Hi ladies

Lissy hope you are well. So sorry to hear about the sickness. Thinking of you.

Mojangles hang on in there, it?s not over yet. Thinking of you my dear.

Level have faith in your embie, it might be just hanging on in there. Did you give it a name? Sometimes people might think that helps you focus, just an idea!

Lucy hugs to you.

Keziah thinking of you.

Rowing November is so close.

Beginnings well done on getting this far, it is such a struggle at times but you are doing so brilliantly.

Italiangreyhound · 28/09/2011 09:44

Our news ..... seven eggs Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

lucylookout · 28/09/2011 10:58

Italian woop, woop that's fab!! When is ET?

Beginnings congrats on such a good scan, and how sociable of the little bean to be waving already.

Lissy what a scare. So glad that everything is OK with the little one. Will you find out gender?

Level I second what mojangles said. They'll have put the best one in and it's in the best place. Keep trying to be positive.

Mojangles it was waaayyy to early to get a reliable result. In no way is it over yet. Try to sit tight and try again on the allotted day.

No news from me. Hope to get results today from ARGC (well I'll call them and hassle them in the nicest possible way Grin). No AF yet, but she should have arrived by Friday.

I was looking on another thread (the over 40s one, Italian I know you're on that one too, seems lovely) anyway, someone mentioned the reiki prayer which I then went off and googled. I've posted it below. I hope it helps any of you who are feeling stressed or anxious, whenever I read it it's like I'm giving myself permission to take a deep breath and just relax:

Just for today, I will not worry
Just for today, I will not be angry
Just for today, I will give thanks for my many blessings
Just for today, I will do my work honestly
Just for today,I will be kind to every living thing

Italian that's fabulous news!!! Fingers crossed for a good number of embryos to match! Grin

rowingboat · 28/09/2011 13:17

Hi all,
wowow it's very, very busy on here!

Italian fab news, I'm thrilled for you!

Lucy I know, ho hum. Not long now until the very interesting results....

Moja sorry, I'm so thick. I knew you were with Serum and that they do the hidden c test. Just ignore my rubbish explanation of what it is! Grin
Please hold on for a later test and try to keep truding on, with your big bass drum banging (have you got knee cymbals?).

Level great news you have the best embie on board, sending positive thoughts. 'Stiiiiiiick, Stiiiiiick!'

Sorry I have to run, but love to all. [waves...]

Keziahhopes · 28/09/2011 15:33

Italian that is a great number Grin hope the next stage continues well for you x

lucylookout · 28/09/2011 19:26

Typical! I called ARGC this morning, spoke to someone who was going to chase up my results and give me a call back. I waited in all day but they called me at home 5 minutes after I finally left the house to pick up DS. And didn't leave a message. And didn't try my mobile. And were closed by the time I got home. Angry
Oh well, will try again tomorrow. At least AF isn't here yet.

Hi everyone

Been offline for a fornight due to laptop meltdown. DP got us a new one today as i felt really out of touch with you all and he felt so sorry for me...

Looks like lots has been going on...

Italian i am so delighted for you. 8 eggs - wow!!! do you have a date for transfer yet? how very very exciting...

Lucy hope you get your results sorted tomorrow morning.

I've got my donor - it was a complete and utter miracle that she appeared so soon and we're a good match!

i'm on week 3 of my mock cycle - week 1 was 1 x progynova twice a day (which didn't work), week 2 was 2 x progynova twice a day (which also didn't work). So now i'm on 2 x progynova twice a day PLUS 2 x Evorel patches (on my backside which i'm not loving). Fingers crossed this works.

has anyone been on this combo? just wanted to check symptoms as i was woken up mid night by bad period type cramps - worse than anything i've had before. any thoughts gratefull received.

Sending lots of love and luck to everyone

x

Italiangreyhound · 28/09/2011 21:10

Thanks ladies.

Italiangreyhound · 28/09/2011 21:16

7 eggs pocket but that is still brilliant as I was not producing any good ones by myself.

Pocket1 · 28/09/2011 21:28

Sorry italian i meant 7 eggs (Still trying to get to grips with the new keyboard). wonderful wonderful news x

Keziahhopes · 29/09/2011 12:23

pocket glad you got a match so soon and that the mock cycle has proved so helpful in getting things right for you.

MoJangles · 29/09/2011 12:28

Italian, how FANTASTIC! Hard to type w everything crossed but not uncrossing till you tell us how many fertilized.

Lucy, the reiki prayer gave me goosebumps, thanks for sharing. how annoying about you result saga!

Pocket I'm on 4 progynova a day, no patches, and plenty of cramps!

One day to go till official results. or at least official blood test. We need dome louder foot tapping please Level (rushes off to buy knee cymbals)

rowingboat · 29/09/2011 12:49

Hi all,
Italian you must be going for transfer at the weekend are you? Is it a 3 day transfer? How exciting for you!

Moja looking for knee cymbals ought to keep you busy for today! Smile Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Pocket great news on the donor! What do the clinic tell you about the donor? Do you actually meet?

Lucy how are you getting on? You are sounding a bit frazzled, I hope they get your results back and you can start to plan.

I'm still having a bit of spotting after AF, something funny and hormonal going on there. I wonder if it is too much oestrogen or too little? Or something else. Any ideas?

lucylookout · 29/09/2011 14:21

Hello,
Mojangles fingers crossed for your blood test. Hope the waiting isn't driving you too mad.
Pocket wow, that was quick!! Great news that you have a match. I bet you can't wait!
Rowing can't help with spotting after AF I'm sorry. Hope all's well with you.

I called clinic again this morning and apparently they'll be calling tomorrow with results. AF could arrive tomorrow too, feels pretty imminent, so I'll keep you posted. But I also found out that if I do have to take another dose of Humira (if my levels haven't come down. 20% people apparently have an immunes 'flare', that means another dose) the delay would only be 2 - 3 weeks, so next cycle still a possibility too. I do have the feeling that I am inching closer and closer to some activity!

Italiangreyhound · 29/09/2011 15:05

I've got pesseries and Progenova and I have been warned about cramps, had a few today. It is weird.

Well, five of our eggs fertilised! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Thanks for all your good thoughts/prayers and cares.

Mojangles hugs to you on the two week wait. Who else is on the tww?

Keziah, Lissy and Beginnings, -hugs to you on the ?bench? (pregnant) who else is pregnant, I?m confused!

When are you schedule to start Lucy, next month (Oct) or still undecided.

Hugs to level, Pinkapples, Scrummy, Rowing, Pocket, Flip, Womanly, woowa and fretfree.

Baby dust hi to all.

Italiangreyhound · 29/09/2011 15:08

Rowing our clinic does a two or three day wait, so usually two days (unless it happens on a Friday, then a three day). I know some clinics d a long wait. Don't think ours usually does, usually two that's what they always used to do but have heard now that they also do Saturdays sometimes.

Keziahhopes · 29/09/2011 17:34

5 fertilsed is great from 7 eggs Italian - lets hope they all continue so you have lots of choice!! Will you have 2 put back if you can?

beginnings · 29/09/2011 18:36

Italian what fantastic news! I've everything crossed for you!

Lucy that sounds pretty frustrating. Hope younger the news you want tomorrow.

Thinking of everyone else....

Teds77 · 29/09/2011 19:46

Just popping in to say thank you to beginnings for your Lister suggestion. Absolutely wonderfully lovely to be told it's impossible to draw any conclusions from our failed cycle, loads of positive comments and a plan to start a second cycle (all tailored to me) any day! So huge thank you Grin

Hope all is going well with all you lovely ladies whatever stage you are at, I'll probably be hanging out on the other ICSI/IVF thread but I will pop back here too if you'll have me!

rowingboat · 29/09/2011 20:55

Hi all,

Lucy not again! I bet they know and they have a bet on how long it will take until you go down there and throw things at them. Shock Good that you have a bit of information so that you can update your project management/IVF software. Grin

Italian great news, it's all a bit real isn't it!!! After all this time, it must seem a bit surprising. Does this mean you have transfer tomorrow, is it 2 days from collection? Do they do transfers at the weekend?

Moja did you find the knee cymbals - saucepan lids would do if you didn't manage. Very best of luck tomorrow, remember first morning urine - which could mean 5am I suppose.

Teds that sounds very positive. Hopefully this next cycle will do the trick for you.

Hi to Keziah, Beginnings, Fret, Lissy and everyone else

beginnings · 30/09/2011 07:30

That's great news Teds I'm really glad it's worked out. They are great. I was there for what will hopefully be the last time on Tuesday and I felt a little like I was leaving home as I left! They take such great care of you....the very best of luck and keep us posted as to how you get on.

Italian thinking of you today and sending sticky thoughts!!

lucylookout · 30/09/2011 11:12

Lots of luck for today italian. Looking forward to hearing what your names are for them!
Mojangles how did you get on today m'dear? Thinking of you and have everything crossed.
AF still not arrived. I'm sure I'm not pregnant. I think it's just the Humira playing silly buggars with my cycle again. In fact I got EWCM last night (sorry, too much info Blush) so maybe I'm ovulating super late and won't get it for 2 weeks. Oh well

OP posts:
rowingboat · 30/09/2011 14:20

Hi all,

Moja how did you get on today sweetie? I hope that busking is working out for you? Smile

Lucy this is driving you nuts isn't it! I remember being crazed by it all, it's so frustrating. On the plus side you have time to get into great shape, although I'm sure you are already. Did I post you this link already? If not, it's something to keep your mind occupied: you know, refocus the obsession. Smile

Italian how are you getting on? Any news yet????

I started taking red clover yesterday after feeling quite anxious and depressed along with the continued spotting. I thought I would try raising my oestrogen levels a little bit and it seems to have worked so far, feeling a lot more mellow and the spotting is absolutely minimal now. Nothing like self-medicating is there! Grin

lucylookout · 30/09/2011 14:50

Just called ARGC and my cytokines have gone up, not down. Really gutted Sad
