I started another bus! I can't believe we got full so soon :o

From the last thread:
"He has said - 'no gym, no sex' - that'll do it!"

:o

OMG I love your DH, he sounds hilarious :)

Seven that sounds like a good plan for tonight and Sunday! Make sure you enjoy every mouthful and gulp too!! And as spidookly said it was def best for you to use the FR this morning...the IC's could've just messed with your head more!! Smile

Can't believe we're nearly half way through a 2nd bus ... don't you all go finishing it off while I'm away next week so I have to go hunting around to find you all!!

Tanif · 30/03/2011 12:31

Are you off anywhere nice blue?

MickyLee · 30/03/2011 12:32

poppy I think you have the hardest time on here with those bloody long cycles :(

Seven Don't beat yourself up.. you had to test again!

I have no tests in so that's good. I can't just test on a whim before AF date. Going to buy one the day my period is due ready for the next day, if she hasn't shown up!

I was amazed at AF this cycle though. I couldn't remember how it was pre-pill but thankfully was so light that couldn't use tampons and only needed a panty liner (TMI sorry) she has gone now so will be SWI every other day at least.

Drank my grapefruit juice this morning. Recoreded temps everyday this cycle so far and feel more organised for conceveing. But on the other hand I know I will be completely gutted if I don't get a BFP after putting work into it.

goingmadtrying · 30/03/2011 12:37

tanif we're going to a cottage in the Lake District so nothing too exotic but will just be nice to have a break, and it's DH's birthday soon too. The weather forecasts don't look too good unfortunately though.

orangehead · 30/03/2011 13:09

Hope you have a nice time Blue, its nice to just get away sometimes

Tanif · 30/03/2011 13:11

Sounds lovely blue even if you don't get the nice weather

BoogiesBunny · 30/03/2011 14:09

Oh Tanif if you have any tips for the Lake District please pass them on as we are going in April and I've never been - so I'm very excited! Have a wonderful time - and does it matter if you spend it curled up in a lovely pub somewhere?!

My symptoms have pretty much gone - my boobs have stopped aching but I have a splitting headache which has not been solved by all the food and water I have been consuming all day. Creamy CM for the last few days but does anyone know what CM generally looks like before AF? I can only find descriptions of it after conception. (I hope no one is eating their lunch - really sorry if you are!).

BoogiesBunny · 30/03/2011 14:14

Sorry not tanif - I meant blue - apologies!!!

BlueCrane · 30/03/2011 14:21

boogies we're really not fussed if we spend a large amount of the hol curled up with a good book tbh it will just be nice to have a break! Am hoping the hol might be topped off with a bfp as well but thankfully not due to test until just near the end of the trip so unless AF appears early then it shouldn't be able to put too much of a downer on it all if I get a bfn! The main dilemma will be whether to have a few drinks and some smoked salmon/prawns or not if we go out for dinner since I won't know?! Depending on the weather we're hoping to do some walking, take a boat trip on Lake Windermere or one of the other lakes and I might manage to drag DH into the Beatrix Potter/Peter Rabbit experience place, though when we originally planned the trip I was hoping to be PG already and able to choose a few nursery bits in there...not sure I'll get away with that now?!? Smile

Poppyjen · 30/03/2011 15:06

Boogies check out the beautiful cervix project (google it, I can't remember the exact web address) they have pictures of CM throughout cycle - it is a bit icky (definitely TMI!) but I found it quite interesting Blush

Blue you lucky thing, have a lovely time!

BoogiesBunny · 30/03/2011 15:13

poppy - I'm about to go and view that page and feeling a little nervous - but thank you for the link!!!

sevendwarves · 30/03/2011 15:33

blue I hope you have a lovely holiday. I found the Lake District so relaxing and DS was actually conceived while we were on holiday there.

Did we get any more news from blushing?

Tanif · 30/03/2011 16:00

Toying with the idea of buying a BBT for next cycle... anyone have any thoughts? It'll only be our third cycle and already I'm looking at contraptions to urge the process along.

BlueCrane · 30/03/2011 16:33

tanif if this isn't my month then I'll be getting one too...I've definitely felt a lot better knowing even a little bit more about my cycle this month...maybe it's just because I can be a bit of a control freak but I def think having a better idea about when you ovulate etc can only help providing you keep the stress levels low!

seven here's hoping for more good news in the Lake District Smile

Tanif · 30/03/2011 16:49

I think I'll buy one. Also going to get some oil of evening primrose and grapefruit/pineapple juice (3 for £4 in Asda!)

weimy · 30/03/2011 17:18

Rydal water in the lakes is nice, and there is a nice walk that takes in grasmere and rydal water if you want a short easy one? Ambleside is nice and there are lovely walks around it. There is a fab 8 mile walk with a ferry ride, I think it is Ullswater?

We go every year with the dogs and love it rain or shine.

No news here at all. Going to a conference tomorrow so wont be around till sunday.

BlueCrane · 30/03/2011 17:39

ooh thanks weimy v helpful info! Think we were going to do the walk and ferry ride around Ullswater...good old Tesco CC vouchers will pay for the ferry! Not heard of Rydal water so will look it up. Hope the conference goes well.

MickyLee · 30/03/2011 18:32

Have a lovely time Blue

Nothing to report here. CD5 and last on the bus for AF due date.

You ladies better not leave my for pregnancy and january buses while I am waiting. Don't want to be talking to myself Grin

googietheegg · 30/03/2011 18:58

Thank you for all your positive thoughts...still not quite believing it though! Although I'm not drinking just in case. I'll do another test tomorrow...

seven I hope you're stuck into your second vino of the night, and tanif I hope you're feeling better - although runny nose is a good symptom right? I read that sore throats are too, and I deffo had that last week.

spidookly - you sound like the voice of wisdom!

Poppyjen · 30/03/2011 20:29

Looking forward to hearing your news tomorrow googie Smile

My BBT thermometer arrived today so I am all set to start charting tomorrow..should be interesting, quite looking forward to getting a better handle on what my body is up to though and should be good ammunition to take with me to GP if things don't resolve themselves.

DS first birthday tomorrow so I am off to make a birthday cake (I'll save some for you ladies obviously Wink )

googietheegg · 30/03/2011 20:35

Ah thanks poppy good luck you with the charting, and cake

spidookly · 30/03/2011 20:41

Awww Happy Birthday Poppy's boy :)

and congratulations to you and your DH on being the parents of a 1 year old :) you made it through the first year! :o
