Farfalla, god what a nightmarish end to your last cycle. So sorry that your BFP didn't stick about. Get yourself that appointment and BROOK NO ARGUMENT until they have given you some answers. Musical it sounds like you're having a trying time too - glad that the last scan seemed to be positive - we are all brooking no argument that your prawn gets properly stuck in and hangs on in there.

Maybe oh no I can't believe that you've left. If you're still lurking - good luck and see you soon. When you have you little one, you'll look back and say "yes, we made the right decision to stop TTC that year." Everything happens for a reason.

Duke and Patience - HURRAH!!!! I'm so pleased to see that you've whipped those pee sticks into shape. Congratulations!

Popcorn - do not give up hope - a lot of lines don't show up until after AF is due. It is not over, I repeat NOT OVER.

I am officially in the 2ww (1 or 2 DPO - not sure which - had a slight temp rise yesterday but a much bigger one this morning) and am in the running! Despite my concerns, OH has properly stepped up to the plate and I am happy to report that we have had a lot of SWI! Hurrah! I don't even care that much if it doesn't work out this month - I am just so happy that he is properly on board.

Right, must go and pick the rabbits up from their rabbit lodgings.

I am feeling very AF like sadly and have cramps as well. I hope my LP isn't getting shorter as last month was 13 days I think and it has always been exactly 14 . I think I might cave and test tomorrow anyway :o

Duke I'm 13dpo by FF's reckoning (12 by "countdowntopregnancy.com" ). Either way, AF is due tomorrow. I don't feel very pre-menstrual though - this time last month I was close to throwing up and passing out (possibly simultaneously) in a restaurant loo but I feel fine atm...........

ok ok ok I will poas first thing tomorrow BUT you lot have to pick up the pieces if I get a BFN and end up sobbing into the bath mat not that it will be a bfn of course as holiday swi plus no brooking = sure fire bfp .

I'm sooooooooooooo gutted Maybe has left!! A huge loss to the thread! I agree that this decision won't have been made lightly, and I'm sending lots of supportive vibes Maybe's way because whatever the good reasons behind the decision I'm pretty sure she'll be a bit gutted at having to take a break from ttc. I hope her evil boss vanishes overnight in slightly suspicious circumstances, with absolutely no clues left behind except for a couple of lurking rats! Anyways, everything happens for a reason (I hope!) and when it's the right time for Maybe her BFP will pop up! (Probably as soon as she's "not trying"!)

Sorry to hear your news Farfalla, but at least you know where you stand this cycle, and it's really positive that you have an appt coming up for further tests. Brook No Argument with the doctor!

Oooohhh... synronised peeing tomorrow! Yippee! 14/15 DPO is a fab time for POAS. Very impressed with your patience Cake and Popcorn.

I'm good thanks, not in fully flung sickness (I threw up every day for 2 months with my DS)- just a general hangover-like feeling. I'm trying to eat while I can, but not really feeling it to be honest, not even chocolate!

I haven't braved hoping over to antenatal thread yet, I am kind of waiting out the next few weeks to see how things go before I let myself get my hopes up. So, can I hang round here for a bit pretty please?

If anyone wants to know, the things that I think might have helped the upduffness are:

• used ClearBlue Fertility Monitor (which showed me I OVed on day 12 instead of usual 18 this month - so it was all hands to deck so to speak!)

• took 1000mg of B vit complex to lengthen 10 day long LP.

• DTD 5 times on OV day! Thankfully Ds still naps quite a lot. I was definately brooking. no. bloody. argument. (and DP seemed happy to, ahem, rise to the challenge!)

Oh no, I'd missed maybe's departure. I am sorry to see that. Will be thinking of you and hope that your ironic BFP brings you to the antenatal thread soon.

Ninja pleased to hear your HSG went well. Not sure about struggling to get the dye in compared to sperm, but sounds like you could have a good theory.
