So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

Evening all, Have hope the ABs kick in soon xx

AF now 2 days late but still only 12 dpo so potentially 1-3 days before she shows anyway. Boobs have been sore this month (not a symptom I've spotted in the prev months so was feeling a bit hopeful but period pains which have been there 2 days have ramped up a level this afternoon so considerably less hopeful now Sad

Due to start Clomid but genuinely getting fed up with ttc and wondering if it worth all the hassle just for a string of knock backs Sad

NinjaChipmunk · 22/07/2011 22:28

aw big hugs all round as I think you all need them.
rollo I know what you mean about suffocating. At the moment I am getting a lot of 'mummy will you play with me' all the time and sometimes it would just be nice to be able to have a shower without being interrupted 15 times to tell me a cat is in the back garden or that hes built a ramp for his cars. sometimes there is a fine line between endearing and annoying!
have hope the ab's kick in and you feel better soon. Please don't feel to desperate, you need to be healthy first and foremost.
biscuits a big fat hot water bottle for you by the sounds of it. Hope af stays away.
we're off to a wedding tomorrow so might not be back for a day or two. Hope you all feel better soon x

havealittlefaithbaby · 23/07/2011 13:23

Think the antibiotics are kicking in already. That combined with a lovely 11 hours kip have left me feeling much.better :)
biscuits and rollo how are you feeling?

havealittlefaithbaby · 23/07/2011 13:23

ninja enjoy the wedding, throw caution to the wind!

queenrollo · 24/07/2011 10:34

That's me out for another month.......

izzybizzybuzzybees · 24/07/2011 20:55

Sorry to hear that rollo, I'm still waiting on her, I'm now about 25 dpo!!

havealittlefaithbaby · 24/07/2011 21:02

queen that sucks. Sorry to hear she got you. I'm recovering from the uti but have been in bed most of the day with a migraine. Feeling quite despondent about ttc this month to be honest.

queenrollo · 24/07/2011 22:20

well.....actually....i had some brown spotting this morning. and nothing since, which is unusual for me. so i have no idea what is going on....

and now right when i don't need it i've had stress dumped on me from a great height. Sad all i will say is you can't choose you parents. more's the pity....

havealittlefaithbaby · 24/07/2011 22:43

Ooh that's tentatively (took 5 attempt to spell that!) exciting. Spotting is not af!! Keep us posted. Nope parents are interesting variable indeed! In dh's case I think he'd swap his mother (she's so loopy he's never introduced us, been married early 3 years). In my case, can't choose your step mother!
feel free to offload here if you need to. have a MN Wine and a big (unMN) hug from.me.

NinjaChipmunk · 25/07/2011 14:21

Rolloyou are right, you can't choose your parents. Hope the stress is something you can deal with ok? Has the spotting stopped?

queenrollo · 25/07/2011 22:30

ok, so i'm definitely out. AF really walloped me today and I feel wiped out.
Have fallen out with my mum big time, makes life difficult because DS really loves them - I can't remove them from his life but I don't want them in mine Confused
other grown ups in my social circle acting like kids in the sodding playground and it's all crap and I just don't effing need it right now.

I am sooooooo not in a good mood.

NinjaChipmunk · 26/07/2011 09:11

Oh rollo you poor sausage that sounds like an absolute nightmare.
People can be so hurtful and childish sometimes. I do hope its something that will eventually be sort-out-able.
How are you getting on with the weight gain? Any joy?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 26/07/2011 21:28

Hi everyone.

I'm getting seriously annoyed now, i'm on cycle day 52!! 27dpo!! AND no AF!! Had bloods done on fri and will need to wait up to 2 weeks for results. I'm just so upset, weve been told we need to wait 18 months but clearly something is wrong now!

NinjaChipmunk · 27/07/2011 15:49

that doesn't sound right to me. Can you see a different gp? If she suspect polycyctic ovaries surely she should be pushing for more tests?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 29/07/2011 17:30

Called drs today and my hormone levels aren't normal so I've to go in to discuss them, first appt not til mid august tho.

havealittlefaithbaby · 29/07/2011 22:37

Any idea when your progesterone was taken in relation to.your cycle?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 30/07/2011 00:19

Had tests a week ago so that would have been cd 47 I think.

queenrollo · 01/08/2011 09:19

morning all.

ninja you asked about my weight gain - well I haven't been on the scales for a little while so I jumped on them yesterday and I've put on half a stone Smile this is really quite an achievement for me. Though I told DH and he said 'where?' and I had to point out it's basically my belly and the tops of my thighs. I don't mind the thigh, but the belly basically makes me look pregnant. The thing is if i start exercising to gain a flatter stomach I'll just lose the weight again Sad. I'm going to see how it goes and if i put on the other stone that I need then I will think about toning up.

Had my day 3 bloods done last week, so now it's a waiting game to get the results. I haven't heard anything about my day 21 - do you think I should ring the consultants secretary and ask her to post copies of the results to me? I could be waiting ages to be called in for my next appt, and i'm impatient.

I really don't think my hormones are playing fair. I've been doing a bit of reading and I have lots of symptoms that can be attributed to wonky hormones (mostly frighteningly, to early stages of menopause Sad) - taken individually the symptoms don't mean much but when you see all your symptoms on a list together it makes you wonder...

DizzyKipper · 01/08/2011 10:53

[Big waves to the group]
My how the group has changed, I've not been here for a while but I think it's about time I started getting serious and really make things happen this month! A big hello to all the people I haven't met, and an even bigger hello to all the ones I have Smile
CD8, still waiting for AF to leave so I can get back to business (she does really like to trail off and take her time in the end!)

NinjaChipmunk · 02/08/2011 10:20

rollo well done with the weight gain, thats excellent news. Sounds like an idea to speak to secretary about the results. I think they work on the basis that you will ask rather than them telling you if that makes sense? Certainly no harm in asking.

dizzy nice to see you back, how are things with you?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 02/08/2011 14:16

Just been to see gp. My bloods came back abnormal and indicative of pcos. He has referred me for pelvic ultrasound to confirm I think. Not great news but at least he is investigating it.

havealittlefaithbaby · 02/08/2011 17:50

And if it is that you can get cracking with treatment options :) the fanny cam isn't so bad just a tad uncomfortable.

NinjaChipmunk · 03/08/2011 10:19

i think have is right, at least with a diagnosis you can have treatment. Hope you get it all sorted soon.

Emmieee · 04/08/2011 19:54

Hey everyone I'm new..
had a brief read through your posts last night and thought this is such a friendly place :)

Don't know what to make of all this - help please :)

DizzyKipper · 04/08/2011 20:03

Hi Emmieee welcome to the group. Sorry you've not had replies on your thread, you sometimes really need a response don't you even if it's just some one letting you know they understand. I'm not sure whether I'll be of any use to you but I'll go have a look Smile
