New thread, hopefully not clashing with another new thread! This Is Our Month, Rat Smackers.

OP posts:
TinFairy · 18/07/2011 22:04

My god! The pregnancy hormones are overwhelming in here.

Mind if I stop stalking lurking and join you all?

I am obviously already totally preggers having only come off the pill 3 weeks ago and haven't a scooby when/if I ovulated but just to be on the safe side, I've gone and booked an All Inclusive holiday in the sun in 3 months. That should do the trick, shouldn't it?

I have also invested in a CBFM which should commence use on first day of next cycle but since I am already clearly updiffed, that will have been a heeeooouge waste of cash, no?

jaggythistle · 19/07/2011 06:37

Damn, i got one of those wrong pee sticks too. They really ought to check their QC department...

However I am of course still pregnant as can be. Also I have no idea when this month's egg was laid so anything could happen.

Hey TinFairy. Sounds like it would be the Worst Possible Timing when your obvious pregnancy is confirmed eh?

Imps7 · 19/07/2011 07:00

Oh big fat hairy bollocks. I didn't ovulate yesterday - temp still low today. I could have sworn I did - the cramping! The pink CM! The fact that CD 18 tends to always be OV day! Really pissed off actually - OH away last night, tonight I'm going out straight after work and won't be back until about midnight when OH will undoubtedly be asleep - WHY CAN'T I JUST BE ABLE TO HAVE A SHAG AT THE PROPER TIMES LIKE OTHER PEOPLE???? It REALLY pisses me off.

This anger is clearly pg related. Clearly this just means that my gestational period will be 17 months, rather than 16.

So much baking going on in here! I must get in on the act

jaggythistle · 19/07/2011 07:03

My ov hid last month until I was at my parents house for a few days, so had to try and quietly SWI while there. Then it appeared to occur AFTER WE GOT BACK FFS.

Imps7 · 19/07/2011 07:18

The irritating thing jaggy is that I can't tell OH when I'm ovulating or appear to0 keen to have a shag, otherwise the pressure gets too much for him and he can't come up with the goods. It's beyond frustrating but we are where we are.

Anyway, I shall reject this gloomy outlook in its entirety for the rest of the day...POSITIVE PEOPLE GET POSITIVE PEE STICKS!!! WHAT DO WE WANT? POSITIVE PEE STICKS! WHEN DO WE WANT THEM? NOW!

Imps7 · 19/07/2011 07:19

("to0"? Random typo)

TinFairy · 19/07/2011 07:44

Oh yes, Imps...timing literally Couldn't Be Worse.

Looks like I won't be able to breastfeed TinBaby as my boobs are so itchy this morning I have just about clawed them off. If that's not eczema a pregnancy symptom, I don't know what is!?

sims2fan · 19/07/2011 08:30

Hello all, I think that positivity and brooking no argument is definitely the way to go so I'm joining in, if that's alright.

I am definitely pregnant as my husband and I had swi 2 nights ago and since then I have had terrible indigestion pains, and also felt really sick last night. I don't care that 'experts' say you can't have symptoms so early - they are clearly wrong as I am pregnant. I wish I could have more swi just to make sure but unfortunately my husband is on 12 hour shifts atm, gets in at 10.30 pm and claims he is knackered. Still, doesn't matter as I am pregnant now anyway!

maybebabyR · 19/07/2011 08:43

Morning Rat Smackers!

Imps that egg is indeed being elusive. Perhaps because you are already pregnant Smile

And I sympathize with those with DHs that work shifts/away a lot. Mine works a week of days followed by a week of nights

I just felt sick eating my breakfast! Dragging myself off to work now, despite still feeling a tad under the weather. And is it just me, or does everything smell like curry this morning?

farfallarocks · 19/07/2011 12:55

Fanny cams, chanting, reluctant DH's on night shifts. I missed you, you crazy lot!

Imps I had pinkish discharge around implantation, are you sure its not that as clearly you are pregnant?

Just had a peak at the Antenatal grad thread version of this and its blinking hilarious. We all need to migrate over there sharpish.

Just nipped into Boots at lunch and bought first response and then spotted 5 colleagues, had to pay and rush out sharpish.

Promised myself I would not POAS until the weekend though, hmmmmm

GenericDietCola · 19/07/2011 13:22

Right - I need you lot to get me feeling positive again. I am now bleeding AGAIN only 10 days after my 5 week mega-bleed. WTF is going on? Apparently adenomyosis can result in irregular bleeding but I am choosing to believe it is implantation. Who agrees with me?

Farfalla - so excited you are confirming your pregnancy this afternoon in the loos at work at the weekend!

Imps you are already pregnant, so you don't need to worry

Hello newbies and everyone else

thelittlefriend · 19/07/2011 13:25

oh generic sorry to hear your body isn't playing the game correctly. fwiw, nor does mine, i'm bleeding again after 13 days. I have everything crossed that yours is definitely an implantation bleed. Is your condition like endometriosis? Sorry to be thick, and don't feel you have to tell me if you don't want to!

GenericDietCola · 19/07/2011 13:32

Hello littlefriend yes, I think it's like endometriosis, but the muscle of the uterus grows into the lining and you get random bleeding. Only just been diagnosed - no idea how long I've had it (no symptoms until recently and only diagnosed by accident when I was having a scan after a miscarriage).

Do you know what's causing your random bleeding? Obviously it's implantation, but you know...

Imps7 · 19/07/2011 13:32

Hmm, I am quite tempted to take a trip to the new thread - I feel like I need to rub myself up and down some Pee Stick Endorsed pregnant people so that their luck rubs off onto me

farfallarocks · 19/07/2011 13:33

Ah, you got me, obviously nipped into loo, BFN (of course, but that is JUST because it is too early to test, naturally)

Generic - what kind of blood is it? Brown? Is it spotting or full flow?

Might be ovulation?

Imps7 · 19/07/2011 13:33

"anyway" = "anywhere". Pesky baby brain.

thelittlefriend · 19/07/2011 13:38

Do it Imps, I just popped in to get some pregnancy luck rub off on me

Generic don't know about my random bleeding yet, it's being investigated though. Appointment next week might shed some light, fingers crossed.

thelittlefriend · 19/07/2011 13:39

Oh my, apologies for the grammer in my last post. Blush

GenericDietCola · 19/07/2011 13:42

Imps I am off to rub on the thread too. Thanks for reminding me re the obvious implantation.

Farfalla it's just too early - remember the saying absence of evidence is not evidence of absence

Bleeding is light - had enough to wear a pad overnight and a bit more this morning, but seems to have stopped now. Surely this is textbook implantation, non?

GenericDietCola · 19/07/2011 13:44

littlefriend hope it's something perfectly normal and pregnancy related. Are you having a scan? I have become a celebrity at my local hospital because I was there so much and saw so many consultants before they settled on a diagnosis. I have another scan in Oct but I won't need it as I'll be preggo by then anyway.

maybebabyR · 19/07/2011 14:58

Farfalla Obviously you are pregnant, it was just because you weren't using FMU.

I have been frequenting the ante-natal thread too. Can't wait to move, obviously only a matter of time now Smile

Sounds like implantation all round ladies!

MooseCakey · 19/07/2011 15:51

Generic - sounds just like implantation to me, all the more reason to stay positive!

I'm still thinking my bleeding last week was implantation but the sticks continue to disagree.

havealittlefaithbaby · 19/07/2011 17:03

Clearly all this positivity is influencing me more than I thought, I got a wedding invite for September with details on where you can stay. It's about an hour's drive over there. I had a thought of "well I may as well drive because I'll be pregnant then"!
farfalla clearly the pee stick is stupid and it just didn't recognise the hcg because its not fmu. It'll come good at the weekend.
generic and moose Yup implantation. Obviously!

farfallarocks · 19/07/2011 17:07

That is the spirit havealittlefaith!

I have 2 weddings in December, I have already chosen my chic maternity wear here www.isabellaoliver.com/maternity-clothes/uk/100/maternity-dresses/DR052.html

Has anyone else become obsessed by mumsnet? I am trying to be productive an high powered at work, especially as I will be on maternity leave soon but keep on getting drawn on here. GAH!!

maybebabyR · 19/07/2011 17:55

Loving that dress Farfalla Mind if I buy one in the plum?!

I am obsessed my mumsnet too. But it makes me feel sane being around all you obviously pregnant ladies!

I have a wedding in under 2 weeks. Obviously I will have my BFP by then, so am planning on not drinking Grin
