From the last thread:
"He has said - 'no gym, no sex' - that'll do it!"

OMG I love your DH, he sounds hilarious :)

seven v interesting site! Thanks. How did you get on this morning with that FR? fx for you

I'm so so tired...really struggled to get up this morning and where's the sunshine gone Sad was quite getting used to that last week! Now it's just grey...

molly how were your temps this morning?

goingmadtrying · 30/03/2011 08:04

Good morning ladies, I was wondering if I could ask your advice? I was due on yesterday and other than a bit of pink cm a couple of days ago nothing!! I tested 2 days ago and bfn had sex night which I thought may start things off and still nothing! I have saved my fmu as have no tests in , how long do you think it will keep for?? Thanks in advance x

WaitingforStork · 30/03/2011 08:07

Well tested this morning (without permission from our leader!) and BFN. Holding onto the hope that it might just be too early to tell but realistically probably just a wiating game for AF now. Would be dissapointing but it is only our 2nd cycle so we would be very lucky to crack it so soon I suppose.

Approximately 12dpo (not charting or anything so a best guess really) so I'm going to be good and not use my other test until Sunday (unless AF rears her ugly head first).

The only thing that confuses me is how much my boobs have been hurting for the last week. Ususally they get a bit tingly just before AF but this has been relentless for a whole week now. Is it a different hormone that causes that to the one that is picked up by a pregnancy test? (Possibly dumb question) I just find it hard to believe that if it is the same hormone then I can feel it so much and yet a test won't pick it up?

MollyDefoe · 30/03/2011 08:11

Nah, temps are down this morning, so AF is on her way. Onto cycle 2!

BlueCrane · 30/03/2011 09:01

goingmad how long were you hoping to keep it for? If just a few hours whilst you pop to the shop for tests that should be fine...if longer then you might be as well to use tomorrows FMU? Pink CM could be implantation and that's what starts the production of HCG so could take a few days for the levels to build up sufficiently to show on a test...

Sorry about temps molly

Tanif · 30/03/2011 09:31

That sucks Molly

Googie all is looking very promising :D

Well I've woken up symptom free aside from I seem to have a keener sense of smell (though nothing is disgusting me, I'm just more aware of scents) and the fact that I'm peeing a lot more whereas usually at this point in my cycle I'd be retaining water.

goingmadtrying · 30/03/2011 09:42

Thanks blue I'll probably get some cheapie tests and try with non fmu today and then fmu tomorrow :) imaginary symptoms today are slightly achy boobs feeling sick and strange achy feeling in tummy

sevendwarves · 30/03/2011 10:07

Sorry Molly

BFN's with Internet cheapy and FR, I'm gutted. I'm not buying Internet cheapies again or testing until AF is due, it really isn't worth it

Tanif · 30/03/2011 10:11

Be strong seven we can hold out together, there's less than a week to go :) I keep telling myself to be strong every time I open the bathroom cupboard and see two Tesco tests smiling at me temptingly. But I refuse to waste money, I will POAS only when the evil witch hasn't reared her head.

spidookly · 30/03/2011 10:21

googie

"Don't know when I can actually think it's true..."

How about yesterday? :)

When I was pregnant with DD1 the first antenatal thread I joined (and my first MN thread ever) was called March 2008: Is it real?

Go you on to the December ante-natal club, they'll reassure you.

It's really happening, congratulations :) :)

going - are you even on the stats?

Add yourself if not, or give me your stats and I'll add you in.

I'd say keep the wee, get 2 tests and do one of each. I've no idea how long the wee will be OK for, but you might well get a reasonable test from non-posh wee.

xstitch · 30/03/2011 10:29

Morning ladies.

Sounds good googie

I have been a good girl this morning and not tested, didn't go an buy either.

Poppyjen · 30/03/2011 10:33

Good morning ladies!

Quick update from me - BFN this morning, this is 13dpo (well 13 days from when I thought I had ovulated after EWCM - actually now CD51 Shock ). No AF symptoms either... Confused

I'll test again in a couple of days but I think that things just aren't happening for me yet.

Very excited though as my BBT thermometer etc arriving today so I am all set to start charting on Fertility Friend to try to find out if there's anything going on in there at all Smile . Right now AF would be as welcome as BFP!!!

seven I know you know it already but its still early days Smile stupid internet cheapies, not even worth the small amount of money they cost if you ask me.....

maybebabyR · 30/03/2011 10:43

Morning everyone!

poppy hope you know soon what's going on (keeping everything crossed for a BFP for you though!)

googie congrats, I reckon it will have sunk in properly by the weekend Grin

seven sorry about the BFN, but there is still time for it to turn to a BFP Smile

BoogiesBunny · 30/03/2011 10:45

Hey poppy BFN for me again this morning - especially disappointing as DH was getting very excited last night and it is so wonderful to see.

I did pop into mamas and papas but actually decided I didn't like their nursery designs (the weird creatures would give me nightmares never mind a little one) so it wasn't as risky a move as I thought - nothing was purchased.

Tanif · 30/03/2011 10:49

boogies really? I love their 'by the light of the moon' and 'whirligig' ranges...

BlueCrane · 30/03/2011 10:59

Morning Brew and cake time..well, hot cross bun in my case Smile

seven sorry about the bfn...damn cheapie tests!! Hope the next week wait isn't too excrutiating... there's still time for a +'ve result!

poppy can't believe you're on CD51...and I was moaning about only ovulating on CD25! Hope you get some answers soon!

xstitch despite my encouragement to POAS yesterday I think after sevens trauma it's wise to stay away from POAS for a while.

I started packing for hols last night and had a dilemma about what tests to pack...have 3 FRs and a whole load of internet cheapies at home...decided on 2 FRs and 5 internet cheapies on premise that I could start testing next Friday (11DPO and earliest AF could be due) and if I did get a BFP at any point then I'd probably want and extra test (or 2) to use to double check Wink

maybebabyR · 30/03/2011 11:12

Ah, blue I am jealous of your hot cross bun, throw one this way will you Grin

I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot this month. But I am. I am convinced my mouth tastes of blood. And am going through water like there is no tomorrow. And yesterday during my workout, I was the hottest I have ever been. Literally dripping with sweat (sorry for TMI). Hmm

Tanif · 30/03/2011 11:34

I'm starting to attribute my symptoms to just being under the weather. I have a runny nose and can't stop sneezing, not much fun :(

sevendwarves · 30/03/2011 11:43

Sorry you're feeling rough tanif

I've just thrown my remaining Internet cheapies in the bin, I can't cope going through that again. I'm so annoyed that I wasted my only FR based on a very faint line outside of the time limit on a stupid cheap test, what a fool I am!

Tanif · 30/03/2011 11:53

seven don't feel upset, we do strange things when we want babies!

spidookly · 30/03/2011 11:57

seven

You had to test again once you'd seen that line, and it made sense to do a FR given how early it is. :)

Don't be sad, you've still a long way to go on this bus :)

OP posts:
Tanif · 30/03/2011 12:01

Christ on a bike I am so hungry. I'm sitting at my desk shovelling sandwiches into my mouth and I'm STILL hungry! May have to pop to Morrisons and get some potato lattices from the hot deli...

sevendwarves · 30/03/2011 12:09

Thanks tanif and spidookly

I'm going to try forgetting about it until AF is late now. We're going out for dinner tonight so I'll have a glass of wine and maybe even pate while I can. We're also having my mum and MIL round for dinner on mothers day (and its my birthday!) so I can buy a nice bottle of bubbly now as well.

sevendwarves · 30/03/2011 12:10

Gosh just realised we're already halfway through our 2nd bus!
