Spotting has stopped (phew). Guess time and temp will tell! If temp is still up on the morning think I will poas.

Karbea · 13/06/2011 21:30

havealittle that sounds good, fingers crossed!

jaggythistle · 13/06/2011 22:16

fingers crossed for you!

havealittlefaithbaby · 13/06/2011 22:44

Eek! Just hope I don't end up like I was two cycles, dreaming about temps and eating fretfully only for FF to decide I didn't ovulate!

havealittlefaithbaby · 14/06/2011 06:06

Dunno what I meant by eating! Waking?! Ok temp still high but bfn.any ideas?

AuntieDoris · 14/06/2011 06:23

Game over for this month.

On to cycle 10 :(

Scrummybumb · 14/06/2011 07:21

Sorry auntied

AmandaCooper · 14/06/2011 07:35

havealittlefaithbaby your link isn't taking me to your chart.

AmandaCooper · 14/06/2011 07:35

Sorry to hear it AD.

havealittlefaithbaby · 14/06/2011 08:18

Argh still not great with this, is it here?
Sorry to hear about the evil witch arriving Auntie d.

AmandaCooper · 14/06/2011 08:35

Hard to say, isn't it. You do still have a high temp, although it has dipped a bit, so it's not your classic bang on definitely pg chart, but it's ok.

It's a good illustration of the frustrations that come along with FF actually, there should be a more sophisticated version where you can press a button to have it model what adjustments would be necessary to favour a later OV date, rather than the one it's positing.

It should also distinguish between shedloads of EWCM and just a bit that was almost not worth mentioning!

IslandIsla · 14/06/2011 08:35

havealittle is it possible you ov'd more around cd 12 than cd8??

havealittlefaithbaby · 14/06/2011 08:55

I did wonder that, only has two charts with clear luteal phase so FF is still getting to know me! Guess I'll just wait and see, will either get temp drop or bfp at the end of the day!

mrsden · 14/06/2011 09:55

Hi ladies,

I'm back from my doctor appointment to have my blood test and ultrasound. My ovaries look fine apart from a cyst on my right ovary that she wants to keep an eye on. DH sperm results are back and they're not good so he has to see a urologist now. Think I'm going to give temping a break now that it looks like it isn't going to happen for us naturally. I've written a more full account of my doctors visit on the ttc6months thread if anyone is interested.

xx

duckdodgers · 14/06/2011 12:49

mrsden - Ive just read your post there, so sorry to hear your news. Its not the end of the world - honest - but I can understand how it may feel like it and make you feel crap just now. If his results do indicate a problem with number of sperm would you think about help? Are they going to repeat the test?

Sorry auntied and weimy that AF showed Sad

jaggy - are you still hiding?

Hello to digitalgirl, scrummy and island and anyone else Ive missed! scrummy I do get a bit fed up thinking it may not happen because Im 40 - but I dont feel 40, ok I know my eggs obviously are though Grin

Welcome amanda and havealittle Smile

jaggythistle · 14/06/2011 13:54

yes, lurking away here and trying to resist posting.

i am still on holidays from work at the mo, will need to lay off the wine a bit cos it's making my temps ridiculous. Blush

away to drive home now, i always miss my house when I'm away!

digitalgirl · 14/06/2011 14:19

Hugs for MrsDen

Nothing much interesting happening here. Although next few days will be where I start willing those numbers on the thermometer to keep rising.

Hi

Welcome newbies!!!

Auntied I am cd2 :( cycle 8 I have just started using the digital monitor a friend gave me hers and I just reset it. It did make me feel much calmer this month but oh was a bit poorly when I peaked.

wheredmysanitygo · 14/06/2011 19:58

Just catching up after a weekend away. Sorry to hear news from auntied, weimy and mrsden - hugs all round.

This morning FF finally decided that I have indeed ovulated - hooray! My temps seem to be somewhat erratic and CM hasn't exactly been overwhelming. But still - very exciting, thinking of celebrating by purchasing 12 months VIP membership...

Poppyjen · 14/06/2011 19:59

Oh MrsDen Sad sending hugs your way too Smile

Interesting one here, last cycle my ovulation date was way out when I set the chart to the default "advanced" setting and the date given on the "research" setting was much more likely given when I got the BFP.

Today, no ovulation detected on "advanced" but apparently 3 DPO on "research" meaning ovulation on CD15. Chart is here not convinced yet, will have to see what temps do over the next couple of days. Let me know what you all think and feel free to stalk and let me know what you think over the next few days Smile

If CD15 is correct then I am absolutely astounded given last ov date was either CD 31 or 36... either the MC has re-set everything (which would be something positive out of the Sad ) or the Agnus Castus really is magical for crazy long PCOS cycles....

Hope that it has been lovely and sunny wherever you all are today Smile

IslandIsla · 14/06/2011 21:54

hugs mrsden. I think stopping temping can be a good thing. Charting can be really useful but if it causes you stress it can be counterproductive. Maybe a few cycles of 'if it happens,it happens' while you have investigations could be what you need. If the sperm can still swim even if there's not many of them, then you still have a good chance. Maybe a little less SWI is worth a try?

poppy I'm not sure you've ov'd yet, sorry! You have EWCM after ov date, and there isn't a great temp shift. For what its worth - agnus castus did bring ov forward for me but I noticed a reduction in CM so I only took it for the first half of one cycle. Bizarrely though my cycles have shortened (ov used to be around CD21, last 2 months were CD15/16) since taking it. Have you read Taking Charge of your Fertility? Thats my charting bible!

jaggyy if you're on hols keep with the wine - never mind about temps! Grin They don't change the final result.

jaggythistle · 14/06/2011 22:10

hi isla. :)

i was feeling a bit fuzzy headed this morning so just had a wee beer today. i think the problem was that although we weren't drinking lots more, we were starting a bit later as DS didn't settle so well away from home.

he is still waiting on the same 2 teeth coming through. having real tantrums now, which i am finding quite hard going. he's even banging his head on the floor and stuff. [shocked] i believe it's quite common but still not nice to see. he's got a bad looking bruise from head butting the bannister while we were away. :(

missing my sweet wee boy! hope this phase won't last long.

Mrsden sorry the results weren't more positive :(

jaggythistle · 14/06/2011 22:12

Shock even

Poppyjen · 14/06/2011 22:42

I agree isla not convinced about ov date. We'll have to see what happens over the next few days Smile

jaggy how old is your DS? I am having similar issues with mine, the calmest most chilled out little thing until relatively recently. He was a horror when we were away, proper tantrums (on the plane too....) with kicking and throwing himself backwards, banging his head against back of highchair etc. I naively thought I had until he was 2 before this started happening... Shock but he's only 15 months...At least he is easy to distract at this age! Quite a shock to the system though Smile

jaggythistle · 14/06/2011 23:25

mine is 20 months but has only been doing this for the last month or so. this week has been the worst!

he does the banging head on high chair thing too. i guess they feel funny away from familiar house and routines. :( he's been funny about eating a bit too, could be the teething again though.

he was hitting at my face today when i picked him up and he scratched it, nails have now been trimmed. it's so not like him that we're a bit lost.

am currently sitting reading about distractions to use to help them!

it must have been so hard on the plane!
