Hi all - just a quickie... I found this site and think it's great (at first glance) to help list and rationalise the 'symptoms' we are spotting and even tracks them by dpo: www.countdowntopregnancy.com/

orangehead · 29/03/2011 15:05

I think we all get ahead of ourselves sometimes and get too excited blue

BoogiesBunny · 29/03/2011 15:07

Don't worry blue - I've done it too!! I think it's okay - we need to get excited now as I'm sure it'll change to panic once it all comes true! I'm currently considering dropping into Mamas and Papas before meeting friends for dinner tonight - I'll be walking right past it!!

Tanif · 29/03/2011 15:17

boogies I have a few friends with babies so never miss an opportunity to wander around mamas and papas and make a mental shopping list of all the things I want!

MickyLee · 29/03/2011 17:15

Just been shopping. No grapefruit juice there (dam Turkey for shopping) So bought 4 grapefruits. Can't get fresher than that. Going to juice one every morning and neck it as I hate it

MickyLee · 29/03/2011 17:19

Just checked that site boogies Oh lots a gas is too be expected Grin

BoogiesBunny · 29/03/2011 17:22

LOL! And lots of sleeping is clearly required! Better schedule in plenty of quality time with my lovely bed! What a shame...

sevendwarves · 29/03/2011 18:42

I'm going mad today, I can't relax at all, damn testing early I'm so confused! I'm going to have to test in the morning, we're going out for dinner tomorrow night and I really can't drink if I know there's a chance I could be pregnant. I keep needing to pee a lot today and backache is worse but I'm sure it's physicogical.

dollysgirl · 29/03/2011 18:53

i know how u feel seven,u think to yourself-well,if im
not pg then at least i can enjoy myself! but the limbo between is a pain!! im meant to be at the races nxt sat,and af will b due 2-3 days later, and im really good at not testing till af due ( mainly bcos ive lost faith after 14 mths ttc ,and prefer the feeling that i could be pg,than the knowledge that i failed again !) but i dont want to drink in case im pg,but i dont want to miss out,cos i'll be mad if it was for no reason :-s .... even if i do test early and get a bfn,i cant trust it fully can i ?!? and with 3 friends determined to get blotto ( and a limo with a free bar to take us!!) itl b just awful not to drink without damn good reason !!

dollysgirl · 29/03/2011 18:55

peeing and backache sound promising!!

BLUE its good to have somebody so positive around, you lift us all-you go girl!!

MickyLee · 29/03/2011 19:09

I know what you mean. As soon as my AF came I had a cig. Terrible I know but promise to not smoke during 2 WW Blush

WaitingforStork · 29/03/2011 19:58

Please please please Spidookly - can I pee on a stick tomorrow? I have two Superdrug tests burning a hole in my bedside table!

Last cycle was 26 days so that would mean I'm due on Thursday.

I've had sore boobs since last Tusday and the suspense is killing me!!!!

xstitch · 29/03/2011 19:58

Well I was weak and tested. Not surprising it was a BFN. NO tests in the house now so if I can avoid buying any will make resistance easier. My body is being very nasty to me. I am now getting waves of nausea, I mean FFS its way too early for that.

sevendwarves · 29/03/2011 20:43

Sorry, psychological, that spelling was awful!

waiting I think you should test, your AF is due way before mine.

xstitch how many dpo are you?

BlueCrane · 29/03/2011 21:12
Smile

seven I'm so sorry you're feeling down...here's hoping this afternoons test was bfn as it wasn't FMU...our bodies play such cruel tricks on us during 2ww and run up to af/bfp...

xstitch you're probably best testing with FMU as more likely to get a more accurate result

waiting go for it!

boogies I spent way too much time on that website the first 2ww of TTC and drove myself slightly insane symptom spotting! Have since kept a diary of symptoms each cycle as it's really helped me to see what's just 'normal' for me after being on the pill for 3.5 years and having zero memory of AF symptoms before that!! It's also helped me to spot a pattern in ovulation which is really great as I don't seem to ov til late on...

Am so so tired so off for an early night (and maybe a last bit of SWI for this cycle Blush )!

xstitch · 29/03/2011 21:14

I'm 11 dpo seven

sevendwarves · 29/03/2011 21:55

xstitch you certainly can't rule it out yet then.

I was looking to see how many dpo I can use my FR and came across an interesting site here with pics of pregnancy tests. My test this morning definitely closer resembled the first Internet cheapy than the second evaporation line one.

I'm going to use my FR tomorrow morning anyway, I can't wait any longer. I was better not testing, the uncertain test has actually turned me a bit mental.

orangehead · 29/03/2011 22:06

Thats dedication Micky juicingfresh grapefruits Grin.
FX for the morning seven

MollyDefoe · 29/03/2011 22:21

Hi all!

Sorry for the radio silence - am working in Dublin this week, and don't have any internet access during the day. But it seems like it's been a chatty old day on the thread!

No news here, I'm afraid. Still no AF, and if I ov'd when I originally thought I did (CD16), then AF is 2 days late, and pre-AF spotting is 3 days late. Temps are still high (here's my chart. But I had another BFN this morning. I'm really starting to think I ov'd 4 days late, in which case my temp would be due to drop tonight if I'm unduffed, ready for AF on Thursday. Needless to say, I'll be keeping FX for a high temp tomorrow morning, but I'm not holding out much hope tbh. I don't have many symptoms to fake report!

whitegold · 29/03/2011 22:30

seven that site is great! How many dpo are you now? Good luck for tomorrow, let us know how you get on!

I'm CD9 today, managed first bout of swi this morning before work - now I'm not normally a morning sex kinda gal, much to the OH's annoyance, but I knew he was working late tonight and would be tired so did it anyway, he went to work like this Grin "I could get used to this" - erm only until I'm pg matey!!

whitegold · 29/03/2011 22:34

Sounds promising molly fx for you Smile

sevendwarves · 29/03/2011 22:49

whitegold lucky DH! :o I'm 10 dpo today.

Molly sounds like it could be promising! Are you normally very regular?

MollyDefoe · 29/03/2011 22:55

I only had the coil removed in late January, and before that was on Cerazette for 6 months, and the combined pill for 11 years, so I hadn't had a "normal" period for a good long while! Last cycle was pretty "normal"-looking (whatever that means): LP of 15 days (follicular phase of 16 days). But I was a bit ill over the few days around when I should have ov'd this cycle (which I guess was CD16, if last cycle was anything to go by), and I think that could have delayed ovulation. So I'm not even vaguely going to hold out any hope UNLESS my temperature doesn't drop tomorrow. Haven't had many symptoms other than a ridiculously runny nose, a bit of heartburn, and slightly twingey boobs. I really think it's not on for this cycle. But it ain't over until AF sings (or something) :)

MickyLee · 30/03/2011 07:29

Good morning everyone.

Seven that sight is amazing.. I thoıught a line was just a line but it seems lots of things can show up a line and understand why testing early is just madness. Not going to test until the day after AF is a day overdue now... only 3.5 weeks away Hmm

googietheegg · 30/03/2011 07:31

seven another thanks for the site - it's really helpful. I did another test this morning and the faint line is perhaps slightly less faint...waaah! Don't know when I can actually think it's true...
good luck all today
