Harder for the people in front of us I think.... Blush jaggy !

I too am sporting a bright red scratch mark on my face courtesy of my little darling... apparently that just wasn't the moment to change his nappy. Telling myself that "this too shall pass" (or get worse for a bit then pass anyway...) and busy finding ways to distract like you! I'll let you know if I find something that works particularly well Smile I am firmly of the belief that the teething is at the bottom of this, it must be so hard for them.

Still not convinced by FF red lines, the temps are not really higher than those earlier on and still having some EWCM....wish it was more obvious, i.e. freezing cold before O and then really hot after not this piddling about with tiny increments..bah! Sorry rant over Smile

Hope everyone is well this morning!

Scrummybumb · 15/06/2011 11:59

Just a quick post to MrsD.... please do not give up hope based on a single sample. I've spoken to some of the girls on the Assisted Conception thread and one of the girl's DH manage to improve his morphology from 2% to 14% in three months just by taking male fertility vitamins and fatty acids. It really is worth more tests to be done to see how things improve. Don't forget that it takes 3 months from sperm production to ejaculation, so it's after this period that any significant changes would be seen.

My DH is due to have his re-tested (his morphology was 2,5%) and we just had our 'we may need some help' discussion last night, but DH is positive that it will happen to us naturally. Anyway, been told to just relax until all results are back, so am trying to do just that.

Will catch up proper tonight...

AuntieDoris · 15/06/2011 17:09

Has anyone used Robitussin to increase EWCM?

If so how much did you take?

Scrummybumb · 15/06/2011 19:07

Hi,I did. I took 2-3 doses of 10ml. But I also took EPO and drank grapefruit juice.....had loads of EWCM.

Hi to all the new ladies. Nice to have you onboard.

I have my pelvic ultrasound tomorrow. I'm hoping they will tell me there and then what they see. Will report back if they do. Will chase my progesterone test results too, so let's hope it's good news all around.

I had one of those teasing temp drops again this month....

duck I know it is only stats and we should ignore them. So many women give birth way into their mid to late 40's. I did one of those, find charts like mine today and it came back with average time of 9 months. It brings some comfort.

mitzi how was your holiday?

bossy how are you?

mrsden · 15/06/2011 20:30

scrummy is it a vaginal ultrasound you are having tomorrow? If so, that's what I had yesterday and it wasn't at all uncomfortable and was really quick and the Dr told me there and then what she was looking at.

What was your DH's count like? Because 2.5% morphology is not so bad if the count was very high. We were told 3% and higher is considered normal. Good luck for tomorrow.

duckdodgers · 15/06/2011 22:28

Good luck with your ultrasound scrummy
Smile

wheredmysanitygo · 15/06/2011 22:35

scrummy hope all goes well and there's some good news for you.

havealittlefaithbaby · 16/06/2011 06:23

scrummy thinking if you today.
Jury still out for me this month, temp the same, BFN!

Scrummybumb · 16/06/2011 07:37

Blush I got my days mixed up....my scan is tomorrow....Blush maybe DH has something in that relaxing bit,but how can I when my chart looks like this. Thanks for wishing me good luck though, I will treasure that until tomorrow now! Smile

MrsD his count is good and the gynea was def not concerned. In fact he said his results were quite normal - apparently.

Mi11ie · 16/06/2011 11:09

Hi all, new to charting this is my first month with FF. Not actually TTC yet but I have had cysts/problems ovulating in the past (which I think are now resolved) so I just wanted to chart so I got used to my cycles before we do TTC, and to make sure i'm ovulating. I have a few questions I hope you can kelp with! I had ewcm on Thurs/Fri of last week which were CD 13/14, I had ovulation pains and bloating and thought I had ovulated on CD14 even though I only had a slight temp increase the day after. Yesterday and today I have a definate temp rise so FF has put my Ovulation day as Monday. Is that likely to be right as I hadn't had any ewcm since Friday? I take my temps before I get up in the morning which is normally between 7-7:30 BUT i do normally have to get up for a wee at about 5:30!!!! Would this mess up my results?? Thanks, I'm sure the more months I do this the moe clear it will become!!

jaggythistle · 16/06/2011 12:24

hello!

you'd probably be better taking your temp when you get up for your wee i think. the best results are apparently after at least 3 hours sleep and at about the same time each day, also you need to do it before getting out of bed etc.

my chart was the same this month, a small temp rise then a big one which confused FF. :) it picked the big rise after a few more temps were entered, so yours might do the same.

good luck with the ttc.

the q&a bit on FF is quite good for detailed info and nearly everyone here has probably had a read of the book 'taking charge of your fertility', which is great for understanding what your cycle is up to and all about charting.

havealittlefaithbaby · 17/06/2011 06:46

Morning all! Thinking of you, today, scrummy. Hope it goes ok.
Tired of bfn so didn't test today (plan to do another in the morning) but my http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/havealittlefaithbaby chart looks encouraging, yes? Keep expecting FF to say 'based on data I've decided to change your ovulation date' but hasn't so far.
I agree with jaggy, m11ie I use FF q&a a lot, done the charting course and als

havealittlefaithbaby · 17/06/2011 06:47

Also have tcoyf. That book.made me realise how little I knew about my body and fertility!
Sorry phone posted too soon, I see chart link didn't work.2nd attempt:
here?

jaggythistle · 17/06/2011 07:36

fingers crossed for you havealittle, it does look promising!

does anyone remember when we tried to have a chart stalking thread, with everyone's home page links? it kept getting a bit lost though.

i was thinking if we made the thread again and everyone posted once with their link (or i could scroll back up and copy them across, cos i am sad like that), we could then put a link in the first post of the next charters anonymous threads, so it would always be at the top of the page. we do chat quite a lot so it probably won't be that long till we start the next one! Grin we'd just need to

I'll do anything to not think about the 2ww me!

what do you all think?

digitalgirl · 17/06/2011 07:42

havealittle looks good Smile. I think ff won't change the date because you've recorded negative opk's. If you took those out it might.

I got another little temp rise today so getting pretty nervous about what the next few temps will bring.

scrummy is your scan today? Good luck if it is.

wheredmysanitygo · 17/06/2011 07:44

Obviously I wasn't around when you did it before, but that's a nice idea jaggy

Havealittle your chart does look encouraging, fx for tomorrow's test

Scrummy good luck for today :)

I have a question about grapefruit juice. If it softens up CF, is it bad to drink it post-ovulation?

IslandIsla · 17/06/2011 13:31

jaggy you are such a scientist Grin Good idea!!

digital fingers crossed for you!

havealittle looking very good!

scrummy good luck for today

sanity I don't think drinking grapefruit juice post-ov would be bad (after all, oestrogen can be high during the luteal phase and pregnancy, and I think grapefruit juice increases oestrogen production), having said that I wouldn't drink vast quantities, but the odd glass isn't going to hurt.

jaggythistle · 17/06/2011 14:43

totally not my idea but thought I'd have a go!

it'd be a spreadsheet if i could....

jaggythistle · 17/06/2011 15:12

mega chart stalking thread here

wasn't as good at finding all the links as I thought, please post yours if you want :)

digitalgirl · 17/06/2011 16:26

Well done jaggy Impressive sleuthing skills.

havealittlefaithbaby · 17/06/2011 16:56

It's ace linking up with others charting! Nice work jaggy.
Hmm had more spotting but it stopped again already. Hope I get some answers in the morning!!

jaggythistle · 17/06/2011 17:20

it's the waiting that drives you nuts, eh?

i find the day or 2 before AF turns up the worst.

fingers crossed it's a good news answer. :)

Scrummybumb · 17/06/2011 17:39

Hi all, freshly back from my scan and it's good news. My uterus is normal shape and size with good lining showing in the scan. Smilarly both of my ovaries are normal shape and size. So, structurally I'm ok.

I had both trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal scans, starting with the abdominal, which you have to have a full bladder for. Luckily they were running on time! the whole thing took about 10mins and wasn't painful or uncomfortable, much more comfortable experience than a smear.

I wasn't able to get my progesterone results today. The hospital hasn't yet sent a copy and the GP receptionist warned me that sometimes they don't, even if the practice requests a copy. We'll just have to wait and see.

A bit more about me still. I had very slimy - just like EWCM - and very slightly pinkish CM this morning. Nothing since. Did have a bit of period like headache mid-morning, but that too disappeared this afternoon. It starts to suggest to me that I might just have a progesterone deficiency or whatever it would be called.

That's enough about me. Jaggy well done for getting all the charts together! Now we just need to remember to bumb it every once and a while to keep it easily accessible - like with BfP announcements Wink

sanity that's a good question. I haven't thought if that! Clearly I haven't got an answer for you....Blush

Welcome mi11ie I echo what jaggy said about when to take tour temp

havealittle FX it's all implantation....

Hi and to everyone else! gosh, I really fancy a Wine

havealittlefaithbaby · 17/06/2011 18:11

Hey scrummy glad to hear it's good news! That sounds really positive :)
