Hi. I spotted from due July 06 thread that IamBlossom had started this new thread.

I was a serial lurker over the summer and autumn of ttc threads.

Want to wish you all lots of luck - it will happen!

Snowballstrike · 08/12/2005 15:14

Hi Norms. I'm in the same position as you. CD21 feel the most unpregnant I've felt so far. I've got friends coming this weekend for pre Christmas Weekend jollies and I don't know if it's wise to join in the drinking or not. I think I might join in but less than normal, eat while drinking and have lots of water. That way if by some mircle I turn out to be pg I won't feel too bad, but if I don't then I won't feel I missed out too much. What to you think you'll do?

(actually I'm a bit worried that because I don't feel anything this month, and xmas is coming up, it'll be sods law that i am pg!)

Sorry to drop back in, not too good at regular posting Love the new thread title. Good luck for all testing soon

trix1 · 08/12/2005 17:24

Hello girls, don't know if this has been posted here before but I came across this EDD Calendar when I was looking something up for a friend. I thought I'd share as I think it's pretty good, and would have liked it when I was in your position.

(good luck btw!)

trix1 · 08/12/2005 17:33

A BFP - I am shaking, in total shock I have had so many BFN over the last 12 months some months testing up to three times.

A clear blue is fairly reliable isn't it????

carlychristmas · 08/12/2005 17:34

trix1 · 08/12/2005 17:37

fairydust · 08/12/2005 17:37

Hi all here's hoping this is a lucky thread,
Well AF has arrived for me which is a rare thing so i'm all excited

trix1 · 08/12/2005 17:38

Good for you then Fairy.

Carly - dh should be home in about half an hour but as I am desperate for him to come in the door and he has left his phone it will probably be longer.

carlychristmas · 08/12/2005 17:43

i am ttc my third on cd26 but tested yesterday and bfn i usually have cycle 28-29 days but im pretty sure i ov'd cd13 due to ewcm (sorry ladies tmi) so i was convinced i would have an early bfp but nothing yet i would like to not test until saturday but im useless with things like that

trix1 · 08/12/2005 17:45

carlychristmas · 08/12/2005 17:49

trix1 · 08/12/2005 18:32

Carly - just do a test. Go on

JAG123 · 08/12/2005 18:56

Hi

Sorry haven't posted for about a week whole family has been down with a nasty stomach bug. (Mind you i'm not too good at regular posting either.

I'm on cd7 & also in the position of Christmas works do next Fri which should be a couple of days after ov. I've decided i'm going drink what i want. I don't do it very often so i don't think it could do much harm.

I had a quick glance through the thread, i hope everyone is starting to feel a little better.

Great thread title by the way>
Lets hope its lucky for us

Artoo · 08/12/2005 19:00

Hi ladies, and thanks to IamBlossom for starting the new thread.

First of all, congrats to Trix1 on that BFP - let's hope that's a really good omen for us

Time for re-introductions I think - I've kind of lost track of the old thread. So here's me:

I'm Artoo, 34, trying with DH (35) to conceive our first child. Been trying since July, using BBT to monitor my cycle after coming off the Pill (been on it well over 10 years). Noticed that my luteal phase seemed too short (7 days), so went to see doctor, and started taking vitamin B6. The B6 extended my LP to 10 days, and day 21 blood test showed low progesterone (20.5 when you are looking for 30-35). GP has referred us to the Gynaecologist, and our first appointment is December 20th.

I was very depressed last week, as I totally failed to OV last cycle - confirmed by both BBT and OPKs. I'm hoping that was a one-off and not anything more sinister. We did undertake a long haul flight on about CD8, which I understand can through things off.

CD1 today, a new cycle, a fresh start. I'm taking EPO, drinking Fertilitea, and I've started accupuncture. I'm at the "I'll try anything" stage!

Good luck to us all, let's have some more BFPs for Christmas!

Hugs,
Artoo.

Jen1209 · 08/12/2005 19:25

Hi all!

Quick catch up from me too as the week has flown by! Congrats to Trix1 - what a quick BFP for this new thread - lets hope it continues to be lucky for us!

Well, I had my 2nd apt with the infertility Dr (first was at beg of Oct when I was actually pg but didn't know it) I asked about the blood test my friend had had done privately as I wanted them done too and wanted to know where to go in Colchester for them. The Dr said that she didn't want me to get all stressed about the tests and that she would put me forward for them to be done on the NHS!!! Most people have to wait until they have had 3 m/c's before they start this so I am really pleased. Now all I have to do is wait for AF to start as the first set of tests are done on CD2. Currently on what must be CD38 after m/c

So that's it from me. Glad we have the new thread and hope you are all ok.

loubag · 08/12/2005 21:17

Norms and snowball - i''m in the same position as you -CD22 today. like you I'm feeling 'unpregnant', except for sore boobs, but I'm not sure what else I might expect to feel if I was! Would I be feeling sick or anything if I was pg?
even after 2 months of ttc, I'm fed up of people asking why I'm not drinking etc!

Saskia909 · 08/12/2005 22:37

Hi there
I was about to join the last thread when I saw it was ending for this one. I'm a lapsed person who has only "lurked" since DS2 was a baby. To introduce - Me 40, DH 35, DS1 13, DS2 2 and a half. Ttc for about 6 months now. I've never had any trouble b4 but I am 40 (aagh!) so it just may not happen. Which makes me feel a little down. However the giving and receiving of support and baby wishes can only help so here I am. And this is a lucky thread! So good luck to absolutely everyone, with only a tiny bias towards us older "last chance" mums. BTW I'm absolutely crap on all the acronyms!

Saskia909 · 08/12/2005 22:43

I forgot to say - Snowballstrike and Normsnockers - I honestly would not worry about throwing caution to the wind over Christmas if you are ttc and not sure if you are pg or not. Unless you are totally over-the-top binge drinkers I think you can only do yourselves and your potential bumps good!
