rew your cervix should be higher and softer when you ovulate.

xstitch · 27/03/2011 11:46

Well into 1ww tomorrow wait. Been having to pee a lot but don't feel preg IYKWIM.

thinking You kept a lot more composed than I did when someone did something similar to me 3 days post MC. Someone should have a quiet word with that person and tell them what an insensitive twat they have been. So :( for you.

Thinking11 · 27/03/2011 12:35

Oh what a roller coater!

AF is due today and no sign. I had a very small amount of red blood yesterday, but only one wipe and it was gone and then later I wiped and there was a small amount of brown, old blood. I have tested and got a BFN but I have had a very strange taste in my mouth that I have been trying to ignore since Thursday. My temperature dropped today. Last night even though I told myself I was going to let myself have a drink I had one drink and didnt fancy anymore.

My head is wrecked, normally I would be so excited thinking that I might be pregnant but instead im really worried. Ive been looking up the effects of dermeroid cysts and pregnancy and most woman have to have risky opp whilst pregnant.

Arghhh this is agonising, where is the evil AF when you need her?

orangehead · 27/03/2011 14:02

Hope you ok Thinking.

Iggly · 27/03/2011 14:10

Oh Thinking, it must be so hard for you! Have you got much info on what would happen if you were pregnant and had to have the cyst removed?

weimy · 27/03/2011 16:10

Thinking i'm sorry things are so difficult :(

MickyLee · 27/03/2011 16:15

Hi everyone.

Hope everyone is ok.

thinking any more news on AF?

I'm ok. Not much to report except started recording my temp every morning and found a fantasic website for it here
.

MickyLee · 27/03/2011 16:16

Fantastic even :)

Thinking11 · 27/03/2011 16:22

Still no sign and this taste is getting stronger. What a head mess! Sorry for moaning on here but it's the only time I get to let things out,

BlueCrane · 27/03/2011 17:04

aaagh thinking what a pain! Could the cyst cause AF to be delayed, sorry I don't know much about them but wondered whether that might've been what was causing your ov testing to be strange during this cycle? Really hope you get an answer soon, it must be driving you crazy! Really no worries about moaning on here...you need to have an outlet for how you're feeling otherwise the tension will just build up...which actually could be another reason for AF being delayed...

sevendwarves · 27/03/2011 18:05

thinking moan away. You must be worried sick. It's probably bloody inevitable you're pregnant when you don't want to be. Are you going to test tomorrow?

Nothing to report here really, my boobs still seem bigger and my back still hurts but I'm only 8dpo. This feels like the longest 2ww ever.

BoogiesBunny · 27/03/2011 18:06

Oh thinking you must be going crazy! I suppose it might be one of those things you'll find out in a few days and then you can begin to make plans. At the moment you can't predict or do anything for certain. I hope you have someone to talk to who can then help take your mind off it as much as possible.

I am not feeling great today, can't really describe it - cramps that don't hurt, feel like AF might arrive but isn't (not due for 6 days), feeling rather flat etc. Boobs still sore. Took a test yesterday and BFN - I don't think this is my month so not sure why I'm symptom spotting. Most likely scenario is I've been on the pill for two years and my body is going a bit bonkers or I've forgotten it was like this (but I'm sure it wasn't - it was bad but not before AF arrived - who knows how pill has changed me).

BlueCrane · 27/03/2011 18:24

boogies I have been amazed at how different AF has felt since I have come off the pill...I'm certain I was a straight 28 day gal before and now seem to vary between 30 and 37 days! Plus I seem to get cramps for the whole 2ww and all sorts of other things that I never noticed before! Plus I'd totally forgotten how bad my AF cramps are...how I hated taking the pill but it did have some perks like clockwork, light AF with v few cramps! But I do think it's rather screwed my cycle up! Still hoping I might have some clue about ovulation in the next day or so if it hasn't happened already Confused !

BoogiesBunny · 27/03/2011 18:30

Agh blue hating AF more than ever! And so pointless when your aching for a baby in your tummy.

dollysgirl · 27/03/2011 19:53

hi all! im mobile so cant have a proper catch up; THINKING,im so sorry i hope everything gets sorted very quickly for you , fx X

BLUE and BOOGIES- i also have had irregular periods since ttc and af pains from 2 weeks before shes due and then the opposite of no pain at all but she shows up 5 days early. ?!? mum nature playing tricks its not fair... its a familiar story tho- i wonder if there is any reasoning !

Nothing to report here,am cd12 so still swi- ing away.... though i do have a query ? is anybody experienced with cb ovp's? i still havnt had a positive smile and been testing daily since day 8 as my cycle can b 25 days-as per packet instructions- last mth i got one on cd11,but i tested at night, quite late, and this cycle ive done it first thing with fmu every day( the packet leaflet suggests this as the most convenient time to do it as u have to frain from peeing for 4hours before taking it) im worried ive missed it by using fmu-as most other opk's say not to use fmu.... thought i have just taken another 12 hrs later and still negative.... shall i start testing at night??? theyr just so expensive to use 2 a day, though im sure thats the most thorough way fwd. :-s opinions pls girls!!

BlueCrane · 27/03/2011 20:06

dolly I used the CD digi ones for the first time this month and haven't had a single smiley face though am v confused about when I ov anyway (hence reason for using them) but still none the wiser...going to try temping next month if this isn't my month! I used FMU as that's what it said on the box but again had read everywhere to hold wee and do it in the afternoon which I did try a couple of times but was just a total pain as it's so hard at work a) not to have a drink and have an excuse for not wanting one and b) not go to the loo!!!

BlueCrane · 27/03/2011 20:23

sorry meant CB digi...oops

dollysgirl · 27/03/2011 20:32

exactly it is very hard to do it any other time of day! although i know digital pg tests are much more sensitive so i assumed that digi opk's are too-and thats why u can use fmu with them,as opposed to the others.surely tbey are in-the-know and wouldnt say it if not to use fmu?? i bought another today and will continue to test in the morning, and if im having one of my longer cycles,i soppose i could ovulate up to 5 days later :-s im just worried i missed it,even though ive swi plenty anyway,I WANT A SMILEY FACE!!! lol, after all this i will prob get 1 tomorrow!!

i tell ppl that i have to give a urine sample with 4 hour old and quite concentrated pee!! ppl who arnt ttc will think nothing of it-say u think u keep getting mild water infections that is causing headaches etc so u have to take a sample to your gp... most ppl stop listening halfway thru! wgat cd are u BLUE? when did u start using opk,as in which cal day? fx for u X

dollysgirl · 27/03/2011 20:38

sorry for typing errors-touchscreen joy!

BlueCrane · 27/03/2011 20:52

Hey dolly I'm now CD24 of what could be 30 or 37 day cycle! having chatted to my Mum early on in my cycle she was saying that she ov'd v early in her cycle and I wondered whether that was why I'd been missing the boat the last few months so we started SWI every other day from CD 8 and have moreorless kept it up...I also did fist digi opk on CD11 as thought I had some EWCM, did again on CD12, 15-17 but then was looking back over past few months and remembered pain around ovaries a couple of months which was on CD24/25 so suddlenly though ooh...maybe I was oving really late and we'd finished SWI by that point as I thought I was in 2ww and expecting AF anytime...hence also not taking any notice of sharp pains as thought they were early pre-AF...so...held back on last opk from the packet and used it this morning...but no smiley faces and no EWCM since what I thought maybe some on CD10/11...so a bit Confused as well to be honest! i have also seen somewhere that the digi opks are supposed to be better which is why it's ok to use FMU but I've also read that the best way to chart ov is to temp, so may try that next month as digi opks are far too expensive!! If I was you I'd just keep up the SWI this month and if no luck try temping next month!

MickyLee · 28/03/2011 05:53

Morning everyone.

Have some news on SIL. I don't think she lost the baby! I sent her that text and spoke to her the next day. Said I was so sorry and hope she was ok. Asked her if she would like me to tell any friends for her so people don't keep asking about her pregnancy. She said she will catch up with me properley first then if I could, she would like me too.
Saw her on friday while she dropped something off at mine. Her DH was there so just gave her a hug, we both started welling up so didn't push it and talk about it anymore (was only at mine for 2 minutes) Her mum has come to stay with her now so I thought I would just leave her for a few days.

But then last night my DH heard she hadn't lost the baby but was upset because it was revealed the baby had a (this is going to be spelt wrong so sorry) chomazonel problem! I can only imagine this is Downs as don't know any others and with her age could be a higher chance.

Feel very relieved after thinking she had lost the baby. Although I understand finding out her baby has downs would be very difficult to take in.

anywy thought as I told you all she had lost the baby that I should correct the news.

AF still here. Waiting for her to go so we can get back in the game of TTC.

rew108 · 28/03/2011 08:40

Congrats rew :)

Can't see you on the stats!

Micky I hope your SIL is alright. Do you know if she had the Downs test? I know it can be risky and they have to needle through the belly into the sac or something!? Poor lady! What must she be going through!?

Symptoms for today - 9dpo and I have felt very very bloated all weekend. To the point where last night I couldn't sleep. Just the same as I feel the day of my AF normally but that's not due until 5 April!

I don't think I can take another week of not knowing!
