You don't come on for a few days and it's all going off.....london meet ups, wombat having clandestine meetings with fellow mentallers, hehehe Grin.

Glad the meet up went well wombat!!

Do you know what? I never thought of having a 'virtual' meet up on Facebook or the like. Is that true mrsb?? Can't we delete posts on here?? I've always assumed you could....eek! Don't think i've put anything too bad on here....yet!!! Let me know if anyone wants my details and i'll inbox them. I think you all seem 'safe' enough, Wink

Marathon, i think we have similar stats. Im 29, about 5'6, 10-12, biggish boobs Blush. Feel huge at the mo though as so tired recently and although i'm still in my freya DD's, i've all filled out like they go when you're breast feeding. It kills when my bra comes off...they're like rocks!! Fingers crossed for this month even though you think it's a none starter.

worm glad you enjoyed TT. Regardless of whether i'm pregnant or not, i always go through everyones name before i find the correct one...even the two dogs!! DH sees me on here but don't think he thinks i post so no idea what he'd make of it :)

Good luck with the job hunting Wellie

Has emma been on to say what happened with her bloods??

How are you feeling now yellow? Don't know how you girls that are working do it. I'm just at home with the littlest child and feel whacked some days. I'm considering taking iron supplements early. I always have to go on them anyway as it always shows up low, even when i'm not pregnant!!

Hi sparkly / harrassed!!

mrsb33 · 29/06/2011 21:14

Star not sure about deleting, just assuming as I can't see where??
Well ladies u know me so go ahead and add away!

OP posts:
Star82 · 29/06/2011 21:20

I'd maybe try what worm suggested and report it, unless you aren't particularly concerned anyway :)

Wormshuffler · 29/06/2011 21:22

I'm inboxing you my details star remember girls what happens on mumsnet stays on mumsnet!!

Star82 · 29/06/2011 21:34

Ok then worm double eek!!! I wonder if we are anything like we imagined?? Oooh, we're all being very open/brave this evening!!!

Star82 · 29/06/2011 21:36

Oooh, i've done it. Also in case you're unsure my initials are SH and it's a florida beach bikini pic with DH Grin

Star82 · 30/06/2011 09:19

This is so funny. worm you look so different from what I imagined. I thought you'd be older for some reason Blush, probably with you having older children I suppose. Your hair colour is different to what I imagined too!!!

Sparklywine · 30/06/2011 16:00

Gargh, I'm not on Facebook! Wanna see Worm's barbour jacket and 4x4 and airbrushed wrinkles Grin, and Star's, er, bikini pic And Mrsb's pics of her debauched nights out! Grin
I might have to join up, but it's the thin end of the wedge, and I use up enough time aimlessly surfing researching on t-interweb!
Mid-July is a bit too soon for me to take a day off work and book a train down from Manchester I'm afraid but would love to meet up at some point; any idea when you're over next Wombat so I can plan, I love planning!
Have eaten terribly today, a cupcake and a homemade brownie that was gooey and heavy as a brick. I am eating for two, and they're an obese, unhealthy, greedy couple at that!
I was thinking earlier that I will definitely post a photo on my profile of myself and Monty in December, when we are both scrubbed up and slightly smug. It seems to me to be the culmination of a long journey, and you've travelled with me, laughing and crying along the way

wombatinwaiting · 01/07/2011 05:36

ooh! This is getting exciting! mrsb I have just added you as a friend with a personal message (if you're unsure initials are HL). Maybe you can point me in the right direction for star and worm once you've (hopefully!) added me as a friend!

Also getting excited about the thought of a RL meet-up. sparkly - I'm not sure I'll be back before about March or so next year Sad as won't be able to fly after end of Oct and then the thought of travelling with a really wee one is a bit scary.... do join up on fb though - you can try and be good with it and just keep it to mn people to start with? Tis a bit addictive to be honest.... in any event, will look forward v much to seeing you and Monty, surrounded by educational wooden toys of course! Grin

Good to hear from you star - when's your next scan?

You must be getting excited about tuesday worm or just plain petrified? I'm sure all your sickness is a good sign though (although sorry that it's affecting your work visits too though!). TT sounds fab!

And how are you feeling yellow after your really bleugh days last week? Hope a bit better.

Hope all went well with the bloods emma.

Good to hear from you wellie and hope the job-hunting bears lots of fruit soon (and your SWI too!)

Fingers crossed for you this month marathon - agh to the 2WW! I think you may be the one keeping up the young end of this thread which is great with all us ladies of slightly more advanced years!

Not much to report from here other than I seem to be getting tummy cramps in the afternoons / evenings - feels more digestive than anything so I'm thinking it's just all the organs getting a bit squished - can you believe wombatbean is about the size of a mango and around 15cm head to arse now?!

Talking of getting on, nurse and maramara must be getting onto the final stretch soon - if you're around ladies, do give us a wave and let us know how you're getting on.

Up to our eyes in moving stuff at the mo (well DH doing the heavy stuff while I'm on mn! Blush Grin )

Waves to all! x

Wormshuffler · 01/07/2011 06:28

Ohh it's like the first day at school when you go around asking if everyone will be your friend!! I have sent you my details on a private mumsnet message wombat

Shame you are not on facebook sparkly but I guess you get to keep the lady of the manor image you have of me!

star I know it's really weird seeing what people look like, you have a cute family, how is the pg going? any symptoms? another scan on the horizon yet?

Mrsb if you are lurking, hope you are ok, and not too nervous about next weeks tests.

Well I am at the magic 12 weeks today, the sickness has got better as the week has gone on, and I actually have some energy! cue mentalling! but they do say that you should start to feel better at 12 weeks so hey, with no reason to think otherwise I am just enjoying it! Can not wait for the scan, I feel like I am going to explode if I don't tell the kids soon!

Star82 · 01/07/2011 07:54

Hey worm, actually I think I'm taking the verb 'to mental' to another level and gonna try get another scan today if they can squeeze me in!!!! I'm back at our old house doing some jobs on it to either get it sold/up for rent and it turns out I can get an early scan there for £60! Actually, I probably not too far from where you are I think. DH thinks I'm mental and goes on about how I can't keep getting scanned every 2 weeks but I don't car. I think once I can feel baby moving myself, I'll relax. I didn't have any m/c symptoms last time so can't rely on 'not bleeding/cramping' to indicate all is well.
Glad you're at 12 weeks and really hope all is well at the scan. The kids will be so excited especially as they'll be able to get involved a lot more at their age. I'm still not having any sickness (but never have had any with my pg's), just swelled up boobies. That's as far as I go with symptoms thus far. A little more tired I suppose as well.

wombat, don't think I can send a link to me at mo as on iPhone but will do so when I get on a computer.
sparkly, get thi sen on!!! :) xx

wombatinwaiting · 01/07/2011 08:28

Ooh ladies who aren't on fb yet, get connected! I've been busy stalking casually browsing pics of star and worm - very interesting and their kids are toooooo cute for words!

harassedandherbug · 01/07/2011 09:03

I've just messaged wombat, star, mrsb & worm by details. Sparkly you'll have to join!

Star I don't blame you for having another scan! I was scanned at 6, 8 & 12 weeks but would have loved a 10 week one.

Worm Yaaay!! 12 weeks!! I was 15 yesterday and I don't mental quite as much.

yellow hope you're ok and looking after yourself.

emma how did the bloods go?

Not much news here. Lots of stretching pains going on and my bump has def popped this week! I also have a doppler! God it's great..... cost me £25.00 off ebay and I'm using it at least once a day. I figure it's going to save me a lot of mentalling and hassling my mw. I love it, and it's great for dh too. Dd doesn't get what all the fuss is about, but told me for watching Transformers 2 with her as it's too old for the baby.

Wormshuffler · 01/07/2011 11:55

harrased you are no way a granny!! unbelievable!! can you really hear a heartbeat on a doppler at 15 weeks?? wow!

I am off today and researching 11 plus tutoring techniques, it would appear all DS's mates have been going to private tutors for 6 months and although we have been doing work at home with him, I now fear this will not be enough as the tutored kids will push up the pass mark and only the top 145 scores get in.
I am dead against tutoring, as I feel if they need 6 months intensive tutoring to pass the test they arn't clever enough to go so it equates to no more than buying your way into grammar school. However now I am going to have to step up the tutoring in order that DS who does deserve a place being in the top tables at school, doesn't get squeezed out by them. I have a massive rant boiling up and am having to bite my lip at the school gates!
And breathe!!

harassedandherbug · 01/07/2011 12:06

Thanks worm! You don't look like a barbour wearing, 4 x 4 driving type either..... Sorry sparkly.

My gp picked up the hb at 12+6, and several ladies on the Freak Out thread have them, so thought I'd give it a go. It's been great so far, really reassuring and it only cost £25.00!

I hate tutoring too, it smacks of desperation and as only reasonably well of people can afford it, why do they just not go down the private route?!

Sparklywine · 01/07/2011 17:10

Feel huge today! Someone at work asked when I was due and when I said 'December' she actually was the personification of Shock- a big 'Oh!' mouth, and silence for longer than was comfortable! I just sat there squirming, trying to suck in, to no avail.
Good job I'm not feeling emotional, because I would get a bit teary. I don't think I've put on loads of weight, but what if I am getting hee-yoooge and everyone can see it but me? Should I have quite a lardy bump at 16 weeks? It's my first one!

wellieboots · 02/07/2011 12:30

hello ladies!
Things are up and down here - got a 6 months to a year contract on Thurs, which starts a week on Monday straight after my current one finishes. So after all the looking something has worked out fairly quickly Grin Grin

SWI not so successful - CD2 of cycle 6 Sad and just found out that my other SIL is also pg (ie DH's DSis) due in Jan (and my other SIL as you know is about 20 weeks with twins) - pressure!!!!

Classic Angry MIL comment last weekend - when are you two going to start a family???? [shocked] - um, whenever I get pg you silly cow, it's not like we aren't trying!!!!

Sorry for the me me me - I'm not likely to be back in the UK until at least Feb/March next year but I'd like to get in on the FB action - I have private messaged mrsb

Hope everyone is OK - will come back tomorrow with a less selfish post!

Hugs and waves!!!!

yellowtomato · 02/07/2011 14:12

Afternoon all

Sorry I've been a bit quiet this week, a combination of a lot of work and feeling v sick and tired. Am feeling a bit better today but only just got out of bed so I guess sleeping is the key. Am feeling extremely mental with regard to the 10 week scan on Friday, feel convinced it's all gone wrong. I know I've been feeling sick and everything but with a mmc, which both my two have been, you do still have symptoms cos your body thinks you are still pg. I guess I have to just try not to think about it and wait until Friday. I also have to write my essay this weekend, I've not started yet but I thought a bit of procrastination on MN might help.

So that got my moaning off my chest, let's see what's been going on with the rest of you lovelies.

worm I felt a lot of sympathy for you hearing about you being sick at a client's place. You poor thing. How are you feeling about the scan on Tuesday? What time is it? I'm glad you have started to feel better, gives me hope that I might have "only" 3 more weeks of suffering.

wellie great news about the job, shit about the pregnancies. Must be sooo difficult, try to hang in there, you've been through a massive recent upheaval so things probably need to settle down a bit. And having a job contract is a very good way of getting pregnant!

harassed that doppler sounds excellent. I am very jealous of you girls that are further along than me. Must be so amazing to hear the heartbeat.

sparkly I'm sure that is perfectly normal, would you like a bacon sarnie or am I a bit late with the breakfast? My stomach is sticking out a lot and it get much bigger as the day goes on. It is massively bloated by the evening. I really don't know what that is all about because I am only 9 weeks. But it is a really noticeable beach ball up the jumper look in the evening. I don't even think I've been eating more than usual cos I've been feeling so sick. And all those alcohol calories I've been saving. Anyone got any ideas?

star I know what you mean, I'd have a scan every week if I could. As it is I'm going to have 8 weeks, 10 weeks and 11+4 all being well. Did you have another scan? I haven't had any ante-natal care yet cos of that group booking thing at an inconvenient time. I'm wondering if I'm missing anything important?

wombat so we could try for a meet up on the Friday 22nd if that's the only day worm can do. I'd try to get a long lunch and work from home afternoon organised. I work v near kx if that's where your train comes into worm.

mrsb33 how you doing? I love your wedding photos, you do indeed look very happy :)

So I'm friends with mrsb33 on FB now but I'm very paranoid (need to be in my line of work) so my security settings are high so I'm not sure if I can receive friend requests. If anyone would like to be friends with me (hopeful emotion) send me a PM and I'll find you. (taps nose) Just to say though I don't really use FB and almost nobody who I'm friends with on there knows about my ttc business so I'd prefer to keep chatting to MN so all my secrets don't escape.

marathon you never know, it's only takes one! :o

How you doing emma?

Wow, I have written an essay, maybe I could submit this instead?

Wormshuffler · 02/07/2011 15:53

Hi Ladies
Just a quicky as off out in a mo, good to see you yellow ive pm'd you yes I am very nervous about the scan on tuesday it is at 11.10, if you hear from me soon after that it will be bad news, otherwise I will be going back to work so will update after school. I too am nervous about a mmc, even though I have never had one of those before. I remember when I was PG with DS and a lady got ushered out of the scan room straight through to the consultant, she had her 2 kids with her obviously excited to see their new brother/sister, My heart absolutely bled for her.
B
Great news on the job wellie sorry it would seem AF got you, onwards and upwards they say (ohh -er)
I am big too but just look like I have put on weight (which i have) rather than PG. Family (in-laws) christening tomorrow will be fun.....
I may have to get meself one of those doppler things harassed
Talk soon
x

wombatinwaiting · 02/07/2011 15:55

Good to hear from you yellow - we were missing you! Sorry you're still so bleugh and mentalling too - really hope the essay and a busy week will be distracting enough from the scan on fri too. Fri 22nd could def work - how is that for you worm? I'lll send you a PM in a mo yellow with my details and don't worry, mum's the word with the ttc on fb.

Sorry that AF got you wellie - as yellow says, a brand new contract is a good way of getting a bfp. Very well done on the new job though Smile

Your posts always make me laugh sparkly but in answer to your bump status - everyone is different. I was with a friend today who is 14 weeks and I am 19 and our bumps are pretty much the same. As she is more petite though, hers looks much neater - trying not to be too Envy

Still lurking for news of emma - hope all is ok x

Sorry for quick message and not name checking all - waves to all - on crappy old laptop that tends to give up every so often and I fear losing all connections!

nurse47 · 02/07/2011 23:31

Hi ladies I'm still lurking and I try and catch up on your posts every now and again its just so fast!! I never know what to say! Can't believe your all buddies on facebook!! How have you got in contact with each other and not had any weirdos after you!!! I'm 37 weeks tomorrow its going so quick, yellow I see your pg a hugh congrats (sorry its late) hope all pg ladies are well?? And all the ttc's are soon up the duff! Take care x

nurse47 · 02/07/2011 23:33

wombatinwaiting · 03/07/2011 05:21

Big wave to nurse - so glad all is going well and have a fab time in Turkey! x

Star82 · 03/07/2011 14:20

yellow, yes and no. Didnt manage to get a scan yesterday but travelled up to Leeds today and got one there, yay!! Put me 3 days forward from what the 7 week scan said. Much more like what I thought I'd be. 9+2 today. All looks ok so far. Saw heartbeat and even though it's only v small, you could see it wriggling around!!

yellowtomato · 03/07/2011 14:58

Wow that's amazing star also means we are at exactly the same stage, I am 9+2 today as well!

So lovely to see movement on the screen, do you feel better now? I can't wait until my next scan in Friday .
