I started another bus! I can't believe we got full so soon :o

From the last thread:
"He has said - 'no gym, no sex' - that'll do it!"

:o

OMG I love your DH, he sounds hilarious :)

nothing here-im on cd15, going to keeo swi up until sat when its cd 18 - going by my longest cycle yet,and my LP being 13 days that covers any cycle hopefully!! though im sure cbopk's have missed ov date due to me using fmu :-s never mind!!

question peeps;if af is due 10th-15th april (12th i expect) when is the soonest i can do a reliable test?? am at the grand national 9th april and i really want to drink if i can,or im guna be bored with a bunch of girls determined to b merry!! what to do :-s... ive never tested early so im new to using FR etc. ??

sevendwarves · 30/03/2011 21:32

poppy I hope your DS has a fantastic birthday, it's amazing how much time flies when they're that age!

dolly as someone who's just learnt not to use Internet cheapies the hard way I'd advise against testing early. However I can understand you wanting to know I'd leave testing until the 9th and use a FR or other early pharmacy test rather than cheapies.

Had a lovely meal tonight, now sharing a bottle of red at home with DH. I might consider temping next month if I can get a cheap BBT thermometer.

Karbea · 30/03/2011 21:33

Thought i'd just pop on and say Hi, nothing exciting happening CD6... boring! xx

MollyDefoe · 30/03/2011 21:55

Hi all! Well, AF is here, so that's me off the bus now (sob! I'll miss you guys!). And the annoying lateness of this cycle means that the date I'm next due to ov falls exactly in the middle of a work trip - so I'm going to have to persuade DP to come with me :)

Ah well, I'm not too downheartened about AF - it's only our first cycle of TTC, and I do love charting! it's fab to be able to tell when AF's due, and to see that everything's "working" (hopefully).

Bluecrane and googie - so jealous of your Lake District trips! I don't know how into hiking you are, but I LOVE the hike up Helvellyn - if you go via some hills called the Dodds, it's absolutely beautiful. If you're at all into Wordsworth, then Dove Cottage (just on the outskirts of Grasmere) is lovely - and if you go to Grasmere you HAVE to go to the little gingerbread shop by the church and buy their amazing amazing gingerbread! Have fun!

orangehead · 30/03/2011 21:59

Sorry about af Molly

goingmadtrying · 30/03/2011 22:05

Sorry to those of you that AF has got :( I'm still in waiting to join you I've been and got some fr tests and will try again in the morning still no sign of AF yet and my boobs I think are feeling more sore and achy, I will also use midstream urine which I never realised before doh!!! Fx for everyone else still waiting :)

sevendwarves · 30/03/2011 22:14

sorry molly

BlueCrane · 30/03/2011 22:29

Sad molly sorry to hear about AF and what a pain about your work trip next cycle!

Happy Birthday to poppy's son!!

Thanks for the all the holiday tips...I'd have posted on here before about the trip if I'd known there was such a wealth of information to be had!! Am starting feel a bit like a kid again as am counting 'sleeps' til we go...only 3 to go now! Though think after my hyperactive positivity I cam crashing down a bit today, just been tired and lots to do at work before hols and thinking what if it's bfn next week and it's on to the next cycle...but trying to stay positive Smile and not think about that!! At cycle 3 we really haven't been TTC for long in comparison to many others so am going to keep smiling and enjoy my holiday and especially having time with DH without the pressure of SWI (he's feeling a bit worn out bless him!! These men just can't take the pace when we ladies really go for it...they moan when they don't get it enough but when we want it everyday then it gets a bit much for them Wink Grin )

goingmadtrying · 30/03/2011 22:54

Ladies - TMI alert, have just been to loo for a number 2 and like the other day had some pink cm when wiping, do you think the number 2 is related in anyway or just start of AF? any thoughts would be gratefully rec'd:)

BlueCrane · 30/03/2011 23:00

going the pink CM could still be implantation or could be onset of AF...testing with FMU might shed some more light if AF still not appeared but otherwise just a waiting game unfortunately! No. 2 and (TMI) pushing to do it could cause more CM to be released IYSWIM plus with AF or PG it can affect bowels if No. 2 seemed different to normal. Sorry not a definitive answer...fx for the morning!

goingmadtrying · 30/03/2011 23:22

Thanks blue fr all set for the morning Grin

googietheegg · 31/03/2011 06:43

molly sorry af got you

going it has to be the cruellest thing that so many af symptoms are like a BFP

I did another internet cheapie this morning and the line is deffo darker than yesterday, so I'm starting to believe it

BlueCrane · 31/03/2011 07:26

Great news googie Grin Have you done a more expensive test yet or just the IC's? Maybe if you get a digi one and see the word 'pregnant' it might help it sink in a little more?!

I was about to say 'nothing to report only 3DPO' when I thought I might indulge in a little symptom spotting Wink so here goes:

  • v v tired
  • v emotional...up and down like a rollercoaster
  • need to pee a lot (though actually that's not too different to normal!)
  • slight cramping/heavy feeling
  • was sure boobs sore yesterday though clearly too early for that
In fact, too early for most of the above to be anything but pre-AF! Blush
goingmadtrying · 31/03/2011 07:57

Thanks googie. Congrats on your BFP:)
well did midstream fr this morning definately BFN was squinting to make sure wasn't missing a faint one lol also more pink when wiping so feel as if AF is on the way, that would mean my cl is30 days, thinking postively when I concieved last time this was the length of my cycle, so now wondering if possibly taken longer for cycles to get back to normal after coming off the pill in November??? Goodluck for everyone left to test this month see u on the jan bus :)
have a lovely hol blue

MickyLee · 31/03/2011 09:55

googie great news and congrtulations

poppy Sorry about AF, great tht you are charting though and could see your temp lower so a little indication. good luck for Cycle 2. FX for you.

BlueCrane · 31/03/2011 10:23

going sorry to hear about the bfn...but it's not all over until AF makes a full and proper arrival...fx she stays away!

Tanif · 31/03/2011 10:24

Just bought myself a cheap BBT on ebay. Keep getting cramps on and off so I'm guessing AF is on her way...

MickyLee · 31/03/2011 10:38

:( tanif good luck for the next cycle, unless she doesn't turn up of course!

BoogiesBunny · 31/03/2011 10:48

Morning all! Amazing news googie - huge congratulations!!
Poppy have a wonderful day with your birthday boy!!
Going I'm still holding out for you - it's not over yet.

Another BFN for me today (14dpo). I have had a headache since yesterday (not sure that means anything) and my cramps started gently again this morning (boobs still big too). I have also tentatively spotted dizziness, nausea and a weird taste but could so easily be imagining it (or getting a hayfever!). AF due on Saturday - you know what, I kind of just want it to hurry up so DH and I can get back down to it!!! Although, a little bundle would be much better. :-)

I hope everyone else is well today!

LB1982 · 31/03/2011 11:07

Hi all. Sorry about the AF's :(

My AF is due on Monday/Tuesday and I've decided to do my first test with my FMU on Sunday :) The reasons:

  1. If it is BFP I won't have to go to work straight after (wihch I would if I wait until Mon/Tues)
  2. It's Mothers Day and what a wonderful day to find out if you're going to be one :)

Me thinks i'm getting my hopes up too much!!

maybebabyR · 31/03/2011 11:09

Morning everyone!

I'm with you on that one LB my AF is due Sunday. Really hoping it's a BFP for both of us, couldn't be a better Mother's Day pressie Smile

MickyLee · 31/03/2011 11:15

Ooo a BFP on Mother Day, how wonderful would that be! FX for both of you :)

xstitch · 31/03/2011 11:42

I'm due Monday too LB.

maybebabyR · 31/03/2011 12:24

Thanks micky

Fingers crossed for you too xstitch

Feeling really strange today, waves of nausea and dizziness. TTC can be so cruel, I am sure it is just my mind playing tricks on me!

Doesn't help that I am soooo bored at work today, waiting for some results to be sent back to me so I can carry on with my project Hmm

Tanif · 31/03/2011 12:31

maybe I'm having the same thing. I'm 99% sure that ertd is going to show up schedule but I feel sick so the little devil on my shoulder is whispering about cramps being normal during early pregnancy...
