I saw the programme last night - really was fascinating actually. I didn't realise quite how crucial our EWCM is in the whole process (maybe I fell asleep in biology at school) as without it the little swimmers can't even get through the cervix. Definitely an eye-opener. Gonna give OH's swimmers a pep talk next month and let them know what a journey is ahead of them! Apparently of 250million per go, only 20 or so of them make it to a fallopian tube.

ANyway - lesson over for the day.

Milo I can't believe you're still waiting! All the symptoms sound so positive. Is it worth popping to the GP to ask them to take a blood test?

cd 29 of 27. No signs of AF. No signs of anything, except weeing quite often and nipples a little tender. Usually get banging headache bfore AF- had that yesterday but resolved now. So just waiting. Its very odd because you just expect to either have af or have bfp but im somewhere in the middle ground and my brain doesnt understaaaaaand!

I've only been waiting this long because after getting a BFN on Monday I refused to take another one until Sunday when I know I can see my GP on Monday. That way I can either confirm the pregnancy or sort out blood tests etc. whatever the results of the test.
I'm wary as the symptoms seem good but I've had long cycles in the past.

Effing clomid not effective this month. Looks like fbertd is gonna arrive today... Early!! poo!!!

Will wait and see. If it went on for ages then i would go see doc. Chances are its just my cycle still regulating after the pill orimpregnantpleaseyweasy and it will come soon

Feeling quite sore in lower tummy this evening - not really like AF cramps just a soreness and sort of fluttering right in the middle. Back also a bit achy today which normally signals AF coming but by the time I get the pain there is usually a fair bit of blood there but nothing atm.
I am dreading doing the test in the morning in case it's negative, swinging between wanting to think positive and not wanting to get my hopes up and feel silly if it doesn't happen.

When did you come off the pill dreaming?
I just came of and haven't had an AF yet. However we have been 'fighting with live ammo" so who knows!

Don't know much as last time althugh it took me a year to get pregnant i was never really going for it! After my mc i realli long to be pregnant again and am thinking about the best way to go about it! Any suggestions would be great! Thankyou xx

always had regular periods prior to pill, never missed one. then been on pill for a while. came off in january. had perfect 27 day cycles in both february and march, literally on the dot spotting on day 27 and period on day 28. assumed it was sorted out. started ttc this month. swi on days 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17 and 18. Not sure when ov'd- had watery cm from days 13-18. think i ov'd day 18/19 in february and day 15/16 in march. Thats based on cm not temping or anything.
Fertiliy friend says it can take up to 16 days past ov to get a positive so maybe im not quite there yet, or maybe im just still regulating after the pill. Who knows.

Tested again this morning, BFN on clearblue digital. Going to make GP appointment tomorrow. I guess it's possible I'm one of the few people who need a blood test to detect the HCG but not getting my hopes up too much.

Fingers crossed for you both, Milo & Dreaming. Hopefully the uncertainty will turn into BFPs v soon :)

I've hopefully just got 2 more months of waiting until I get the all clear to start trying again. But feeling very positive at the moment.

Just been sneaking a peek on the grads thread and can't quite believe now that some of the BFPs I remember have already been born! When I was counting days it felt like a lifetime but now I can't quite believe it's over 9 months since I joined, doesn't feel that long ago.

Milo and Dreaming - so difficult to think of anything else when ERTD/BFNs are messing you around, isn't it? Sending calm vibes your way.

PNJeff - basically, I think we're all just trying to shag at the right time! Do you use OPKs or take your temps etc? That, and EWCM-spotting is the way to tell when you're most likely to be ovulating - you're most fertile in the 5 days leading up to ovulation. Good luck!

Cookie - sorry no luck with the Clomid this time. How early was ERTD?

No news here - only on CD 8 - the earliest EWCM has started has been CD 12, so fingers crossed it will turn up early this cycle too. OH and I have been having some excellent pre-TTC type shags so I must be very careful not to mention the slightest thing about ovulation or babies, lest it puts him off his stride again

imps tbh not sure what's happening with ertd after my rant the other day!! I'm still spotting despite being certain ertd was imminent!! Of course this buggers up knowing what day to start clomid as supposed to be cd 2???!! I'm just grateful it wasn't early afterall!! ;0)
