Well ladies. I am in shock. My unbelievable donor has given me 14 eggs?!?!? I cannot believe it - I also cannot stop crying. Am expecting a call tomorrow to see how many embies we have. I need a drink!

scrummy sorry phone has been playing up and couldn't get on the board, I think I start 6th Feb after taking Yasmin pill from beginning of Jan. Seeing consultant when back from holibobs on 13th Jan so Italian we could be cycle buddies?

My scan was good. No cysts and 3 follies already on the go. Based on my scan and bloods they've decided to go for a non-medicated IUI. So am going to have a nice drug free week ahead of my day 10 scan next Monday.

I had another scan yesterday to check on my follies - not a lot has changed since Friday despite doubling the dose of Menopur. My ovaries are being stubborn!!!!! My womb lining had increased from 6mm to 9mm, still the same number of follies and no real growth (maybe 1mm since Friday) so I came out of the scan and had a wobble. More Menopur and Buserelin on order (more money spent!!) and just wondering what the heck is going on with my follies?!! I'm now on day 12 of stimms and still no sniff of when EC will be. I have another scan on Friday so that'll be day 15 of stimms.
Is there a limit on how many days they will let you stim for?
I'm worried sick that there will not be enough growth by the time I go back on Friday.....could there be a chance that this cycle will be abandoned? Or if there is a little bit of growth will they just keep me on the stimms until they get the growth they're after?

Help!! Has anyone been in the same boat?

Just a quickie from me. I had scan and all ok. Bean in right place, measuring 2.3mm and heartbeat clearly visible. I can't tell you all how relieved I am. That's one more hurdle over x

scrummy all sounds like it's going well and nice that you are going to try it drug free. Re holiday we are being really naughty and going to the Maldives but decided we deserved it after a horrible year of bereavements and sad family events that have happened.......and able to pay for it courtesy of my lovely aunt that left me some money....

Just had another acupuncture session and highly recommend it

fishfingersarnie, sorry I can't offer any advice as my treatment was different. It took 3 goes to get my meds right but they did it and I'm sure they'll get it right for you too, come on those follies.

Lucy, really great news about Bean and that you can relax a bit. Whats next for you?

Big hello to everyone else

AFM thanks for all your kind wishes. It looks like a Thursday transfer, unless I get a call on Thursday morning to move it to Saturday for 5 day blastocyst.

I also wanted to share a story with you - I had a heart to heart with a dear friend of mine a few days ago - and we shared our assistant conception stories. After a couple of MCs, she fell pregnant on her 11th Chlomid month - with twins who are adorable monkeys. Her story is even more heartening since she was told IVF would not work. hope there for us all methinks.

scan on tues was good sorry had no time to post earlier. 4 on rt between 9 and 12mm, 3 or 4 on left similar. lining good. repeat scan 8 tomorrow so early start again. Horrid day at work today. but hey ho
