Tiger no time will ever be truly perfect and you should never put your life on hold . Hope it works out for DP.

Josie sorry about job :(

This is true. We can't put the brakes on much, I'll be 38 soon and my body is not made for babies at the best of times.

I have of course spent today scoping out the local area for good schools and family-sized houses Grin

I am bonkers, me.

Hello again ladies,

Well, I'm upto day 30 today & no sign of AF. My UCL is 27 days, and I'm approx 11 dpo (after using ovulation tests for the first time this month). I've never been this late before, & though I got a BFN this morning I'm convincing myself that maybe something good's happening. Confused

Will test again tomorrow and the day after that, and the day after that if AF doesn't show up in the mean time. Eek!

TigerseyeMum · 29/05/2011 09:54

Ooooh Pixie everything crossed here for you.

I am in the annoying 2 WW before ovulation, what a waste of time Grin

Then we're all good to go.

I should stop wanting it so much, because it will just make it not happen. I should act casual and sneak up on it when it's not looking. The element of surprise etc.

Pixiepops · 29/05/2011 10:48

Thanks Tiger, AF appeared this morning to put an end to my excitement Angry. Hey ho.

Still, at least it means I can throw myself back into the search for lovely houses near outstanding schools - just as bonkers over here...

Hello everyone

Haven't had much of a chance to be on here recently - been non-stop with various things and have banned myself from going on here at work - slightly paranoid that the IT chaps will log my internet use and tell everyone that I must be up the duff etc etc!

CD 29 and 11 DPO for me. Have had some spotting today, so think ERTD is on its way. Will make it a short cycle and short luteal phase but that's fine with me - shorter cycles are much better than long ones!

Hope everyone's well and not getting too pissed off with TTC/life in general etc!

Report
JosieSmith1 · 29/05/2011 15:51

Imps I often wonder that about my IT dept too Grin

Sorry ERTD got you Pixie, it got me too yesterday. Next cycle is number 12 so if that's unsuccessful it's off to start the tests at docs Sad Mam tried to discuss with me the other day how DH's sperms may be swimming in the wrong direction! Not a conversation I wanted to have with her, in the swimming pool! Grin

Not a lot going on here, starting the garden properly when DH gets home, he'll be making lots of lovely noise for our grumpy neighbours, knocking down a little wall. But it needs to be done before we can start any of the rest of the garden. Then it's onwards and upwards (and barbie time)! Grin

Mmm, enjoy the BBQ Josie Smile

When I registered with my GP (before we started ttc), he said to come back after 6 months should we not have had any luck, as I'm getting on a bit (35 Wink). Think I'll head over after the bank holiday, even though part of me thinks I should give the OPKs more of a go first. It can't do any harm though - onwards & upwards indeed Tiger!

Tiger I am waiting to ov too

I'm 36 this year, on cycle 7 so I guess I should go the drs soon, not sure though as I kinda figure if it doesn't happen it's not meant to be. I might give it till sept, I don't know Hmm

Hello all, it's been very quiet here lately!

No TTC news from me, but on the housing front we put our house on the market last weekend and have already had an offer! It is too low but we are very encouraged by it. We've got some more viewings booked over the next few days so hopefully we'll make some progress. We've still got half an eye on the new builds I mentioned a while ago so we may still be in the running!

Hope everyone is well ((hugs))

Hello all!
Been on a little holiday to Barcelona which was great, ate far too much, drank far too much and got a bit sunburnt...! It was lovely and relaxing, wish we were still there. Had a bit of a bizarre early positive on the opk strips last week so not sure if I ov'd early... temps haven't been that helpful so not confident of anything at the moment! Confused We kept up the swi just in case... I'm on CD21 now although, if I did ov early, I expect ERTD to kick in early next week. Not feeling any symptoms of anything, not very encouraging!

So, if ERTD does appear next week I'm not really sure what the next step should be... I'll be 38 in Aug and this is cycle 6 so I suppose DH & I would need to go and start getting some things checked out...? We've been conscientiously swi-ing at the right time every cycle, every other day, taking our supplements... but nothing's happened, I do try to stay upbeat about it, but it's getting pretty disheartening Sad

Fx she stays away late, I know exactly how you feel we've been at it for seven months hitting the right time and nothing. I'm 36 in Sept.

I'm only 1/2dpo so I'm not sure what sore breasticles mean apart from making sure you wear a sports bra when you go horseriding!

It is very quiet around here these days! Where has everyone gone?!

Some news on the house front from us, we've accepted an offer on our house and have reserved one of the new builds we had been mooning over Grin
It has all happened very fast and we may well end up moving in the next 6 weeks! The really scary part is that they've given us 28 days to exchange contracts, so we've had to put pressure on our solicitor, and the solicitor for the people who are buying our house, to get all the searches, etc done as quickly as possible.
It's all very exciting though!

Hope everyone is well.

Hi all, just dropping in for an update. I got pos opk yesterday so believe I ovulated today (CD19, a bit late!) - booked in for more bloods on Fri and Mon, got to go for another set at start of next cycle and hubby booked in for his SA today so at least we are heading in the right direction and might get some answers on 6th July.

Had a lovely week in Devon and work not too bad today - I'm really trying not to come online too much as you send yourself crazy that way!
Hope everyone else is ok an AF stays away for everybody!

Off to get first set of progesterone bloods today at 4dpo, then again on Monday at 7dpo - hopefully we will get a better reading this time.

Hope everyone is ok - I think we are all using the ignore the Internet strategy at the moment!

Well ladies, I'm back with you for a bit. I miscarried last night. Sad

Report
Cloclo15 · 11/06/2011 12:56

Oh Tomboy, I am so sorry, you must be devastated! I can't imagine how you must be feeling but you have all my sympathies. Has anyone been able to give you a reason, or is it just one of those things? Hopefully it won't take you too long to fall again. Did you have investigations before as I know it took you a while to fall? Is it possible you might have low progesterone?

Report
weimy · 11/06/2011 15:37
