waves to nurse thanks for the congrats. Wow at being at 27 weeks.....I'm just nine right now and it seems to be going soooooooooo slowly.......

What's everyone doing today, quiet on here???

Wormshuffler · 03/07/2011 20:33

Hi Ladies
Well isn't facebook interesting!! I am now even more convinced than ever that yellow is a spook, your facebook is sewn up as tighter than I even knew was possible!

How lovely that star and yellow are at the same stages, that will make for an interesting race come the due dates!

Hi nurse our first graduate!! good to see you! you will have an ace time in turkey, (and a hot one) we went there last year and loved every second! We just private messaged each other with our names and a brief discription for the facebook thing. Feel free to join us!

wombat yes the 22nd should still be fine, I will try to sort out someone to pick up DS otherwise I will have to leave at 2 oclock to get back for him, which possibly won't be worth it!!

I went to a christening today got asked if we were having any more to which I replied "never say never"!! Think I got away with it! all being well We can spill the beans on tuesday!!

Waves to everyone :)

wombatinwaiting · 04/07/2011 05:57

Oooh how lovely that star and yellow are the same. Good news on your little wriggler star. Thinking of you for friday yellow and really hope the week whizzes by as fast as it can!

He he - funny re: the christening qu worm - great answer! How are oyu feeling about tomorrow? Fab that you can make the 22nd as well - anyone else fancy it?

Still finding it fascinating to find out a bit more about everyone on fb. Just waiting to find wellie at the moment.

When are you having your tests etc. mrsb?

Big hellos to marathon, wellie, emma and anyone else I may have missed - sorry!

Quick word of warning - I'm unlikely to be on here for quite a while - in an exatraordinary, but irritating case of efficiency, the internet peeps have already disconnected our internet at the old villa but really not sure when we'll be up and running at the new place. Best case scenario would be thurs, worst case sunday (I hope!) and am super busy at work and not really at my desk, so please don't worry if I'm quiet for a few days. Have 20 week scan on thurs afternoon (eek!) so will try to find somewhere to update after that.

Wishing you all good weeks and best of luck for the scans worm and yellow.

x

Star82 · 04/07/2011 08:10

So worm is tomorrow at 11 and yellow is Friday. Is that right? Will make a note to check up then specifically.

May book in this week with midwife if I'm feeling brave. DH away with work for a week from wed.....boo!!!! Work? They're going puerto banus!!! Pah!

Hope everyone has a good week :)

yellowtomato · 04/07/2011 08:35

Morning all

Yep that's right star mine is at 9.20 but they were running 40 mins late last time!

We'll miss you wombat hurry back!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to post again before tomorrow am so sending you all my positive vibes and good luck now worm

Did you get your results yet Emma?

I had a good weekend and hardly felt sick at all but it's back with a vengeance today. So wish I could tell work and have shorter hours/ working from home for the next few weeks. I just am not ready to tell them yet.

I also have a nipple question, my book says they should be bigger, darker and have discharge but mine haven't changed at all. Bit worried this is a bad sign? Anyone have any nipple advice?

Waves to everyone!

Sparklywine · 04/07/2011 09:01

Morning all!
Didn't think I'd have anything to post but Yellow has drawn me out with her nipple query, saucy mare! As reasurrance, I think mine might be everso slightly darker, but that's it. Definitely no discharge, that I can do without. I am now a pert 38GG, come to momma! I've felt lots of symptoms tailing off this weekend and worried a bit, found myself tweaking my nipples trying to experience pain but they were disappointingly fine. The things we do!
Even fancied a cappucino on Saturday so sat out in the sun sipping away, I was buzzing my nuts off for hours afterwards! Not doing that again, but it was delicious!
So this week is scan week! Happy vibes to everyone, it's very nerve-wracking but it's a lucky thread.
I love how Yellow's Facebook is impregnable! Grin

harassedandherbug · 04/07/2011 09:14

Morning!

I'm exhausted, but in a good way after an impromptu mini weekend away. Dh booked us into a hotel in Bournemouth late Saturday afternoon, so we hurriedly packed, left the cat a pile of food and went! Weather was fab and by 8pm we were on the beach Grin. Had a late dinner, then got up earlyish the next morning, had breakfast on the sea front and then went to Monkey World (the one off the tv). Fab weekend, but boy am I shattered!!! Not helped by the sodding cat doing her "I'm up so you're up" thing at 4am..... thought dh was going to murder her Wink.

Sparkly by boobs are settling down now too, thank goodness!!

Yellow I've never ever had any discharge this early on, it's always been later after 30 weeks. My nipples are a bit bigger but not darker. I think it's a case of everyone is different. But doesn't help when you've had a mmc does it?!

Star good news on the scan!!

nurse lovely to see you.... wow 27 weeks!! My friend went to Cyprus a couple of weeks ago and she must have been 30ish weeks. Do you have get a fit to fly letter? Might be worth checking!

Wormshuffler · 05/07/2011 05:26

Well today's the day ladies !!! It's fair to say I am shitting myself..........
thanks for the good luck.
My nipples aren't any darker, they are a bit bigger though, no discharge, and can't remember ever having had any with the DC's either Confused so I wouldn't worry too much about that yellow, roll on friday when you get to look through the window again........

Ah that sounds sweet of your DH harassed , my dh is on about going down there to watch an air show that they do out to sea?? it's somewhere I have never been.

yellowtomato · 05/07/2011 06:57

Just a quickie to say good luck worm

And thank you for the nipple info ladies, I think my book has it all wrong!

Sparklywine · 05/07/2011 09:08

Just wanted to say good luck Worm, we're all thinking of you! x
Yellow, are you reading one of those Cold War Soviet guides to pregnancy and childbirth? That will teach you to raid the MI5 library Grin

harassedandherbug · 05/07/2011 09:29

Good luck Worm!!!

yellow books get the odd bit right....just take it all with a huge pinch of salt Wink.

harassedandherbug · 05/07/2011 09:30

Worm meant to say, go with your dh! There's lots to do down there, but pack comfy shoes, it's quite hilly.

mrsb33 · 05/07/2011 10:43

Just popping in to say good luck worm. X

Star82 · 05/07/2011 11:23

Good luck worm. Remember, if it's good, we won't hear from her til tea time as she's going straight to work. No news good news in this case at least :)

wellieboots · 05/07/2011 13:32

good luck worm!

waves to everyone else :)

MarathonMama · 05/07/2011 14:04

Oooh, very best of luck Worm! Hope it goes well.

Hello ladies, good to hear that all of you are thriving. I've been away at my parents' house. Not much internet access (they still use dial-up, need I say more) so haven't been able to lurk as much as usual Wink

My AF is due on Sat, was feeling a bit woozy yesterday and couldn't sleep last night so POAS this am. It was a very very very faint BFP on a FR test. Not sure whether it means anything, although I had a BFN a couple of weeks after my ERPC in May it was on a cheapie, so not sure if the FR test is just picking up some residual hCG. Arrrgh! I suppose only time will tell. Roll on the weekend...

Harassed am jealous of your mini-break! Sounds lurvely.

Yellow I agree with the others re. nips. I never had any discharge with my dd and they didn't really get any darker (but they were bigger, as was everything in that area).

Wormshuffler · 05/07/2011 14:48

Eeeeeeeekkkkkk! there is a real life wriggling baby in there !!! measuring 13 weeks exactly a few day forward of my lmp date (which I am sure about) so I guess I must have ovulated early. He/She was being very awkward for the sonographer and was layed face down. So I got sent out for a walk. The nuchal measured as 1.35mm which is apparently on the low end.
Thanls for all your support ladies, and sorry I have been so nuerotic/paranoid Grin

Well marathon a line is a line in my book!! get yourself a cheapie and check again. If that has a line then you can be more confident of it!!

Gotta dash and do the school run sorry if I missed anything xxxxx (can't wait to tell the kids)!!! Grin

Star82 · 05/07/2011 14:56

Great news worm!! Grin.

yellowtomato · 05/07/2011 16:11

Hurrah, fab news worm so happy for you.

And congratulation marathon get another test, go on now! But a line is a line!

Was sick when I got home from my course at 10 last night as I was so tired, can't wait to get home and lie down.

mrsb33 · 05/07/2011 19:11

Fab news worm! Love the pic, looks like the babys floating on a fluffy cloud!
Marathon. Congrats, agree a alines a line [pelts a rotten egg in marathons direction, and misses, darn just my luck]
Had my internal yest, aparantly all normal but omg! I never realised that's how they did it! Ekkkkk now all booked in for scan and my bloodys tomorrow.
Waves to all, now back to lurking! X

wellieboots · 06/07/2011 11:29

fantastic news worm, so happy for you that you can let your secret out now - and hopefully relax a bit as well! Grin Grin Grin
And marathon, wayhey! A line is a line, especially if you've def had a BFN since your mc. Congrats to you too Grin Grin

Where is everyone?!

MarathonMama · 06/07/2011 11:39

Awww Worm fab news! It makes me quite emotional when I hear of other people's good scans. What did the DCs say?

Well, I took your advice Yellow, Clearblue test this morning - BFP - 1-2 weeks. Eeek! I think they're quite sensitive too though? I don't think I'll be comfortable until I've tested with a Boots cheapie again at the weekend (they only work from the day of your missed AF). Not feeling excited at all, feel like it's bound to fail again, there's not a symptom in sight (apart from wooziness the other night). I haven't told DH, I feel like I want to deal with it alone until I'm sure of it (apart from telling you lovely ladies of course).

I'm hoping it's real but trying really hard not to hope at the same time.

MrsB I sort of want to know but I don't how they did your examination, a bit like a car crash IYKWIM.

Going to bury my head in the sand till the weekend...

emmaandthestar · 06/07/2011 19:31

Hello everyone,
I am sorry for not being around a combination of being really busy with work and feeling pretty low.
Thank you for all remembering the blood tests! they came back showing I have low progesterone levels and luteal phase defect so I have been prescribed Clomid (although I did get a :) on the OKP on the 26th) and if when I become pregnant I need to do the fanjo stuff :)

Typical though a combination of heat and too much pressure DH just couldn't DTD - needless to say there was much sobbing and shouting which added to the romantic atomosphere that we were trying to create.... anyway we managed it the next too days so am near the end of the 2ww but am not holding out any hope.
Just hoping to get AF soon so I can start the Clomid.

I am now going to busy myself catching up on how you all are and post again.

Sparkly like your discription of peg trousers but they can be quite flattering

emmaandthestar · 06/07/2011 19:39

MrsB33 glad they could delete your post! Can't believe you have had meet ups etc - was I away for weeks?

yellowtomato · 06/07/2011 19:47

Good to hear from you Emma ttc takes all the romance out of it all doesn't it? Great news that you have some kind of explanation and action plan. Fingers crossed

marathon hurrah for the bfp, it is a worrying time and a bit too early for symptoms anyway. Fingers crossed and keep posting for hand holding.

So those who are over 12 weeks and were sick before, when did it stop? Please tell me it stopped or at least improved and when? I'm really struggling to cope with feeling sick all the time.

mrsb33 what kind of examination was it, was it a lap and die? Did you have your scan today? Where is wombat with her spreadsheet? Grin
