Just found out you are pregnant after a previous miscarriage and too nervous to move over the to pregnancy boards? Freaking out about spotting, cramping, symptoms (or lack there of) and nervously awaiting your first scan? Here is a lovely place for lot's of support, hand holding and problem sharing.

Courtesy of owlbooty here are the Ten Commandments of the Freak Out Room.

1. Thou shalt check thy knickers to the point of insanity until the baby actually arrives.
2. Thou shalt also check the loo roll post-wipeage (sorry, gross, I know)
3. Thou shalt bore thy physician and midwife to tears with the mentalling.
4. And thy husband/boyfriend/family/neighbour's cat.
5. Thou shalt obsess over the absence of symptoms.
6. And the presence of symptoms.
7. And the fluctuation of symptoms.
8. Thou shalt pee on a vast number of sticks and keep ClearBlue and First Response in business.
9. The day before any scan extreme mentalling is permitted without recourse to the Haddock.

10. Self-diagnosis with Dr Google is Forbidden.

The Haddock will be applied liberally to all transgressors.

Thanks for your concern lady, Lara, blackkat, bigmac, cep and all others. I'll lay off the tea I think. I have some herbal which I'll have instead. I can't remember who asked, but I am 11 weeks today (well, I should be IYSWIM). Dating scan is on Tuesday, but EPU are seeing me on Sunday as it stands.

Lara, I generally have extremely unruly bosoomas which are only exacerbated by pregnancy. I need as much support as possible which is why I love my Freya bikinis. Are you excited or nervous about your holiday? I hate flying which always causes extra anxiety in the lead up to a holiday. Silly though.

I'm in Kent BTW, so should I keep my spot on this thread I'd love to whizz up to London on the high speed and eat delish food with you londoners.

Watching This Morning. Jennie Falconer looks ridiculously stunning in all her pregnant glory. Bitter? Moi?!

Ooh - Freya bikinis - good idea. I have their bras (and love em). I am a Bravissimo shopper....

Am now excited for hol and think it has something to do with the fact I actually feel prety darned good. I cancelled a hol I had booked in the first trimester (Easter break to Algarve) as I felt like crap but now I feel all ready and set for some sunshine... Need to ring travel ins to check they cover for pg eventualities...

Morning all

MistressofP I can recommend M&S decaff tea - tastes OK. I also drink about 3 normal teas a day though (it used to be about 7) and have gone right off herbals, even my once precious peppermint. Sounds like you've got daytime TV sorted!

Dooscooby I'm with you on the random freakout. For me it's seeing people I haven't seen since I was PG last time and I still don't like making plans for things 'in case something goes wrong'. This in particular brings the feelings of loss straight back. I also can't listen to about 4 albums or finish watching Deadwood series 3. Our due date is starting to loom (in August) and I wonder if this has anything to do with it?

Absolutely with you on the unruly knockers lara - am really struggling in my current bikini which is absolutely no good for aquaerobics now!

Great to hear the results doo and I think that descrip of "everlasting anxiety" is quite apt. It's how we then choose to deal with it that will make the difference to mentalling levels.

Thanks Ladies, i have to admit i was nervous, the hb was one of the last things she checked and although i could see bub moving it wasn't until i saw the hb i relaxed, is that just me or was that weird....i could see it moving!!!!
