Tibby sorry to hear your news. Mine took a week. You're past that now, though aren't you? I just tried to think of it as not meant to be.

I used to work in a day centre with people with severe physical and mental disabilities and it was heartbreaking to see them unable to cope with basic emotions, or even understand what was going on around them.
As much as it hurts to have things go wrong this early on- chemical pg- we have to be grateful I guess that our bodies understand better what is happening than we do and save us the agony and heartache of having to be in that situation.
Not that I have anything against having children with certain disabilities, but having seen their quality of life, often with parents who don't want anything to do with them any more because they can't cope, it just doesn't seem fair.

Onto my own issues...

I don't think we've managed it this month. 1 day to go til AF and 2 BFNs, different sticks. I feel gutted, although I've just started at a new temp job and it's horribly stressful, with one of the people I work for a shouty cow who's making my life a misery- do I really want to be in the early stages of pregnancy and putting up with that? No ta!

Have worried myself into a proper lather this time, been temping and actually put them into a chart on ff, then found out my bbt dips right after ov when it should stay elevated for a week- so have convinced myself I have some sort of egg defect not producing enough progesterone. ARGH! This is horrible. Will post a link and see if anyone can shed any light on it.

DH is trying to tell me one month's worth of stats is inconclusive, and those dips might have been anomalous readings (him and his big words)... I bloody hope so!

You do realise, Rusulka that you could be looking at an implantation dip right there?!

Your DH is right though. It's too easy to analyse. You've only got one temp under the coverline, and one incidence is not enough to draw conclusions. Work notwithstanding, I really hope you get the result you want this month! xx

Hi all. Rusulka, do you ever sleep with your mouth open???? That can mess with your chart... Just thought I'd throw that out there! I have sleep apnoea, so often have my mouth open and it does lower the temp in the morning. My GP suggested using the DC's ear thermometer as well and comparing the two, to see if I get a more accurate temp. Hopefully though, it will be what festie suggested (v exciting!).

AF due tomorrow, feel rubbish. Did a FR test earlier & negative. Nearly had a cigarette the other night as feel so un-pregnant but am still holding a little hope. Sister v unsympathetic today, said she can't believe I thought it would happen in first three months of trying and I should expect at least 6. She was just being honest I guess.

I am officially taking myself off the list as although AF was supposed to make an appearance on Saturday, she hasnt, and this sadly has nothing to do with being pg :( more the fact that my body is rejecting me and not ov'ing!! I either miss cycles out completely or i have ridiculously long ones - next AF is not due until around 8th or 9th of October so I plan to SWI like my life depends on it and chart in the usual manner!!

Good luck to those testing soon and maybe see some of those on the June bus who are in the same boat as me (hope to not see any of you though, in the nicest possible way!!) Will keep one eye on this board though to see how you are all getting along!!! :)

blonderedhead I'm in the same boat, feeling very un-pregnant and tested BFN on sat and this morning, but still holding onto a little hope! Your sister's comment actually makes me feel a bit better - everyone I know keeps talking as if it is normal to get pregnant instantly, which is making me feel a bit crap!

Thanks moomin and catsy, feeling proper crampy this evening so expecting AF in the morning. Boss announced his gf is pregnant today with their second. Never one to compare myself to others but feel a right royal failure.

Its hard, i have heard another person is expecting and wasnt even trying and so dont know how shes feeling about it all, bad timing for her due to travel abroad for work for a year, and im just like wot the hell!!!!!!

Thanks mama I'm just going to keep plodding on, temping, checking cm and cervix and POAS of the OPK variety and praying that I get a positive very soon!! Am going to aim to SWI every other day with some pre-seed to make sure there is always a fresh supply!! Temps seem to have stabilised somewhat so just waiting for the rise (which if my calculations are right should be around 23rd Sept) although knowing my luck I've prob already missed it :)

Thanks mama, no sign of AF today either but I have only been tracking my cycle for a few months so I don't know how regular I am.

Bought a basal thermometer last month but never got round to temp charting (I'm always a bit bleary in the mornings) so will have to get on it this month. Maybe tell dh to stick it in my mouth when he leaves for work...

Blonde and Moomin - how is it going? Any AF action yet?? Blonde, you are sooo not a failure, though I do sympathise with how you're feeling. It's hard not to feel that way sometimes. But still doesn't make the feelings the truth. I also keep forgetting to take my temp, had to run down to DD1's room with an inhaler this morning, so ended up doing it a bit late and after wandering about the house!

No AF yet, but not really sure if she's expected today or tomorrow, due to weirdness with the CP and spotting last month... Slightly clinging onto the hope of an unsullied gusset, but mostly not expecting to be pg this month, and not wanting to build my hopes up.

Thanks mama and catsy, still hanging in there! I know my cycles can vary as I've have had between 29 and 32 day cycles over the few months I've been monitoring them, and in the past I've had 40+ day cycles. This may well just be a long one! Wasted two different sorts of wizzle sticks getting two BFNs this morning. Am trying to let go of the stress and keep busy with other things.

Good luck on the June bus Rusulka, will more than likely be after a seat myself. GTR hope your body starts behaving itself soon, fingers crossed for you and blonde and catsy :)
