So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

aw fishfinger sorry you feel so rough, that sucks a big one. Hopefully the anti b's properly kick in and start doing their job soon. Feel better soon.

cd10 for me and no jiggy jiggy last night as dp didn't get home from work till 11.30. And tonight he's got to head off to oversee the construction of a shop in shop for a client that starts at 9pm so won't be back till late and then has to be back there for 8am tomorrow. I have to say I'm slightly peeved as tomorrow was supposed to be our hospital appointment which has now been put back to 4 August. He better put in a bloody good performance asap as this is not a good time for it to happen! My cycles are generally 27 days with some being 26 so I'm on limited time here! Will poa(ov)s when I get home from work to check whether he has a choice about performing or not. This bloody baby won't make itself. I need to get my positive head back on as I'm feeling distinctly annoyed about it at the moment.

havealittlefaithbaby · 13/07/2011 12:12

I hear you ninja its so frustrating sometimes! Hope you get some action soon.
fish glad to hear you're on antibiotics, hope they kick in soon. Stick the thermometer in a drawer for a few days, its not going to tell you anything.
My temp was back diwn this morning. FF moved my ovulation day back to 11 so it reckons I'm cd26 therefore 15dpo and af is now due Friday. I'm.not going to temp.again this morning just wait to see if af arrives. Think its too confusing in the tent! Not feeling.too confident tbh.
We're having a brilliant time! We're in the awning but we have a camper too (civilised way to camp!). Today we're at Weston super mud. Dnephew is at the water play park having a whale if a time running round! Surrounded by kids and bumps which is tough but he's being so cute its making me smile :)

havealittlefaithbaby · 13/07/2011 15:42

I've heard they are very sensitive and good actually! As you say wise to retest with fmu but tentative congratulations!
Griselda are you there*?!

queenrollo · 13/07/2011 15:46

i'm so glad i'm on holiday next week. will be welcome distraction from the second half of the 2ww.

queenrollo · 13/07/2011 15:49

oh i forgot. I bumped into my PG friend earlier. if you remember I said she hadn't told me and i found out from her DH wh assumed i knew. It felt odd. She nudged me and asked if i was yet Hmm so i bluntly said 'no, we're having tests' and she just nodded, put her hand on my arm and said come round for coffee soon.
I know she went through this herself, and ended up having all the tests so she ought to be sympathetic.

well it looks like everyones been busy girls Smile
im working the rest of the week fish and got a family party on saturday so hopefully that'll keep me occupied. was tempted to buy a first response test today but they're expensive and didnt wanna get one and end up with a bfn.
ive bought a pack of two cheap ones but say they work from first day of missed period so i'll just have to wait.
is your period late kiki?not sure which tests are the best myself.i bought a cheap one when i discovered i was carrying my son.think it cost £1 but got a positive result almost immediately!i bought a more expensive one then to double check and got a positive on that too.think it just depends on how far along you are for it to show up.they say you can get false negatives but a positive result is rarely wrong so fingers crossed you'r pregnant Grin
i seem to have lost my sex drive a little this month.id rather read my book!how awful.ninja you'll have to tell dp to lie back and let you do the work.
i have 2 friends who are recently pregnant and people keep saying oh it'll be you next.its so frustrating cos none of them know we're ttc and i feel like screaming at them that im bloody well trying.rollo dont let your pregnant friend get to you.we'll all get our bfp eventually.
glad your having a good time faithbaby

congratulations kiki, lovely news. Have you thought of an exciting way to break the news to your dp?

well I appear to be on a promise tonight. He's not gone to see the contractors tonight so he has no excuse (not even a 6am start).

Hope everyone else is good, onwards and upwards ladies, onwards and upwards!

LisaJayneS · 13/07/2011 21:56

Happy SWI-ing Ninja Wink - good luck!

LisaJayneS · 13/07/2011 21:57

Oh, and congratulations Kiki - lovely news x

fishfingersarnie · 14/07/2011 08:53

Morning ladies! Congrats kiki!!!!

I'm officially out this month - temp is now back to normal but has gone below the coverline this morning and am feeling crampy. Bugger. Onto month 14 then.....and fighting for ICSI!

LisaJayneS · 14/07/2011 09:00

Fishfingersarnie have a Brew - I know how you feel as am most likely put this month too. All crampy and achey (see sep thread 'Weird pain' but this cycle has been a weird one with potentially no ov so we're also looking down the barrel of IVF or ICSI.

I have a worry at the back of my mind. So far my investigations have shown nothing wrong and one of DH's SA tests showed low motility. So on the face of it that might be our prob. However, before pg with DS I had a mc at 10 weeks. Now my worry is this. What if I've had some CPs while ttc? Some months I feel pg but AF always arrives so I never test. (too chicken to test early). What if I've misses CPs? Could totally change the treatment we need if the problem was actually that I can't hold on to a pg.... Just niggling away at the back of my mind.....

Hope everyone else is ok xxx

LisaJayneS · 14/07/2011 09:00

Put = out - autocorrect on phone :(

LisaJayneS · 14/07/2011 09:04

Oh, Fishfinger you were poorly weren't you? Are you at least feeling better on that front now? xx

NinjaChipmunk · 14/07/2011 10:51

fishfinger it sounds like its been a rough month for you, how are your kidneys today?
sorry you are feeling a bit pants too lisa
I am at work and rather bored.......

havealittlefaithbaby · 14/07/2011 11:09

I'm out too af got me this morning :( time to call to book Hsg and go for pelvic ultrasound.

havealittlefaithbaby · 14/07/2011 11:47

Good news is I rang, they already had me booked in for pelvic ultrasound at 9.30 on Wed and can do Hsg at 8.30 so I'll get them all down in one morning and not have too much time off work. Just hoping DH can get the morning off.

LisaJayneS · 14/07/2011 11:56

Faithbaby - sorry about AF but good job on getting those appointments booked so quickly. Hope DP can get the time off. If he can't though I did both those things on my own and they were ok (still nicer to have DH there for hand holding though Smile)

Lisa xx

fishfingersarnie · 14/07/2011 12:07

Hi all!

faith sorry AF got you but sounds like things are moving in the right direction with your appointments! I was supposed to have an appointment at the 'infertility clinic' (nice name, could you make us feel any worse about not being able to get pregnant???!!!) on Monday but as DH needs to give a sample before I go and see them the appointment will need to be changed as he can't get in for a week or so.

lisa and ninja I'm feeling a lot better today thanks, the pain hasn't completely gone but it's definitely managable now and I've even managed to get some cleaning done! Sad.....but it gets on my nerves if it gets left for too long.
This month was going OK until this week - my chart looked totally different after OV so of course I started getting my hopes up immediately whilst pretending that I wasn't lol!!! Then the kidney infection turned up and it's been downhill since then.
Oh well! My darling step-daughters made a chocolate cake at their auntie's house last night and brought a big wedge home for me so I'm going to go and have that with a cuppa!!

Catch up with you all later!!

Smile
LisaJayneS · 14/07/2011 12:11

Glad you're feeling a bit better Faithbaby. Enjoy your cake and Brew. know what you mean about getting your hopes up while pretending you're not - I do that every month too!!! you'd think I'd know better after so long!

Lisa xx

LisaJayneS · 14/07/2011 12:12

Sorry - meant Fishfinger not Faithbaby

LisaJayneS · 14/07/2011 12:22

Incidentally, any thoughts on my chem pg thing below. Can't decide if I'm going mad or might have a point?

Honestly I'm getting so fed up of the ttc bit of ttc - still want a baby but so over having to try Sad
