Coriander73 · 06/01/2006 11:10

Excellent news appyday...get bding girl!!!!

Trace, sounds like Cod needs a kick up the backside...she's either winding us all up or is an extremely bitter & twisted person & shouldn't even be on MN.

Still smiling....Am sure I'm giving the game away at work...!! DH has just rung to say that our BT broadband connection has crashed & they aint going fix anytime before Monday! So, I will chat today at work & then you'll all have to forgive me over the weekend...

Been trying since my last AF which was on 16th Dec. - been feeling very queezy today - sicky since I got up. Don't know if it's just cause I have a slight headache (don't usually feel sicky when having headaches) - or could this be it? We have a dd (2.5) and I can't remember how quickly after conceiving you start feeling sicky - shall I go buy a test or would it be too early for it to tell?

Coriander73 · 06/01/2006 11:17

Depends on your cycle I would assume. When are you due? It's probably too early to test unless your 4 days from due date...but hey...sounds encouraging!!!!

MrsWood · 06/01/2006 11:22

My cycle is pretty regular so I should be due for AF at around 13th or so... So, too early then? Dammit, don't know if I can wait!!!

trace2 · 06/01/2006 11:23

MrsWood how mant days do you go ?? you can get sickness staight away, keep us imfored how you go

trace2 · 06/01/2006 11:24

so its 28 days then?

MrsWood · 06/01/2006 11:27

Yep, 27-28 days - when I do go it's about 4 days... I mean, we only did the dead couple of times... (both of us had colds lately - too miserable to do anything)

trace2 · 06/01/2006 11:32

hi cheack this out if your 28days and af was on 16th you carnt test till 9th of this month

trace2 · 06/01/2006 11:32

going out be back this afternoon

MrsWood · 06/01/2006 11:34

Thanks trace2! Will keep you informed.

MrsWood · 06/01/2006 11:37

Here's what it says...

12/16/05 - First day of your cycle
12/27/05 - A little bit fertile
12/28/05 - Fertile
12/29/05 - VERY fertile
12/30/05 - Time to ovulate

1/09/06 - A home pregnancy test may work now.

1/13/06 - End of cycle
1/16/06 - No period? Maybe you're pregnant!
9/22/06 - If you are, this is your approximate due date.

Does "end of cycle" mean that up until then you can get pg if you've been trying? If so, then it's possible!

appyday · 06/01/2006 11:44

AF due Sunday, and got my usual pre AF headache today. Have been a bit down recently, Doc thinks that is what is affecting AF, so at least I won't worry now if I'm not on time (or buy another preg test ).

peachygirl · 06/01/2006 13:10

Hi, a quick hello, lunctimme.
Monsters all in the playground!
Great news appyday!
Just to say I am off for the weekend and won't be logging on until monday so .. have great weekend.

hellomama · 06/01/2006 14:13

I have been feeling tired the last few days - barely the energy to get up and walk anywhere and work has been a real struggle. Today I also feel really quite sick. Could this be IT?! DH already talking to my tummy (v annoying!) Don't think I can test for another week, although did one at work yesterday just to make sure (it was neg!)

Sorry you've been a bit down appyday. This may well affect periods if you're low in mood.

As for family planning clinics - we do also give advice about getting pregnant. We have to know all about fertility as part of the training, so that we can properly understand how contraception works. There are some family planning nurses who also specialise in natural family planning and conception.

Coriander73 · 06/01/2006 14:40

When's your af due?!

DissLocated · 06/01/2006 15:07

Hello! just thought I'd pop in and say Hi, can't really contribute to your ovulation chats yet as I only stop taking the pill on 29th Jan but am vv excited and so keen to join in.

I've not seen the Cod thread but I do tend to avoid her threads as I think her mission on MN is to start controversy wherever she goes for the general entertainment of all. I've seen previous threads where she's said she thinks that people shouldn't post about losing their babies and only people she knows should post birth announcements.

Other people say it's all a bit tongue in cheek but I think it's a bit off and rather cliquey myself, hence the avoidance of her threads.
