I wondered where it went!

Anyway - sorry for going AWOL - been without interwebs for a bit. My online language really is terrible; I promise I'm much better behaved in 'real' life.

Sooooo...

There is now no doubt. I am updiffed. Yippee! A bit shellshocked but ever so happy. EDD 7th May.

Doesn't quite feel real yet...!

Wowee! Congrats mildert. I'll get my act together and do an updated list with a graduates section so we can keep a track of all the BFPs that are coming through (and those to come

Congratulations Milderduck and everyone with BFPs!

I'm going to fess up, I've been feeling funny the past few days and ended up buying some tests on tues. I ended up using them both on both Tuesday and Wednesday and had 2 BFN ( I know, I tested too early, but I just had a feeling it would be positive).

I felt a little nauseous yesterday, but was admittedly ravenous. Boobs still aching, our cat jumped on me and stepped on them - I wanted to scream!

Will try to exercise some restraint and not test until after the weekend.

Congratulations Mildertduck! Have you done your sums yet Louloubella?

I'm 11 dpo now and really really want to test but am holding myself back somehow. My luteal phase length is 11-12 days so I am thinking of testing tomorrow (first day back at work - if good news I won't be able to concentrate, ditto bad) or Saturday. I've also had some symptoms that I haven't had before which makes me wonder... ARGH I just want to know!

People seem to still be posting in the old thread but it won't let me :( Hopefully people will gradually migrate over here!

Well having spent an extensive amount of time calculating and erm extrapolating (can you tell I'm an arts person?!) I have worked out that I am could be due on 25/09. That's assuming that I'm on a 28 day cycle and ovulate on time, etc. Oh well, it gives me a starting point. It does mean that if I did get up the duff this time it'd probably be an early June baby though. Oh well, I'll hang around here a little longer and keep a presence on the June bus just in case cause I'm nosy Grin.

Yey - i found you :) have been lurking like an old alcoholic in a closed down brewery on the other post and was unable to post any further as it was too big :)

Big congrats to those getting their BFPs - we were long overdue some success stories!

I am sitting on 9DPO and obsessing like crazy - sometimes feel like the "symptoms" are dissipating but then i will suddenly get a wave of nausea, niggling cramps and the occasional dizzy spell and think i am back in the game! POAS yesterday and not surprisingly BFN :( but far too early really!! Blush

bradderswantsababy · 02/09/2011 13:49

Well my 2ww is nearly over man its been tough. I haven't been able to resist POAS and have all produced a BFN but as its been before AF is due I guess its to be expected.

AF due tomorrow so I am going to try my hardest to wait to test until Sunday ( assuming I dont get a visit from hag bag)

TMI but I have been getting a lot of CM on my pants and also inside. is this a sign AF is on its way?? Did an OV test yesterday just to check it wasnt that but nope ist not.

Report
GTR2882 · 02/09/2011 13:55

Bradders i too have been experiencing an increase in CM, particularly of the creamy variety (not so much on my pants but more when i go for a rummage Blush) so I am not too sure if this is an AF sign - i thought that CM was supposed to dry up before the arrival of the witch; i have seen a lot of pg charts where creamy cm is in abundance so might be a very good sign, especially if it is creamy! The fact that there is a lot of it would suggest to me that AF is not imminent, but I am no expert :)

bradderswantsababy · 02/09/2011 14:24

fingers crossed GTR but telling myself its not that as its my 1st month of coming off the pill and have no real symptoms (lots of mythical one tho!!) are you in the awful 2ww?

Report
GTR2882 · 02/09/2011 14:28

Indeed I am Bradders currently on 9DPO and going slightly crazy! Have a plethora of symptoms, that are more than likely all in my head (nausea, cramping, dizziness, headaches etc etc!!) - my temps went below my cover line on 7 & 8 DPO but have thankfully gone back up today - am starting to think this is not going to be my month......again! But until AF have to keep positive :)

Good to see that the thread is being discovered!

Bradders, not sure about the CM - haven't heard of it as an AF sign. Might be a wait and see .. good luck for Sunday!

I feel your pain with the pill situation - I came off mine at start of July and only feel now that I'm getting back to an actual cycle. It's crap enough SS-ing without the added unknown of whether your hormones are being normal/not! Hope it's worked first time for you Grin

Congrats to notnow that is excellent news. Sorry that you've experienced loss before so cannot just 'let yourselves go' and be as relaxed and happy about the news as you'd hope. I hope everything goes well.

I'm on CD 25 no symptoms, nothing... even when I REALLY think about it haha!

Still have an overwhelming urge to test anyway why??! tested twice already despite it being way too early and having no signs of pregnancy!

Sigh...

Well i just went and bought some more tests - 2 EPTs and 2 digital, keeping the digi's until i am 110% certain!! I obviously could not wait until the morning to test, and I am that there was the faintest of faint lines! Argh! Am going to treat it as a BFN though because it was so faint you could have blinked and missed it!!

Ello ello! Just marking my place, even though I've missed the May bus now.

Big congrats to the BFPs - glad we got some good results! I have now stopped bleeding and am steeling myself to embark on some serious SWI-ing.

Have also invested in some cheap OV tests from Amazon. When do people who've used OV sticks start testing? Can't remember from last time I was TTC!! Wine, Brew for the BFPs and Biscuits for all!!! :)

Hi, I'm here too!

festiemum, I've got those- just to be sure, I started using them from the last day of AF, and then I knew I wouldn't miss anything!

I just started temping in a new primary school today, and one of the 2 teachers I'll be working with is bloody pregnant. Proper little bump and everything. Sigh.

Hopefully it'll be catching...

Watching re-runs of Lost has been horrible, especially the bits with the baby, I just wah my eyes out. Fortunately DH is very understanding, and used to my erratic behaviour when anything remotely connected to babies happens.

Oh, and speaking of CM... (so glad no-ones referred to it as VD yet- that meant something else where I grew up)... I find that I usually have creamy CM, right up until AF is imminent, when it dries up.

Quick update - the line is definitely a line - but now i am not sure if it's an evap or not!! Damn it!!!! It definitely has some pink to it but not even 50% sure that it's a positive! Now scared to test again in the morning in case it is a definite negative! And with so much creamy cm possibly being a sign of imminent AF (am due weds according to FF) i am starting to think that i am soon going to be joining that June bus!

Report
HeidiHole · 02/09/2011 21:24

Oh fingers crossed gtr I hope it's good news! has your DH had a look? does he think evap line or not? If there is some pink that is a good sign definately!

I'm so wanting to test... but then again I hate getting negatives even when its blatently too early for a positive!

GTR2882 · 02/09/2011 21:31

Thanks Heidi DH did have a look but he says there's nothing there although I have told him that he does not know what he's looking for!! I think he's still in shock! I'm hoping FMU tomorrow will be clearer!!!

ohhhhhh i likey the new stats list! im def on the June bus and have my legs up for all my SWI ops!!!!!! not been many but got a quickie in the afternoon! it felt quite naughty!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to the ref of CM im so totally gone of cream for ever now!!!!!!!!!
quicky on the whole being fertile time i think im going for every other day from now making sure the eggs has a good pick when it arrives!!!!!! DH is loving it so why not and we are enjoying rather then it being a mission so - fancy underwear matching - check, best bed sheets- check, candles - check, early nights for the kids - check( told them they need to get back in the routine for school) thinking of a code word so DH knows and gets ready!!!!!!!!
Good luck for those testing - have all things, (but not legs) crossed for u all

GTR, maybe you're in the same boat as me...Smile I particularly enjoyed making DH poas for comparison purposes so you might try that. The other thing that made me more confident was using a stopwatch for the test because I was paranoid the lines were taking too long to appear but it turns out I just count really fast.

I've now transitioned from the Am-I-am-I-not paranoia to the oh-god-what-was-that-twinge paranoia. I can see that despite all my smug judging of the many, many friends who've had babies already, I am clearly going to be anxious and twitchy rather than cool about all of this as intended.

Hi hi! Been camping this week so had to save BB power for work emails. Was dying to post all week though.

AF was due Monday and I was mighty pissed off that I would be on for whole holiday but it didn't arrive. When it didn't arrive Tues and I got car sick going 10 miles down the road I told DH. We decided to wait and see, then Wed am there was a bit of pink spotting so I told DH I had jumped the gun and had just been late Sad. But car sickness persisted and spotting stopped. By Thurs I was convinced but DH made me wait until we got home yesterday to buy a test.

Went straight to Tesco for a 2pk CBD and POAS. Unbelievably I could only manage the tiniest tinkle - had been pissing like a racehorse every 5 mins all week. Was enough tho, BFP showed within a couple of mins Smile.

So there we are, Operation KUMQUAT has done its job. I'm due on 7 May. DH is very pleased with himself that he managed to do it in one month.

Sorry not had a chance to read the end of the last thread so this post is all me, me, me. Congrats to all BFPs and commiserations to those who weren't lucky this month.

Also sorry if this posts twice. Stupid BB.
