Not as miserable today thankfully despite af making a slow appearance after days of spotting, not quite the whoosh I was expecting when I woke up to low temp this morning but anyway the start to a new cycle and chart.

All the results go to gyn so 3 weeks to wait, not really worried about anything which is something at least so feel utter rubbish as I know it really is going to be time to stop for my own sanity.

Just a quick hello, I will read through the thread and see what I've missed in a bit but just wanted to quickly get some thoughts from you about my chart if that's ok?

FF originally had my ovulation down for day 13 and I agreed with this as it matched my ewcm pattern. But then my temp has kept rising (which I was thinking might be a good sign) but now ff has changed ovulation day to day 17 which doesn't match my ewcm. Here is my chart, what do you think? www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mrsden I really hope it wasn't day 17 because if it was then I'm not in with much chance because we didn't SWI around then, only 2 days before.

MrsDen I actually think it was cd14 based on your previous cover line.

Well, more ewcm and another positive opk for me. Maybe i'll actually pop an egg this time. Got acupuncture tomorrow so hopefully that'll coax it out.

scrummy and islandisla - yes me and DH have made up now, sadly too late for ovulation as as suspected FF put me in for Saturday there. So really not hopeful this month, at least last month there was quite a bit of swi at the right time.

weimy - at least you managed to swi, me and DH rowed and didnt talk lol.

auntied - my post ov temps are very similar to yours - that is not that high compared to pre ovulation - has anyone else had this? Normally I have quite a rise (well until Af shows up) so to see such a teeny rise is confusing.

Got spots, one on my lip that is bloody painful and sore nips so I must be ov' ing lol

Looked after niece yesterday, the pack loved her and she was very good with them had to laugh though as the first thing she wanted to do was go in the girls' cage and pose for photographs

Sorry about the timing duckdodgers, but good that you have now made up. I have put DH in charge of making sure we stay friends enough to want to SWI - told him that is his contribution to the pregnancy. Hopefully won't take too long to get a BFP though, not sure how long the novelty factor is going to last... :o

I am continually slightly about my super neat charts!

i am a scientist so am maybe slightly obsessive about taking temps at the same time for accuracy. Although if DS hadn't been ill or teething so often they might have been even neater!

i only like the chart at the bottom where the temps stay up. wish my first proper chart had been so lucky this time around!

mrsden personally I think CM is more important than temperatures so I'd go with what you think. FF relies too much on temps for my liking - I always think it has it wrong!

Weimy Lol re your niece. that reminds me of a story my friend told when she took her niece for a ride in her new car, having advertised that it was topless, the first thing the little lady did after stepping into the car was take her top off!

And as for spots...ever since I gave up the pill, my teen skin has made a glorious spotty return. They only get bigger during Ov and period, otherwise I have a steady supply through the month I can only hope that means my ovaries are as youthful

I've never had acupuncture, but so many people here seem to swear by it. Might just give it a go. But first I'm going to book a facial and make it a regular event. Must make sure I look pretty inside and out for my upcoming US

Shame about the results bossy and even worse about AF . How does DH feel about it all?

thanks everyone. I really think it must have been CD13 or 14, not 17. I don't know what ff is playing at. I guess I'll find out depending on when AF turns up.

bossy rubbish that AF turned up. Hopefully the 3 weeks until results will go quite quickly.

After several false starts, af has properly arrived today but luckily not painful like the last couple have been which were awful.

I always talk to dh about this when I feel awful about it all and that is usually when he is busy and not really listening then I get annoyed at that and take a huff and it's all totally unreasonable because I don't pick my moments well but we need to sit and have a proper talk. Though tbh it may all be out of my hands anyway, have to see what gyn says, looking at the spotting I have been having it all seems to be breaking down too early so that could be what the problem is, then again it could be chems as a couple of days of spotting is normal for me but 6 days isn't.

I haven't bothered taking temps for the last couple of days as I've been ill and got a fever (38.39 Tues night!) but here's my latest chart

I think I'll take the other high temps with a bit of a pinch of salt as I've been ill. CD25 and 12DPO so should be AF time soon (expected Sunday at the latest as it can being anything from 24-28). I have various "symptoms" but I think they're more likely to be from being ill.

Re acupuncture: I started having it this cycle. I honestly felt something on my left side when she was working on ovulation (appointment was CD12) and the next day I ovulated and the ov pains were on my left. She's also working on my sleep which isn't having much effect yet but I'm a bit rubbish at sleeping at the best of times. Last week the focus was implantation. Seeing her again tomorrow so I'll report back if there's anything new to tell.

back in the saddle again so to speak its been a rough few days thanks for all of your kind words. I feel like I have done my being sad and feel much more positive now. Just posted similar message on another board so apologies for anyone who is reading this with a sense of deja vu!

Went to the GP on Tues who referred me to hospital for scan to make sure all was ok (well, as ok as can be...) but they made me POAS at hospital appointment this morning and as it was negative they didn't do a scan just gave me a pep talk about how 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage and 1 in 3 women experience them. Not sure why they thought that would make me or anyone else feel better - made me feel a bit like I was being told to stop whining.... the joys of the NHS I suppose. Anyway good news is that there's no reason why DH and I can't continue TTC straight away so here I am back again.

CD6 - here's hoping the rumours about increased fertility after miscarriage are true Will start taking temp again tomorrow as I think the bleeding will be finished then.

bossy I've had two months when I had nearly a week of spotting plus PMS, so I will be interested in what they say. My gyn didn't seem at all concerned when I explained my cycles, but maybe that's just not to cause any concern until the results come back. It's difficult sometimes with our lovely partners, isn't it. A good chat once your hormones have settled sounds like a plan.

vintage please, I'm quite interested, more from a relaxation point of view, but if it's got added benefits then all the better. I hold tension in funny parts of my body and one of my friends says her acupuncturist has managed to get rid of her headaches, so I'm warming to the idea.

poppy sorry to hear about your hospital experience. I must say I would have kicked up a real fuss if I were you, but you seem content, so that's all that matters. And yes, FX the MC theory works for you.

I'm eagerly counting down the days for ovulation...CD7 here. No long to go.

I am 1dpo ish had two peaks on the monitor and was back to a high today. Have very sore nipples today. The CBFM is helping a lot with DH I think a machine saying you must have sex now is more official to him than me, but I wont complain. I will try to temp tomorrow Fertility Friend has given me a hair.

Was at dog training tonight with both the girls and they were fantastic even the devil pup FX all the hard work is starting to pay off

Massive temp drop today (probably bigger than it would have been if I hadn't been ill) so I guess that's it. Cycle 8 here we come.
