:)

Biscuitsandtea · 14/09/2011 09:20

Meant next month, not next week - d'oh!

(Although I'm still holding out a wee bit of hope for implantation bleeding)

farfallarocks · 14/09/2011 09:21

Ah you lot are lovely, I really don;t know what I would do without mumsnet :)

Go more mental than I already am, for sure

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 14/09/2011 11:04

Farfalla it's all already been said, but I just want to echo that it's not over until AF is in full flow! I still have my fingers crossed for you this month. However if there is some sort of temporary glitch (caused by the evil witch) you'll be in good company for your June bug! Your BFP is just around the corner!

CakePigeon · 14/09/2011 11:30

Hello all! just a quicky from me as I have had my iphone stolen (boo!) and that is how I usually post. so if there are any crazy posts - you can blame the phone thief!

congrats to all the BFPs - thoroughly amazing news guys, I'm so so pleased for all of you! yay! :)

sorry to hear about impending AF farfalla hope it is implantation instead and fingers firmly crossed for you. anyway, june bugs are clearly where it's at.

DH and I are in Hong Kong now and hopefully haven't jinxed it all by buying a nappy bag Blush oh dear it was AMAZING though and as DH works with children I can always say it is for his work... maybe. and it was half price and totally lush. oh dear me! :o

no real news from me other than mega amounts of thick cm. I mean i could do with suspending a bucket. it's hideous.. hope that is a symptom of something! also I have broken my no drinking vow already oops

scarletfingernail · 14/09/2011 11:59

Congratulations Knitty see you in the vomitorium.

Farfalla Sad sorry to read your update. As everyone else has said though, it's not definitely all over yet.

I've had my 8 week scan this morning and all is well. A tiny embryo with a heartbeat, what a relief. My EPU were much more lovelier than when I had my MCs weirdly, and have offered me another scan at 10 weeks. So I'm going back in a fortnight and will still have my 12 week one as well.

Sn0wGoose · 14/09/2011 12:39

cake I've read that as described as an implantation symptom!! You're about the same place in your cycle as me iirc, so it would be timely! :o

scarlet that's amazing! How kind of them too :)

ScrambledSmegs · 14/09/2011 12:44

farfalla I'm so sorry, although I'm also on the side of 'it's not over yet'.

Great news scarlett! 10 week scan as well, you lucky thing.

Thick cm, hmm? Cake It's not a symptom I've ever heard of, but then some of the other well-known ones were news to me. Excessive drooling was one a friend had, she was very upset by it!

thelittlefriend · 14/09/2011 13:06

Congraulations Knitty. This is sooo the most fertile thread!

And great to hear about your scan scarlet. I remember the feeling of relief after seeing my dd's heartbeat for the first time, it really allows you to enjoy the pregnancy a bit more.

BartletForAmerica · 14/09/2011 13:08

scarlet, wonderful news about the scan!

cake, boo to the phone thief! Buying the nappy bag is a clear indicator you are pregnant. We just look forward to the pee stick confirmation. When is AF not due?

farfalla, it's not over until the fat lady sings. Hoping AF doesn't show up and that it is all implantation pains you're suffering from.

Thanks for the encouragement, biscuit and Sn0w. I've not done a CBD, just used a couple of the cheap Amazon ones. My longest cycle since DS has been 30 days and I am on day 29 now, so there is still no sign of AF by Saturday, I'll do then. When I was pregnant with DS, the first few days the tests were very faint as well so I'm hoping this little one will stick and that I am just being silly!

So who are the next BFPs? People testing tomorrow?

dreamfeeder · 14/09/2011 13:46

bartlet a line is a line is a line. The wonderful rule about the false negative possible but false positive not possible holds true. No HCG = no line. HCG= line= pregnant. You are indeed preggers!!!! If you have convinced an amazon cheapie you are pg indeed Grin

I don't know what to do with myself, my little horror darling has been asleep, in her STATIONARY pushchair for an hour. This has never, ever happened for me before. I am so pleased of the sit down. Not doing anything useful though... I think she's ill or teething. She's not normally a crier or a whinger and thats all she's done today poor poppet.

sn0w, absolutley pg. hormonal dirty-house rage is a sign i've had...

GenericDietCola · 14/09/2011 14:23

Yay congratulations Knitty! Great news Scarlet as well - so pleased you are being well looked after. The brooking no argument is clearly working throughout pregnancy too!

Farfalla like everyone else has said, I hope you are wrong, but if not, you can have a June bug too. Really glad you had a good talk with your DH and he understands it all a bit better. I rarely talk to my DH about it and if he had any idea how much I think about ttc and babies he would think I was mad! We do mention it a bit, but I think like many blokes he thinks it will all happen soon enough and that we shouldn't worry, but like you and Biscuits said, I notice every little sign in my body and can't help but think about it!

Bartlet please don't worry - you will be fine, but I agree that another test in a couple of days is a good idea.

Hello Dream!

Better dash - DH is not well so I'm working from home and trying to look after DD too! She's napping now, so time to get on with a bit of random googling work.

duke748 · 14/09/2011 14:28

Hi all! Waves!

Bartlet - when I was pregnant with my DS I went to Cuba 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant (was supposed to be baby making holiday Grin).

I had a big bleed before I went and thought I'd lost him. I took a zillion pee sticks (cheap Amazon ones too) during that two weeks and they seemed to get progressively lighter and I really though I'd miscarried (especially with another big bleed whilst away) but when I got back I had an 8 week scan and saw my little bean with a nice strong heatbeat. This time I have told myself that I won't drive myself crazy with them. Please don't do it to yourself!

I am POAS tomorrow. I'm only 9 DPO, but Thursday was the day I got my BFP with my DS so it seems lucky to me. Also my usual luteral phase is 10 days so its technically 1 day before AF due. But I have been taking B vitamins so I hope its lengthened.

Congratulations to all the BFPers! Fab news. Grin

maybebabyR · 14/09/2011 14:39

Brilliant scan news Scarlet so pleased they're looking after you.

Cake rubbish about the phone, but hurrah for a nappy bag Grin Hope you had an amazing break away. CM sounds good. In a way only CM can.

Your poor DD Dream hope she feels better soon.

Duke will be keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow

Sn0wGoose · 14/09/2011 14:55

community.babycentre.co.uk/post/a405685/cervical_mucus_an_early_sign_of_pregnancy
CM in early pg :o

This be your ten minute warning to imminent namechange-o-rama. I chose snowgoose on a whim and never really liked it.............

PopcornMouse · 14/09/2011 15:00

Good luck Duke, I look forward to celebrating your BFP tomorrow! :o

maybebabyR · 14/09/2011 15:10

Ooooh, a name change, love it Popcorn or do we call you Mouse?!

PopcornMouse · 14/09/2011 15:21

Or Mopcorn... lol

dreamfeeder · 14/09/2011 15:33

i think i need a name change, touch wood no longer doing the middle of night feeds til the next one

i also had a bleed at 5 weeks with DD, and a bigger one at 22 weeks. All fine. Not that i got checked out, DH wanted to wait and see, was before viability stage anyway, DD was still moving well, i stopped bleeding and just mentioned it at my next appointment i think...

dreamfeeder · 14/09/2011 15:34

oh, cake, i have an urge to see your nappy bag now!

PopcornMouse · 14/09/2011 16:30

Yes, nappybag porn please! :o

Popcorn mice are what we call the wee fieldmice that our cat brings home on a regular basis. Coz they look like popcorn :o

Wants3 · 14/09/2011 16:59

Yay,more BFP's. I still have a FR and a CBD sitting in my drawer and haven't been tempted to use them although when the lines disappear on the first one I might have to reassure myself again. I have been having funny feelings in my tummy and am finding a lot of my clothes uncomfortable, probably due to bloating a bit. I think I am overdoing it at work because I have a slight ache at the end of the day but difficult to not do some things as pg not public yet!

farfallarocks · 14/09/2011 17:30

scarlet excellent news about the scan and how nice to have that sort of reassurance

Good luke to duke tomorrow

congrats knitty fab news

FX for your cake, love the forward planning

Thanks for all the encouraging words, more cramping and spotting, I really do think I am out but you are right, not over till its over, will keep you posted!!

dreamfeeder · 14/09/2011 17:31

Oh dear wants, thats why i'm secretly pleased due to my public vomming at DD's party this pg is out the bag- SO hard to keep the first trimester when you feel so awful a secret. Try and slack off for another excuse if possible- headache, dodgy tummy, anything that might work to make it a bit easier for you?!

I struggled with my last pg. My job is relatively active and physical and I didn't dare let up because it would have been obvious- I work with children, so to do less initially I would have had to have someone else with me to do the physical part or not go. So I just did everything. PLus walking, running, and swimming. I exhausted myself last time! Was convinced if I stayed very fit I'd breeze through labour. Think i took it too far. I remember doing a walk where we got lost and had to climb an 8" wall when I was 37 weeks. I was pleased I could still scale walls the size of a whale. What an idiot.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 14/09/2011 17:46

Hee hee Dream when I read your post I had an image of you taking a walk through the land of Lilliput and coming across a minature wall 8" high Grin I'm only teasing, I realised it was a typo a heartbeat later, but not before I had this crazy image of mini people running around behind the mini wall and you and your DH having to step over it to escape!!
