So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

What's your cd day pg? Could be v early sign, stay positive for ironic bfp! Could just be one of those things.
Am our shopping with Dh and nan in law, trip to.Asda living on the cards!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 28/05/2011 14:19

Argh just come to Asda living, seen a teeny I luv piglet baby grow and almost burst into tears!

PatientGriselda · 28/05/2011 18:27

CD35. But last cycle was 45days, so who knows!

Bexamundo · 28/05/2011 19:11

Reckon you've ovulated by now! With a cycle that long doubt you have a short luteal phase! I'd relax and sit on my hands now if I were you!

PatientGriselda · 28/05/2011 19:16

Quite fortunate, as DP and I celebrated the beginning of the long weekend with a storming row! Nice to know I can keep up the implacable iciness as long as I fancy, without having to worry about whether I need to instigate making up so we can have sex :)

Bexamundo · 28/05/2011 20:30

Yeah it's tough to stay mad when you need hid sperm isn't it?!
I'm feeling low about it all today. Quietly dreading the prospect of a pelvic ultrasound and the barrage of questions and tests. I just really, really want a baby!! [Swigs cider and tries to shrug off self-pity].

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 28/05/2011 20:46

I'd love to be less shallow, but yes basically it's sometimes all about the sperm.

Sorry you're feeling crappy. I know the feeling of grumpy misery at the sheer unfairness of it all. I know there are people who've been doing this a lot longer than 18months, but on the other hand there are fuckloads of people who seem to have conceived in the first cycle after brushing past their DP in the corridor and it just isn't fair!!

I just had a letter rearranging my appointment because the consultant has taken half term off! Why could that have not been factored in inte first place?! It's only delayed by a week, so it could have been worse. And now I have 7 more days to lose weight in advance of any scales nightmare, which can't be bad. Though I have spent today eating crap in celebration of that fact...

Bexamundo · 28/05/2011 21:03

Are,you having to watch the champions league final too?! One grumpy Dh atm!
Yeah sometimes it just hits you in waves I think. How annoying about your appt! Prolonging the stress is just rude and as you say could be foreseen!
Even though they are here and watching footie think I'm going to have a bath. See ya later!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 28/05/2011 22:24

Ah, that's better! Had bath, put new shower curtain up (old one was falling down at edges after I put it through washing machine!), washed hair. Much fresher happier me now!

PatientGriselda · 29/05/2011 06:57

Glad to hear it! I flounced off to stay at sister's house last night and then promptly made up with DP! Ah well. Ita nice to see sister, and I will head home at lunchtime for a nice penitent and forgiving cuddle.

Bexamundo · 29/05/2011 09:03

Glad to hear you've made up!
Hmm I'm.a bit worried about myself...fun isn't open today so I'm contemplating going for a run...

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 29/05/2011 14:54

Impressive! Did you manage it??

Sadly DP and I are now locked in implacable hostility again.

Bexamundo · 29/05/2011 15:16

Hmm no run as yet, walked hone from.church and done 2 hours gardening, that's cardio yes?! Bit bored tbh, more footie on tv, play off final! Maybe will go running....
What happened now? Rehash same argument (that's what we do!) Or something new?!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 29/05/2011 16:52

Did a run in the end, 1.2 miles! Nope, not very far but it's the first time I've done a run in a bout 3 years and the first time since we moved to this village, wasn't sure how far to go! Expended some energy though which is good Smile

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 29/05/2011 18:24

That's brilliant! I'm so impressed. I haven't run since we moved to our new place about three years ago, basically because of the hurdle of finding a new route. Oh, and the hurdle of laziness, but we won't mention that! So well done for doing it.

Argument is the basically the same one as before, but played out on a new issue. I think we probably weren't really ready to make up, so both of us were still a bit huffy an resentful from last time, and therefore very ready to march straight back into battle at the slightest provocation!

What are you up to this evening?

NinjaChipmunk · 29/05/2011 19:50

hello! pg sorry to hear about the row, that sucks. Can you at least chill out with a glass of something nice?
bex well done on the run, don't think I could do it!
well we've had a nice day here today and been to a sculpture park which was fab and just had dinner at a new pizza express which has opened near us and tomorrow we're off to see the surrey county show which I am expecting to be full of pigs, cows and nice food. Am quite looking forward to it!
At least its taking my mind of the 2ww!
whats everyone else up to?

PatientGriselda · 29/05/2011 19:59

Oh I would LOVE to go to a county show! Do you go every year?

Am not up to much. Just cooked dinner with DP (mood = grumpy and resentful but making an effort) and now wandering around the garden admiring the flowers while some coffee brews. I think we'll be fine once we've slept on it! I think tomorrow is a day of outwardly doing DIY and inwardly wondering whether there's any point in POAS!

NinjaChipmunk · 29/05/2011 20:18

no never been before so other than looking at the bumpf that came with the ticket, I have no idea what to expect. Will let you know tomorrow! I'm nowhere near POAS, got another 8 or 9 days yet. Will try to keep myself occupied!

Bexamundo · 29/05/2011 21:19

Wow all sounds very exciting!
Having a lovely weekend with Dh's nan. Just had a bbq with my sister, her Dh and Dnephew. Dnephew was very tired and went a bit loop. Had to calm.him down with pre-prepared In the night garden and 3rd & bird. Highly entertaining!
How cool in my nan-in-law, choosing what to watch on.tv, she picks Little Britain!

OP posts:
NinjaChipmunk · 29/05/2011 21:39

she sounds like an absolute gem bex! mmm barbeque...............making my mouth water and we've got no snacks here at all, bugger!

Bexamundo · 29/05/2011 22:00

Nan is a legend, esp since DH is estranged from his Mum,.she's that motherly support he needs, she adores him!
Yeah my choices are limited cos I don't eat wheat! GF sausage, burger and rolls, not as much fun!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 29/05/2011 22:16

Ah no, that does sound sad! But, thinking positively, it's much better from a diet point of view to have grilled chicken or Lamb kebabs or something, and you can always have fun marinading things beforehand.

I ate more lasagne than I can possibly describe. And then ice cream. Now lying in bed feeling too fat for sex!

Bexamundo · 30/05/2011 12:33

Enjoyed the bbq food I could have. Then Dh had usual row about ttc with him.feeling the pressure and me getting stressed. All blown over now, just very frustrating because in the end there was no bd and he shouldn't do it again now til after his appt. Rather annoying as I know have ewcm now! Angry
Ah well, we're in Luring having dropped off his Nan. Will be driving home in a bit.
Lasange sounds awesome pg! Hope you lay there going "urgh' at how full you were!

PatientGriselda · 31/05/2011 06:38

So tired this morning - I just couldn't sleep at all last night. And I overate again :-( I am so close to my target BMI, and I desperately want to get to it before my hospital appointment, but now I am actually scared to weigh myself for fear of seeing how far it has shot up. Why is it that I choose this moment to start troughing, when I've been so good for so long?!

When is your DP's appointment?

babycarmen · 31/05/2011 10:36
