you are oh so welcome when you're ready. And we've had do many recent bfps there are loads of people posting on both threads Smile

CakePigeon · 22/09/2011 07:26

Morning all.

BFN from me today fortunately I had my monthly cry yesterday as I was so convinced AF was on her miserable way so I'm not a total wreck about it!

Good to have you back babysade

Good luck popcorn hope you have a nicer pee stick than mine!

Imps7 · 22/09/2011 08:30

Oh Cake, sorry about the BFN. Let me say this to your pee sticks on your behalf:

" you, you * . If you think that you're clever or funny you're piece of *."

Baby sorry to hear about your workmates. I had no idea how common MMCs were until joining MN. It really is very scary and sad.

GenericDietCola · 22/09/2011 08:57

OMG Duke FIVE times!! I am in awe!

Welcome back Baby how are you?

Cake so sorry about BFN. Agree totally with Imps re what she said to the peestick. Grr

How are you Popcorn? Hopefully you're off celebrating your BFP with DH.

Imps so jealous of your plans for today. I am at work - booo.

Ninja how are you now after the HSG?

Hello everyone else.

Solars · 22/09/2011 09:15

Oh no Cake sorry to hear about bfn, I second whatever Imps said to your pee sticks, how dare they!!!

Welcome back Baby and how awful for your work colleagues, is this statistic true that 1 in 3 pregnancies can end in a miscarriage? I didn't realise how common it was until ttc. Virtual hugs to your colleagues. My mother-in-law has been to someone who 'tells the future' and without asking me or my husband thought she could ask about us and babies, she was told that it would take us a long time and that I would miscarry, she actually told me this. This happened about a year ago and I was livid to say the least and as you can tell it is still at the back of my mind as the thought of miscarrying scares me! I told her straight away that I didn't want her telling me these things, as such she hasn't mentioned anything about ttc to me since, thank god.

Imps good luck with the macaroons, i've tried making them once and I too didn't have a piping bag but I got them to more or less work without it, what flavours are you making?

Dukes that's amazing and you are so deserving of that bfp!!!

NinjaChipmunk · 22/09/2011 09:32

morning all.
farfalla hope you are feeling ok, good luck when you see the docs.
Thanks everyone who has asked, I am fine after the hsg, just waiting for af to show up now. Its day 25 of a 27/28 day cycle so shouldn't be long, then I'm brooking. No. Bloody. Argument!! I have googled a bit about people having problems getting the dye in when having an hsg and I think it is quite common but not sure if it down to the radiologist or where your cervix is at different times of the month. I have been told to wait a few weeks to get my nexp appointment through but we probably won't get to see anyone till end November! Hopefully we won't have too...
cake sorry about the bfn. That sucks.
baby nice to see you, how was your holiday?
duke I bow to your 5 times a day, thats phenominal. I don't think I ever managed that pre-ds!
imps good to see you too.
About to have a work meeting so better go.

PopcornMouse · 22/09/2011 09:36

Cake what did your pee stick say? :)

It's all over in the Popcorn household. Hello CD1 of ttc cycle 7 :(
Completely gutted. I honestly thought this would be the month, we did way more SWI this month coz we both had the week off.
I stupidly checked FB before I started work this morning and just burst in to tears, it's cram packed with smiley women with babies and "awww she's puked all over me, I love my babyboobookins smoochywoochywoowoo". Think I'm going to have to stop using it for a few months :(

PopcornMouse · 22/09/2011 09:38

Oh cake, so sorry about the BFN :(
I think we should write AF a pushy letter, and tell her we on no accounts ever want to see her again. Ever. well, 9 months would do

CakePigeon · 22/09/2011 09:55

popcorn so sorry to hear that you're feeling blue. I am at my desk struggling not to be visibly upset while everyone around me just seems to want to talk about my colleague's blooming pregnancy yet again. We will have a great next cycle and certainly brook no argument. Together we will prevail!

Imps7 · 22/09/2011 09:55

Popcorn, that smiley woman with baby WILL be you before you know it. Brook. No. Argument. This is your month and we're not having it any other way.

duke748 · 22/09/2011 10:16

Big hugs to Cake and Popcorn. Sad

Be kind to youselves and as soon as you're ready, get back to brooking no agrument. We'll all be doing it on your behalf from now on.

PopcornMouse · 22/09/2011 10:18

Meet you back here in a month for BFP celebrations cake? :)

Poor DH is feeling at a bit of a loss I think. He's currently clearing the garden for the Winter (not a metaphor) and keeps grinning and giving me thumbs up out the window. He went to the corner shop and came back with a card for a place on the highstreet that does Indian head massage (which he said is good for stress, bless his heart).

GenericDietCola · 22/09/2011 13:56

Sorry Cake and Popcorn here's to next month.

Solars your story re your MIL is awful - firstly, it's awful that she went to a psychic to ask that question and secondly it's awful that she would tell you what they said and make you worried. How thoughtless. Of course you must know that it's all codswallop and nobody can predict what will happen to you. plus the psychic obviously didn't know about this thread and that you are brooking no argument so there

Biscuitsandtea · 22/09/2011 13:59

Sorry popcorn and cake - next month will be your month!

Solars agree with Generic - why would your mil think that might help!

farfallarocks · 22/09/2011 14:18

solars I have no words, your MIL (!)

I know how easy it is to think about these things when you are vulnerable though. I have used the Natal hypnotherary CD which has really helped me have a positive attitude about my bodies ability to conceive. In Zita West's book she talks about how negative comments and beliefs can really affect conception in her view.

Sorry popcorn and cake, we are all brooking absolutely no argument for next month ok?

imps so glad your DH is up for it (boom boom), your BFP is just round the corner!!

ninja fx for your HSG!

PopcornMouse · 22/09/2011 14:32

Omg solars, I missed your post and went back to re-read -- what a cowbag! That is beyond insensitive Shock

NinjaChipmunk · 22/09/2011 15:59

solars I can only echo what the others have said. Her lack of feeling is quite astounding!

Well it looks like af has rocked up a bit early this month, day 1 is your first full day yes? If so that'll be tomorrow as I doubt starting slowly at 4pm really counts. Mind you I'm not surprised its early after all that poking about and dye and stuff. Tomorrow I shall most likely be on day 1 of my pregnancy! Hurrah! Now where are those folic acid? Better start being good about taking them again.

Biscuitsandtea · 22/09/2011 16:24

Ninja - yay for AF - since you were HsG-out this month I think it is good news that she's here - you can crack on with next month now. Smile See a rat? Smack it!

My BFP was the month after my HSG..... Wink

Biscuitsandtea · 22/09/2011 16:25

How long does it take to make a macaroon - I'm hungryyyyyyyyyyyy Smile

NinjaChipmunk · 22/09/2011 16:28

yeah me too, I'm starving!

BTW I may not be on here much from tonight until tuesday next week as we are off away to see family for a long weekend. I expect to be gearing up for a shagathon when I come back! Will try to post when I can though.
