So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

Sounds like you only have a few more days to wait. Can't help about the dreams though - maybe there is a lot on your mind? Moaning really is the best suggestion I can make, if only your wee turned purple or something to give you a sign!

I've had all those symptoms in the last few months. Crazy dreams can be a sign of pregnancy too but also that your subconscious is overworked! Try avoiding caffeine in the evenings, that helped me immensely!

I'm having extremely vivid (and not entirely pleasant) dreams the last few nights. They have unsettled me as I am a bit 'woo' and have been known to have predictive dreams in the past.
For about three hours this afternoon I could have sworn AF was going to show up, all the same twinges and aches (tmi but since having DS my whole undercarriage aches ) and now the left habd side feels really quite tender to the touch.
I think I'm having one of those cycles with a big hormonal surge, I'm starting to feel very wiped out which is another symptom I sometimes get. I'm only day 20 of a (probable) 33 day cycle though, so I may be OV now? With my body all over the place I have no idea what's going on. We dtd last night but no hope tonight because DH has hurt his back

queenrollo your poor dp, putting your back ourt is never fun, hope he gets it sorted soon. Do you actually dream about what then happens? That must be a bit weird for you.

hi faithbaby am feeling so much better today, still a bit snotty but a million times improved. I think a good nights sleep really helped. How are you and your symptoms?

wonder how griselda, dizzy and the rest are doing? not heard from them in a few days?

Symptoms continue really, boobies still tender, still got reflux but managed 4 drinks! Rather than two yesterday. Presume af is around the corner though no symptoms as yet.

OMG I am sooooo annoyed this morning. We have been using a duofertility monitor (potentially a HUGE waste of money) to chart tempertaures etc for ov. Now up until yesterday it was showing me ovulating LAST Monday (CD13) with relatively stable temps after that until it dropped off the bottom of the chart on Sunday and recovered a bit yesterday. Plugged it all into my computer this morning and last Monday's ov is no longer marked and the temps for Thu, Fri, Sat now show a steady decline to Sunday and then a massive increase to yesterdays. How on earth can they change retrospectively?????? . If they now tell me that they think I ovd yesterday I might just explode. On the basis that we thought it was now over a week since ov there was no SWI last night so will be fuming if they change their mind!!!!

Apologies for that massive rant - Just needed to get it off my chest.......

lisajayne that sounds like a bit of a nightmare! That's why I didn't like temping as you could only see ov retrospectively which was no use really! The cbfm at least usually gives u high fertility days before showing your peak.

As for me now 13dpo and no sign of the witch, unusual in that last time we were ttc my lp was 11 days max

When we bought the Duofertility monitor thing from teh way it read I thought it would use my data to be able to predict the days but now I see how it works it really is nothing that I couldn't have done myself. I feel a bit seen off (for a bit read a lot) :(

Feel so gutted if we have wasted another month (although after 18 previous fails I am not sure it would have made any difference)

my dreams are not specific, and I never tell people I've dreamt about them but i do, in a way, dream about things that happen.
I've had messages from beyond in dreams, usually a vivid item or symbol and have passed messages on and they've been relevant.

When I was about 5 months pregnant with DS I had a dream that I was with this little boy and I remember everything about his features - and yes my son looks exactly like that boy i dreamt of. We didn't have a sexing scan, but I just knew that I was carrying a boy and my then partner and all my friends kept telling me to stop calling my bump 'he' as i'd be disappointed if it was a girl. But i knew and I can't explain it.

Lisa it's frustrating isn't it. I gave up temping because mornings are so erratic here that I never managed to get a readable chart. I bought OPK's but again not having a routine to the week i'm not always here to POAS at the right time so have used them sporadically and never managed to get a positive result.

Off for my blood test this afternoon. Not looking forward to it, but at least I don't have to trail to the hospital. Have been checking my diary and if I get AF on day 33 then I'm going to struggle to get my bloods done for day 2 and it will be most likely day 4. Do you think that will be a problem? This is so damn frustrating, the time specific thing when you're not sure of yoru cycle

Queenrollo good luck for your blood test today - at least it feels as if something is happening doesn't it. Re the day 2 one I think it is ok day 2-4 isn't it? I think they just need to be sure AF is still visiting don't they (that is based on absolutely no medical knowledge). I mean there must be people where AF arrives Friday and then they can't get tests done over the weekend?

I agree too about temping in the morning - it was crazy hard to do before you so much as breathe when you wake up. And I thought that because with this monitor you just wear a little sensor it would make it easier as it takes the temps automatically, and it is easier in that sense but prediction wise it is not living up to my expectations.

Roll on Friday and my appt at the clinic. I think I am placing way too much hope on any potential IVF / IUI - success rates are still quite low aren't they?

Oh that sounds so annoying izzy! Guess its one of the reasons doctors suggest swi three times a week every week, timing intercourse has so many perils! Let's hope it was right originally for you and you hit it afterall.
I can't offer any advice on bloating because I have Ibs! So I'm bloated most of the time.
Happy days I slept with socks on (camping is chilly!) and my temp came back up so maybe yesterday was a blip! Boobs are still very tender. Reflux was awful last night and my couldn't find my gaviscon so I had a hissy fit! So I'm still in the running.

queenrollo I knew I was carrying a boy, so did dp, he especially had an incrdibly strong feeling about it. But the dream about what he looks like is weird (in a nice way though). Good luck for the blood test, glad you don't have to go to the hospital.

lisa I have never charted, usually go by cm and sometimes pee on ov sticks but i think i would fail quite drastically at charting, far to difficult to achieve! But positive thinking woman, thats what you need!

Well I got my revised hosp appt through this morning for 4 Aug, so at least the wait is not too long. Now just to get up the duff so we don't have to go...

well girls that's my day 21 bloods, and one for rubella immunity done. and i hardly felt it! not had blood taken at this surgery before and my practice nurse is worth her weight in chocolate

thanks lisa I also queried the day 2 bloods as I have a slightly unpredictable cycle and it may fall on a Sat/Sun and the nurse said phone the surgery on the Mon am if that's the case and she will fit me in even if she is 'full' because it only takes 2 mins to take the sample. I'm to ask to speak to her if the receptionist tries to fob me off
I feel a relief that finally I've made a real step towards (hopefully) getting some answers.

ninja the purple wee is an excellant idea!why didnt mother nature think of that i knew i was having a boy too.my mum kept saying that i was having a girl but i was adamant i was having a boy.when i had my 5month scan i was right.iv been able to tell what my friends are having too.i just get a really strong feeling.

faithbaby thanks for your input havent heard from you in a while i have about 5 days left til due on so hopefully will be able to test soon.i feel pretty confident that i'll get a bfp as ive had alot of similar symptoms that i had very early when i was carrying my son.about 3weeks before i found out i was having him i had a day of complete sickness.thought id picked up a bug but obviously not.i also had the heavy achey stomach feeling.
i dont have anything with caffeine in as i find it gives me headaches so the dreams cant be from that.

Hey all - 3 days until I can test (Friday) and was gutted this morning as my temp was over 100F!!! I have a kidney infection and feel pretty rough - was hoping that the backache and sickness were good signs but now I don't think I'm pregnant at all. My boobs don't feel as sore anymore, neither do my nips all I have is the backache, stomach-ache and weeing lots but that's down to the infection I reckon.
Will keep taking the painkillers and hope that my temp is a little more realistic in the morning but I think I'm out.

ninja - you freaked me out the other day when you were on about purple wee cos I'd thought exactly the same thing myself!!! It'd be soooo much easier!!!

Bless you fishfinger uti/kidney infections are horrendous! Just relax, take plenty of fluids. Paracetamol should help bring that fever down. Bet your temp is inaccurate if you've needed to get up to pee in the night too? I remember I had a had one last year, I clock watched and at one point literally Peed every five minutes! Are you on antibiotics?
princess sounds like we'll be testing around the same time then! If I get that far reckon I'll test Sunday...I'm currently 12dpo and usually have a luteal phase 13-15 days. Kind of liberating being away and not having tests. I refuse to poas in a camp site toilet!

Morning all - unfortunately my temp was still up this morning (99.6) and just taken it again and it is back up to 101 so not been able to update my chart (although one more high temp and it could look triphasic I suppose LOL!! )
It could be a blessing in disguise really as at least I can't obsess! AF is due tomorrow so I guess I'll just have to wait it out. Boobs are a bit achey and I feel exhausted but that's about it as far as symptoms go and the exhaustion is probably down to the infection.
Will keep you all posted tomorrow - my cycles are like clockwork so tomorrow will tell!

faith how are you enjoying the camping? Me and DH love camping! How was your temp this morning??? And yes, I am on antibiotics - I even asked the dr if they were safe to take if I'm pregnant!

princess the wait doesn't get any easier each month does it! Will you be able to distract yourself until Sunday??
